Holiday Inn Express - Offenbach, an IHG Hotel

I had an excellent experience staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Offenbach. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spotless, modern, and well-appointed, providing a perfect balance of comfort and convenience.
The breakfast was a standout, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. The location was also perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transport links. Overall, my stay exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Offenbach. I’ll definitely return!

It‘s a very cute and cozy hotel located not far from an S-Bahn station which makes it easy to travel to. And for the price you pay it’s totally worth it and we really enjoyed the breakfast they serve.

Mixed feelings about this one. I’ll just break it up into pros and cons.

Pros:
The location is phenomenal. Right next to an amazing bakery and a grocery store.
Easy pick up for uber
Friendly staff
Free breakfast
Great price per night!

Cons:
I had a pillar in the middle of my room. This was EXTREMELY annoying getting to the bathroom
No laundry service or washing machines. Nearest mat is about a km walk
Breakfast is limited and is a nightmare after 9am

For a night or two I’d recommend this spot. For a week or more, it’s more difficult to recommend.

For me this experience was just above 3 stars but overall the hotel is a solid 4. The positives: location is nice for the area and the attached grocery store was wonderful, I also walked for dinner each of the 2 evenings. The shared underground garage parking was convenient and safe (I'm on a motorcycle). It was clean, bedding and towels are as expected and service was nice and they did acknowledge my Platinum Elite status with an upgrade to a large suite (handicap accessible). Breakfast was busy but good for a HI Express. Here are the reasons I would NOT book this hotel again: while it's recently renovated they did not include ventilation in the bathroom and the door will not stay open (I propped it open with a clothing hanger), the water temperature was all over the place and you really need to be careful not to burn yourself, the toilet often had a bad smell (one morning I smelt it in the reception area on my way to breakfast), did not flush consistently and the floor is not sloped properly so the water from the shower is all over the bathroom and they do not have the standard Holiday Inn Dove products (this isn't a major issue for me but they do not provide any body lotion). The suite had a lot of amenities that I was not informed of but I eventually found: a washer dryer combo (you must have the key card in the slot otherwise if you leave (like I did) the washing will not continue), a drawer with no handle or cutout to open it but that's where the cutlery / silverware is located, a dishwasher! and a very nice refrigerator with freezer and a microwave, plus a few dishes. These appliances do not come with any instructions and when I called for assistance they sent up a maintenance person (this was when I said my washing machine was on for 5 hrs and he asked if I left the key in the slot and I said no. I suggested that they leave instructions on the inside of the cabinet door and he agreed to pass on that suggestion to management). I struggled with the microwave also and no dishwasher detergent so I left a few dishes in the sink. Ok the biggest issue I had was the noise of running footsteps for a few hours each evening until midnight above me. I don't know if it was another holiday inn suite or a private condo as it's a mixed building. The balcony was very nice and includes automatic security / privacy roll down metal doors on the exterior, you are facing a lot of other neighbors! FYI No furniture on the balcony.

Holiday inn express in Germany is a trusted option for me. Rooms have similar standard layout, bathroom is neat and bright, cleaniness is respectable. Furthermore it comes with breakfast! Seldom in Germany you’ll get hotels with decent breakfast to start your work day on a right note

Very affordable price for a beautiful and modern room. Very clean. Big TV on the wall.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to find us two rooms at very short notice. The team at this hotel should be congratulated on their amazing customer service with their desire to go above and beyond. I definitely recommend a stay with this hotel you won't be disappointed.

We picked this hotel for visiting the Christmas Market in Frankfurt. We were travelling by car, so needed a hotel with parking. This hotel was great. Rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean. My 6'5 husband was very happy with the size of the shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car park being underneath the hotel was a great bonus, as it was super easy to get our luggage in. The breakfast was nice, good selection of food and drinks. For getting into Frankfurt city centre you have S-Bahn about 3min walk from the hotel which gets you to Frankfurt main station in about 15min. Very easy to use. We will stay here again.

We stayed at this relatively new hotel for 4 nights after landing at FRA and 4 nights prior to departing from FRA during a recent long vacation in Germany. Over those 8 days, we experienced consistent great customer service from staff, clean, comfortable and quiet rooms AND a great breakfast buffet every morning. It's just a few walking minutes to the SBahn stop which gives you access to get anywhere in the greater Frankfurt area. On most nights, there is also a small hotel bar open for guests. Thanks to the entire team for providing us a great stay. With family just 3 stops away via the SBahn, you are our go-to hotel!

Great hotel to stay for a fare or airport transfer, helpful and polite staff.
Breakfast area this time very crowded with only one coffee machine working and a fridge in the room would be great. Otherwise perfect
