The Best Western Plus Hotel Fuessen is a non-smoking hotel with 88 spacious rooms located only 300 m. from the historic city center, 4 km from the world famous Neuschwanstein Castle and a 5 minute walk from the railway station.
In our hotel owned parking garage are 65 parking spaces for your use. Our hotel offers the following amenities: American breakfast buffet, free internet terminals in the hotel lobby, fitness center/business center, sauna, same-day dry cleaning service, automated self-check in/out terminals in the lobby.
In our restaurant with seating for 120 guests, you can enjoy everything from hearty German dishes, Mediterranean and international specialties or gala multicourse meals. We are convinced our cuisine will impress you! And for you night owls, we offer creative drinks in our lounge and bar. Underground parking is available (50 parking spaces) and costs 5,50 EUR per day. Parking spaces are on a first come first serve basis. Our extensive breakfast buffet is created using high quality local ingredients and is served in our restaurant or weather permitting outside on the patio.

The room smells bad if you activate the A/C (you know you are supposed to clean these, right? otherwise, it can become dangerous).
The shower is moldy (again, the black spots all over your wall are not normal or dirt... these are molds, which is also the source of the bad smell in the shower... fix it; it's quite easy to do and won't cost much).
They have their own branded soap, which is horrible. Don't tell me a brand like WB can't have a soap deal OR AT LEAST, not doing a 3-in-1 shower soap....
Breakfast is simply basic, and nothing looks fresh, with all the flies in the food, to avoid.
The room has no complimentary water, but you can buy the plastic bottle in the mini-bar...
When we raised the issue, their only solution was to make us pay for a comfort room - they had no other room otherwise (it was cheaper for us than going to another hotel)
The comfort room had no mold but had a dog smell and fur all over the bed AND the extra duvets for the sofa-bed in the closet. It's fine that you allow pets, but can you clean your stuff??? Although, still better than breathing moldy air.
Not sure how this hotel got its four stars. At least the restaurant was good.
There are a lot of hotels in the area at the same price. Unless you really have a very good deal or you have no other choice, do not go there.
And if you go there, avoid spending too much time in your room for your health (as they seem not to know when something is moldy, and the quality of the air is questionable). Also, don't do breakfast.
Modern hotel in older style building just on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and rail station.
Good size room with modern shower room, all in excellent condition.
Staff at both the bar and reception really helpful and excellent English.
Didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food.
Our room is comfort room two twin beds; both the sleeping are and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. Having two twin beds works great for families with grown kids. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, which includes a variety of bread, eggs and bacon, cheese, cured meat, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea, etc. , much better than what you usually find in US hotels.
I think this will be my go-to hotel if I ever visit Füssen again.
