Hotel opened in 1994, renovated in 2004. In this mini-hotel 127 rooms, 5 floors.
Policies and conditions
- Public parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 22.50 per day.
- WiFi is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 15 per 24 hours.
- Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Nice Hotel and Staff, good location. Only complaint is that the room was very hot. During the winter months, the heat is on. The windows only open slightly so there isn't any fresh air circulating through the room. They offer fans but it still made sleeping uncomfortable.

The Hilton bartender are super friendly and willing to take care of you. Highly recommend coming down to the bar and grabbing a drink after a long day of travel or work. :)

GREAT hotel in old Town. Breakfast was a total feast. Great service by the front desk also. They took care of ordering the taxi to the airport the night before we left & it arrived 5 min early. Will stay here again! Thank you Hilton Mainz City!

It is not fair to expect high service Standards in Germany. Service is not in their culture guide. Front office was good but not friendly at all. They try to give you a goodie bag up on arrival as a nice gesture to the hotel guest. Hotel is dark indoor and outdoor.
I checked in my room that has limited TV Channels, may be only one English channel. which is a poor feature in a Hilton Hotel.
I did not like that American Flag is not outside the Hotel.
I am not sure but the hotel heating system is not working in the rooms. It is working good in the corridor but not inside the room , regardless you turn the ac to heat or not .
Breakfast was poor , a breakfast of Hampton inn hotel not a Hilton hotel.
Finally I am not sure how Hilton chain accept to open a Hilton Hotel in an alley , Hotel is not located in a main street, it is an alley.

Incredible experience, I felt like in home. people from room services they always do a great job, people in front desk was lovely always with a big smile and totally helpful, but for me the best part was during the breakfast time, special thanks for the chef and staff amazing food preparation and presentation, finally Münire thanks for be my friend, for our short but nice conversation in the mornings and for telling me the good places in the city you are an incredible host!

Ok ... this should be a 5 star review. The ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it desperately needs to be updated. The carpet especially.
But that being said, I LOVED staying there. The customer service was the best. The location is great. Food and shopping options in waking distance. No pool. 🥺 No gym, but they have a relationship with a gym nearby. I didn't go there, so that's all I can tell you.
But I'm big on customer service, and when I stayed there, the front desk was awesome!!

We just came from long journey and tired.
Waited for 30mnts for check in with only 1 receptionist.
Once we got into the room, its very old.
Thin pillow.
Stain in carpet and sofa.
They really need to keep up.
Despite all of those, its in good location.

In my last post I was critical because of no house keeping during my stay.
Upon my return to the Hilton Mainz City the desk clerk gave me a sheet of the hotels covid prevention steps. One was that guests desiring house keeping would have to request it the evening before they wanted it.
