My best friend and I spent two nights here in September 2024 as part of our trip. Staff was very courteous and the check-in process was very smooth. The premises were kept spotless and the surroundings were quiet. Our room in the Jagerhaus was just as pictured with a comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, and an incredible view of both castles. The room was really nice. It was the best hotel we stayed in Europe. The location, facilities and service were excellent, as was the delicious breakfast. Sitting in the restaurant you can see the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle. It is really worth recommending.

The hotel's location is a slam dunk. Hohenschwangau Castle is directly in front of you, and Neuschwanstein Castle is visible behind you. The hotel is located in a small hamlet between Neuschwanstein castle and Hohenschwangau castle (10 mins walk up hill) . You can hike up to Neuschwanstein takes about 40 mins or take a bus ride up , 5 mins

Very nice indeed. I was quite hungry after being at the Neuchwanstein castle so me and a few of the people I was with found this Restaurant. Terrific restaurant right by the parking area for the two castles. Highly recommend. It’s is in a high tourist spot, but the food really was very good. I had the pumpkin soup and chicken salad, very delicious. My husband enjoyed his veal sausages and pretzel. There are kid meals also.

We didn't stay here but I would assume its excellent 👌 as well. We did have dinner here after our trip to Hohenschwangau Castle. The hotel was close to the castles and to Fussen for dinner and drinks at night. The room was clean and accommodating, but the manager was a tad rude. When we first walked in he would not even acknowledge our presence, but then some German's came in and he seemed to warm up a bit.

Stayed here September 2017. Klaus the owner is awesome. Great sense of humor, he was shocked that we had 3 Siberian huskies! The location is pretty much unbeatable, you are right down the road from the castles and can see them on a beautiful short walk from the inn.

I had seen this hotel hundreds of times so we decided to stay here this time for our week in Schwangau. It definitely didn’t disappoint. We booked three standard rooms at a very reasonable rate and we were largely very happy. Very nice hotel in the small town of Schwangau. Very friendly staff. If you arrive by bus, there is a bus stop just across the street. My only complaint is, since there is no air conditioning (normal for Europe) I slept with the windows open and I could here patrons at the small Italian restaurant across the street on their patio as late as 02:00 (2:00am)

I visited for four days at the beginning of November with my wife and two adults daughters. We found the hotel very comfortable, the staff very nice, and the food excellent. I highly recommend the hotel as a base for days visiting Neuschwanstein Linderhof, and Fussel. Unfortunately, our guide at Neuschwanstein was very robotic, but that was not the hotel's fault.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helmer Hotel. The location, in the quiet pastoral Bavarian village of Schwangua, is a 5 minute drive to the castles. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Helmer Hotel.

Our 2nd stay in this very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. A good place for hiking in the mountains and use og free bikes (very good idea) to bike around Schwangau and Füssen. An El-kettel in the room would be a nice to have for a couple of tea after a long hike in the mountains.

The Hotal has the family owned and operated charm and attention to detail that make is absolutely wonderful and unique. The view from our balcony of the mountains as village area is spectacular. The area has many great paved walking paths through the beautiful rural area to the cable car and castle area.

I am very glad that I chose this hotel for my visit to Neuschwanstein Castle. We stayed in the best room of this hotel with a balcony and a view of the castle right from the bed. This makes the trip even more romantic and truly special. The hotel staff is also very friendly.

I visited my grandma, and she said her doctor was very nice. Unfortunately, I also have to say that the prices are really not worth the quality. Great boutique hotel located mere minutes from Neuschwanstein Castle. Super clean room on the 3rd floor with great views of the castle at night time. Good location about 5 to 10 minutes from Fussen station, about 10 to 15 minutes to main attractions in Fussen (e.g. Museum, Fussen castle). Breakfast was tasty. It was perfect for a solo traveller!

Rooms are ok. We were given an unnecessary barrier-free room, which was a good size with a massive bathroom. If it was just room quality the hotel would not score great, but what really sells it is the location (superb) and the food. Breakfast pretty standard but dinner (we ate in the hotel two of the three nights we stayed) was delicious.

