Hotel Royal

Probably the worst experience ever I made in my life in a hotel.
The only advantage or positive thing is the position of this hotel, but you should forget about the rest.
No air conditioning in the rooms, very poor breakfast option/service and rooms are not 100% clean.
I booked the hotel a little bit on delay for our visit to the Eurobike exhibition, but the price was not fair at all.
If you can find a better location, I won't definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms are ok. The beds are small for those bigger than 1.80 meter.

Service is bad. You pay 21 euro for parking but the cut off is apperently midnite so after check out the next day you are not allowed to park.

We were informed of this in a very rude manner.

Location is decent. Walkable distance to the touristic stuff.

Yes the hotel is in a central location, nice neighborhood, close to everything. However I spend a night in the hotel during the weekend and it was really load. The pillow super uncomfortable. And the shower was not cleaned which created a small flood. The price of the room does not match the experience.

At the end of January 2017, I was in a training at the Hotel Royal for 3 days for Overnight. Unfortunately, I have to say that it is so far the worst accommodation I have visited. The Hotel is very old, no objections, but nevertheless, you could restore it to some extent. On the walls of the plaster. The rooms were really dusty. Fire spots on the floor. On the first day the heating was not working and the staff could not help me, wg. A shortage of staff. That is, only one Person is in charge of the overall Hotel.
Also the hair dryer and the TV did not work.
So far so good. Then it was me I would have smoked in the room, although I only pulled 3 times from the window, but unfortunately, the cigarette butts in a Glass in front of the window faltered. That was probably the assumption that I smoked in the room. Very rude man asked me 150 € for a complete cleaning of the room, I didn't pay for, of course. The best for last. When leaving, the hotel I forgot from sheer hurry, a bag with some objects in the room, a jacket, charging cable, blue Jeans with cash. I am quite sure that it is stuck in this Hotel because I was nowhere else, with the baggage, and upon my arrival at home, the loss could find.
After enquiry it was said that nothing was found. I suspect that the cleaning lady or the hotel staff have done this. You couldn't even run like normal people, a solution with these people.
Conclusion: If you want to take a risk and have a nice time in Frankfurt am Main want to spend, avoid this Hotel.
Very bad.
