Best Western Plus Hotel Füssen

You can be lucky or unlucky with Best Western - today we were lucky!
Modern hotel in older style building just on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and rail station.
Good size room with modern shower room, all in excellent condition.
Staff at both the bar and reception really helpful and excellent English.
Didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food.

It’s located at the outer edge of the town, about 5 minutes walk to the center, which to me is a plus because of the quietness it offers. Driving to parking lot 4 of the castles takes about 10 minutes.
Our room is comfort room two twin beds; both the sleeping are and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. Having two twin beds works great for families with grown kids. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, which includes a variety of bread, eggs and bacon, cheese, cured meat, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea, etc. , much better than what you usually find in US hotels.
I think this will be my go-to hotel if I ever visit Füssen again.

Was a quick overnight stay before visiting the castles. Room was ground floor next to the road but it wasn't that noisy. Did find a silverfish in the bathroom.

We loved our stay in Fussen. Great town with lots to do. The hotel was great with very friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Rent a car and explore the area. We were steps from the old town and the castle. Train station was only 15 minutes away by foot. I have stayed in many best Western hotels over the years and this was by far the best.

Clean hotel very close to the city center of Fuessen. Americans...don't be wary of the Best Western branding on this hotel. The European version of Best Western is nice and clean. Compare them to a Hilton Garden Inn or Courtyard by Marriott in the US. The breakfast was plentiful and affordable. Don't hesitate to book this hotel.

Good location. You can park your car for €20 for the duration of your stay. The room was clean but a bit noisy.

Don’t let the name fool you. Some Best Western hotels in the US can be a bit lack-luster and mediocre in quality. This Best Western is well above and beyond that benchmark. The staff is very friendly and welcoming (and speak much better English than I do German), the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic! The hotel is well located (just a short walk from downtown Fuessen), has its own underground parking garage and even has a gym and sauna. It’s a convenient drive to both Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles and an easy walk to a shopping center as well as several restaurants. When we return to this part of Germany (which we will), this is where we’ll be staying. If you happen to be here during apple season (we were there in early Sept), be sure to try them. They’ll be in a bowl on the front desk. They’re fresh, locally-picked, and delicious.

Nice hotel with all amenities for a night or two stay. Rooms are cozy and well equipled. Breakfast is OK. Close to all attractions of the city. Parking in underground garage.
