The following day, after the marathon, we encountered the same receptionist again, who refused to serve us nuggets, despite a sign at reception advertising 24/7 snack availability. She also didn’t offer to check the kitchen for black tea when requested, even though she had left the desk earlier. To make matters worse, we overheard her being dismissive to other guests seeking help with directions.
Additionally, we had specifically requested interconnecting rooms prior to our arrival, which was not mentioned as an issue until check-in. The receptionist claimed nothing could be done, leaving us without a solution despite the possibility of an upgrade.
Overall, this experience was disappointing, particularly given the hotel’s potential and the Hampton brand’s reputation. The lack of professionalism and poor service from this particular staff member severely impacted our stay. I hope this feedback helps improve the service for future guests.
The complimentary buffet breakfast was a bonus to guests. The food quality was good and not short of choice.
There were plenty of seating areas on the ground floor for guests to relax, including a business center.
Train stations are just at the door step. The river is within walking distance.
We look forward to staying here again.
Unfortunately we are going to share the negative experience that we had ! We arrived and was confident that a Hilton managed hotel was going to be an enjoyable stay for us . Day # 1 we had two bathing towels , two face towels, one box of tissue paper, one floor towel.
Day # 2, we were missing two face towels, and we attempted to call the house keeping but failed to get anyone on line for more that 10 times. And we called the front desk ! Guess what , no one answered despite calling more that 5 X although one time, we seemed to get someone to answer but failed later they claimed they could not hear what we said and they did not attempt to call us back.
So we went to front desk to request for towels , more hangers and two more pillows…. And ask why no one answered by house keeping or there are any at all ? No response to my question !
The front desk was doing the house keeping duties of giving us two face towels. They claimed that the entire hotel had no extra hangers. Originally, we only had three hangers which were not enough for two people.
Day #3, there was no extra pillow given to us until we insisted and they delivered two to us.
Day #4, The two face towels were missing again.
Conclusion - the hotel’s house keeping department is failing to manage the room’s essential items. In addition, the hotel doesn’t have the courtesy to take calls.
So, make your own decision before u book this hotel.
