We have been happy to find this restaurant, with an excellent service from the waiter, with nice atmosphere, and good food as well. We have pork chop, cordon bleu and beef. Pork chop was very tasty and the rest of the food was ok. If we will have another opportunity we'll be back.

Stayed here just over a week. Loved it! Great staff! Clean, clean clean. Great rooms. Super breakfast buffet. Great location. Lovely walk from Ruhlpolding zentrum. Great view of surrounding area.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and a very nice breakfast. We've stayed for one night as a stop during our trip and we're happy to find this place, especially since we had to find a pet friendly hotel, which this one is. 🐶

A very hospitable house. Very clean, well-kept and well-equipped apartment. Home-baked Christmas cookies and a small Christmas tree greet the guest as they move in during the Christmas season. I would have liked to give 5 stars. Check out was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. That wasn't entirely stress-free, as the cleaning ladies asked to be let in at 9.45 a.m. Therefore one star less.

Very nice guest house with a good breakfast buffet. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. In 15 minutes you can walk to the center of the village, where many restaurants can be found. Great starting point for many activities. Gladly again at any time.

Excellent structure, impeccable service, all clean, breakfast room to scream and available until late evening for tea and coffee, room for relaxation and games, hospitable and collaborative owners and collaborators, cuddly cats, in nature, close to breweries, typical restaurants and not, easily accessible paths. It is a pity to have to go home.

We are still here on vacation and I have to say, I haven't felt that good in a long time. Great, large, clean room, excellent mattresses and pillows, a very warm welcome where we were given a number of tips. The breakfast buffet is great, the selection of rolls is unique. Very nice and clean hotel in a quiet location. Only a short walk to the center. Our room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. Nice shower room and small balcony. The breakfast buffet with enough choice for every taste. The owner and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy our vacation and would love to come back.

Very nice. Three of the room was a bit too small but it was very clean. Breakfast was rather poor. Often there were no more boiled eggs and the products were from the discounter. Otherwise everything is fine.

As northern Germans, we only knew the mountains when they were snow-covered and we wanted to change that with the family. The Hotel Alpensonne was the perfect starting point for this. The rooms are great, the food is great. In addition, sauna, swimming pool, billiards and table tennis at really fair prices. Friendly, helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space and storage. Nice selection for breakfast, easy parking and handy for town. Honesty bar for drinks was great. Will definitely stay again if we come this way.

We stayed one night only, and have plenty of good memories about it: quiet location, clean and cosy rooms (renovated!), drinks available 24/7 (self service, paid at check out), a very kind owner, delicilous breakfast and many others. Worth every euro spent there. Also the city of Ruhpolding is so nice, please take a walk around!

Loved this place. The owner is super nice and very welcoming, Wished we had a longer stay here. The whole place so clean with a family atmosphere. Spacious room with comfortable beds and great views from large balcony. Great variety and tasty, nutrious breakfast buffet. Would definetly love to go back there. Would give it a 5++++ star. A hidden gem! Everything about this place is perfect. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and have a great view. The breakfast was delicious. And the owner was super nice. I wish I stayed longer, next time I will for sure!

Eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie und es blieb immer Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch. Die Einzelzimmer waren sehr groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Das Abendessen im familienbetriebenen Restaurant war sehr lecker.

It's a very nice, small but modern restaurant. It can be seen that all dishes as prepared at the moment, very less from cans or refrigerated, everything tastes very good and fresh. Service is very good, there is always someone around taking care of your needs. They are very friendly and helping to know what to order. I would definitely come again if I'm somewhere here near.

I stayed here 3 times so far, and I enjoyed it every time I am here. It feels like home away from home even though I stayed here mainly for business. This is also perfect for families who want to enjoy the surroundings of Ruhpolding. Please note that this hotel does not serve dinner, so anyone who reviewed this hotel complaining about bad dinner, they reviewed the wrong hotel or were paid by competitors...

Accommodation perfect - beautiful, clean, modern rooms. Stefanie and Harry - the owners of the best I met on my travels, Stefanie was very helpful and gave us lots of info about the area. Breakfast great - home like from mum :) . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend to all ! Thank you for everything.

This is indeed a very nice place to stay. It is easy to fi d and close to the center of Ruhpolding. The reception was very friendly and I was quickly helped getting a seat reserved at a local restaurant. My room was nice and large but with a tiny shower. The TV was likewise small but who cares. Breakfast is top notch with a great selection of cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, Müsli, bread, eggs, toast...

The stay at the Hotel Steffl was very nice and we felt very comfortable. We had a great time with our one-year-old daughter at the Chiemsee and in the mountains and felt absolutely welcome in the hotel! The quiet location, the beautiful garden and the warm manner of the Steffl family (not to forget the great breakfast and very tasty dinner) delighted us! Thank you 😊!

The hotel is very familiar and very, very friendly and clean. You feel welcome right from the start, you get enough information about excursion destinations and there is a sufficient breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Inexpensive for Ruhpolding, although I don't know what it looks like when the Biathlon World Cup takes place there. We loved it and will come again. 👍👌 Thomas Felsch

Great view of the mountains and the Church of St. Georg, very nice family hotel with a great breakfast and only a ten-minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended.

One of the mighty pluses of the guesthouse is the stunning view from the window. Everything is very clean, good comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant with a standard menu. Slightly poor breakfast.