I had a fantastic stay here!! It was self check in, so I didn't have to worry about my train being late and could come in at 11pm fine. The staff in the morning was extra friendly and great to chat with. Bed was super comfy. The included towels were huge and super nice. Plenty of room in toilet and shower area. I usually don't do great with top bunks, but the ladder up was super easy to climb...

Nice hotel in the very centre of Füssen. I spent a couple of nights there with a friend. The Windsor room is nice but I would only recommend for a short as it is quite small. The common areas were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful.

We stayed here two nights. I can definitely recommend if you’re on a budget. Great location. Very easy check in and nice that they have a 24 hour minibar. The homemade cookie was delicious! We didn’t see any staff the whole time we were there.

Great spot in town. Simple check in, clean bathrooms and rooms we had a nice view out the window. The pillows were a little flat and made for a little uncomfortable sleep but other than that it was a great stay and a quiet hostel

To save others from my snoring I got a private room, arranged as two single bunks. Room for bags under the bed but not much else. Male bathroom across the hall had one toilet & two showers- pick your times accordingly! (Spare toilet on the ground floor.) What a great find for a hotel stay! We found the hotel extremely clean and the staff incredibly helpful. We arrived and were able to sit and enjoy a fresh coffee in the restaurant, a wonderful break from our long car ride. The property is very nice, check in was very quick, elevator only goes to 2nd floor (too bad for guests on 3rd floor), on site restaurant was closed on Sat night (so had to go out for dinner), breakfast was excellent, staff was very nice and spoke very good English.

The perfect place to end our hike of the Lechweg. Restaurant and bar staff were super responsive to everything we wanted and made some great suggestions on drinks. Comfortable lounge / bar to sit and chat, or knock off emails.

It’s located at the outer edge of the town, about 5 minutes walk to the center, which to me is a plus because of the quietness it offers. Driving to parking lot 4 of the castles takes about 10 minutes. Our room is comfort room two twin beds; both the sleeping are and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. Having two twin beds works great for families with grown kids. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations...

Was a quick overnight stay before visiting the castles. Room was ground floor next to the road but it wasn't that noisy. Did find a silverfish in the bathroom.

You can be lucky or unlucky with Best Western - today we were lucky! Modern hotel in older style building just on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and rail station. Good size room with modern shower room, all in excellent condition. Staff at both the bar and reception really helpful and excellent English. Didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food.

Hotel was nice and modern and in a central location. Staff were friendly on check in and explained to us how to reach the castles on the map and even drew us directions. Rooms were clean and as advertised with plenty of living space outside the bedroom.

The hotel is centrally located and right in the pedestrian zone. It is very quiet. The rooms are a bit thin and you can hear the neighbors walking around. The breakfast is very good and sufficient. We were very satisfied. Regards Christine and Rolf

I stayed in one of the available apartments with my family. Very central and probably recently renovated. Very clean, it offers excellent quality of sleep. The rooms are large and the kitchen has a cooking area with all the necessary utensils. It is a pity that there is no elevator that would facilitate the transfer of luggage. Very friendly staff who speak excellent Italian.

We were two adults and two 11-year-old children and it was perfect. The kitchen was nice and sufficient, the bathroom clean and the living room cosy and modern. It is true that some details deserve some fixing, but the general appearance was clean and well cared for. A Hungarian couple served us fabulously. The breakfast was delicious in general. The worst thing was the juices, the best… the pretzels...

The hotel is owned by a Turkish family. It is very clean and modern, with no carpets, so it is also suitable for allergy sufferers. The breakfast is equivalent to a 3-4 star hotel. As it is in the pedestrian zone, there is little street noise. Within walking distance of the train station. We arrived by train.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town. Offers parking at back for vehicles making it a great base for exploring. No elevators so if room higher than ground floor it's a trek with baggage. The breakfast here is amazing, buffet with everything you desire. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommended

The hotel is much cleaner than expected. It is located in the center of Fuxin Town. It only takes about 3 minutes to walk to the nearest supermarket. There is also a parking lot for self-driving. The check-in experience is very good.

I was thrilled with our royal room. It was a perfect fit for our pearl honeymoon. I felt like a queen. I slept wonderfully.
