Fantastic place, walking distance to the island with jogging path along the lake.
I called to say that we arrive late and the lady at the reception was extremely outgoing, friendly, helpful. She booked us a restaurant where we could eat late in the evening.
On the checkout day we could leave the car without extra cost for 2 hours longer just to explore the island. That was a nice bonus!
The only thing that we would welcome to have is a lift - we had to drag our suitcases up to the 2nd floor.
But otherwise- absolutely recommend!

Overall, a very disappointing stay. We arrived yesterday at 14:00. The weather was nasty - rainy and very cold so we were looking forward to warming up a bit in our room. But we were greeted with "check in isn't until 15:00, didn't you get the email?" Uh . . . yea we got the email, but the hotel is clearly not busy - receptionist just hanging out chit chatting with another colleague, not a single car in the lot, no one to be seen anywhere actually - so we figured we would be checked in an hour early. I mean c'mon people. But no. Rules are rules the receptionist said without actually saying the words. And without so much as an offer of a pot of tea or a cup of coffee at the hotel, she suggested we head out to find a cafe and come back at 15:00. An offer of an umbrella and directions to the nearest cafe perhaps? Nope. What a way to start a trip - it was the actual opposite of hospitality.
I'll cut to the chase - it didn't get better. When we came back at 15:00 (freezing and wet), they finally agreed to checked us in, but informed us that check out is at 10:30 - no exceptions. Again, I don't remember the last time I stayed somewhere that refused to check us in early because "rules are rules" and then with such an early check out time the next day. Oh - and they also made us pay for everything (room + parking) up front when they finally let us check in. I have no idea why and don't remember if that has ever happened to me before in all my travel around the world.
When we woke up the next morning, we wanted to make some coffee in the room, but nope. Nothing. Not a coffee maker. Not a kettle. Nothing.
Needless to say, we will be going back to Lindau because it's an incredibly charming town on Lake Constance, but we will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

What a great hotel, spotlessly clean, very friendly welcome greeting, lovely new clean room, excellent breakfast and a short walk into Lindau. Definitely recommend this hotel..! We awoke to 3” of snow and the whole place looked so pretty. Parking was easy and nearby nominal 10 Euro charge.. Steve

Great location.
Nice location. We didn’t need a car, because it’s only ten minutes walk from train station and ten minutes walk to old town, just across the bridge.

Lovely hotel, nice breakfast, and parking nearby. There is a lift so that was handy. The bathroom is great with a walk in shower. The rooms itself are a bit small unfortunately, the bed takes up all the space with little space left around it.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect for getting to the island.
The only thing that could be improved is the dining room's furnishings (but that's a matter of taste).
The available parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars) are also a plus.

Great location in 10 minute walking distance of the old town square on the island. Nice clean new hotel with comfortable but small rooms. Breakfast was a bit bland compared to what we are used to in this price range. I would have liked just regular filter coffee served in stead of machine made. And having to pay extra for a cup of coffe or a bottled water outside of breakfast hours seemed wierd it wasn't included. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Amazing staff and service. Our train was very late but they graciously waited and checked us in after hours. What a relief after a very stressful travel day. Great hotel!!

Small rooms, very clean and functional, modern furnishings. Breakfast buffet with friendly staff, something for everyone. The breakfast room is missing a bit of interior to make it a bit more comfortable. The location is simply wonderful, just a few minutes from the island and the next bus stop is also practically nearby. Parking spaces available at the house (fees apply).

Great location near Lake Constance, box spring bed, comfortable pillows. Outdoor terrace also very nice, barrier-free. Breakfast was sufficient, but not very varied. Unfortunately only 2 types of bread rolls and no toast, but a very large selection of coffee. The staff were also friendly and courteous, all questions were answered
