3 star hotels in Ruhpolding

We liked everything: location, stuff, rooms (extremely clean) , food (we celebrated here christmas) swimming pool. The only min was - it was extremely WARM in the restaurant. It was so warm that I couldn't enjoy the atmosphere.

We had a perfect stay. The food was outstanding and the also have a brand new Spa. All the staff was so helpfull with advise to visit places nearby. Salzburg is just about 30 minutes away. The rooms are refurbished and we one on the top floor with a mountain view.

Excellent 4 star hotel with a completely new built Wellness / Spa area. We stayed a total of 3 days and really enjoyed it. The hotel can only be booked with breakfast but you can have dinner in the A la carte restaurant (very good quality). Restaurant has also been refurbished recently. Nice and quick service in the beer garden in the afternoon for good price so decided to test it for dinner also. Good atmosphere inside and quick service. Really good desert and was possible to get a small cognac to it.

Traditional nice hotel. Service can be improved both at the reception desk and at breakfast. For hiking: in Aug most of the cable cars were closed.

Rooms were fine, size was sufficient, bathroom was good, bed was acceptable but unfortunately we still couldn't get any sleep because of one easily resolveable issue which was the pillows, they felt like a pillow cover filled with rolled up socks and as such both my wife and I could not sleep at all. 3 stars Service was very friendly and helpful at the reception and in the breakfast room(good breakfast...

I just loved this place. The breakfast served was good. They provided us with a diaper changing mat and baby bed on request. Of course it costs 15€ additional price. They also let us wax the cross country skis and were very accommodating with check-in times too. Definitely will choose them when in the Ruhpolding

Only stayed one night but thought the hotel (and town) was worth a longer visit. Nice location, excellent room, the hotel has character and is in a nice spot.

Clean and rustic hotel. Rooms were very clean and plenty of room, including rails for drying wet ski wear. Staff were extremely friendly and polite and helpful. Would visit again.

Outstanding place to stay. On our recent visit to Ruhpolding from Ireland, we stayed at the Alte Sage. Stefanie and Harry were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room - Super. Breakfast - Super. Cleanliness - Spotless. Location - Super (beside the river). Stefanie, who speaks perfect English was always available for information, tips and directions. Highly, Highly Recommend. A very hospitable house. Very clean, well-kept and well-equipped apartment. Home-baked Christmas cookies and a small Christmas tree greet the guest as they move in during the Christmas season. I would have liked to give 5 stars. Check out was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. That wasn't entirely stress-free, as the cleaning ladies asked to be let in at 9.45 a.m. Therefore one star less.

Very nice guest house with a good breakfast buffet. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. In 15 minutes you can walk to the center of the village, where many restaurants can be found. Great starting point for many activities. Gladly again at any time.

Excellent structure, impeccable service, all clean, breakfast room to scream and available until late evening for tea and coffee, room for relaxation and games, hospitable and collaborative owners and collaborators, cuddly cats, in nature, close to breweries, typical restaurants and not, easily accessible paths. It is a pity to have to go home.

Very nice and clean hotel in a quiet location. Only a short walk to the center. Our room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. Nice shower room and small balcony. The breakfast buffet with enough choice for every taste. The owner and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy our vacation and would love to come back.

Very nice. Three of the room was a bit too small but it was very clean. Breakfast was rather poor. Often there were no more boiled eggs and the products were from the discounter. Otherwise everything is fine.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space and storage. Nice selection for breakfast, easy parking and handy for town. Honesty bar for drinks was great. Will definitely stay again if we come this way.

We stayed one night only, and have plenty of good memories about it: quiet location, clean and cosy rooms (renovated!), drinks available 24/7 (self service, paid at check out), a very kind owner, delicilous breakfast and many others. Worth every euro spent there. Also the city of Ruhpolding is so nice, please take a walk around!

Loved this place. The owner is super nice and very welcoming, Wished we had a longer stay here. The whole place so clean with a family atmosphere. Spacious room with comfortable beds and great views from large balcony. Great variety and tasty, nutrious breakfast buffet. Would definetly love to go back there. Would give it a 5++++ star. A hidden gem! Everything about this place is perfect. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and have a great view. The breakfast was delicious. And the owner was super nice. I wish I stayed longer, next time I will for sure!

Eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie und es blieb immer Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch. Die Einzelzimmer waren sehr groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Das Abendessen im familienbetriebenen Restaurant war sehr lecker.

It's a very nice, small but modern restaurant. It can be seen that all dishes as prepared at the moment, very less from cans or refrigerated, everything tastes very good and fresh. Service is very good, there is always someone around taking care of your needs. They are very friendly and helping to know what to order. I would definitely come again if I'm somewhere here near.

The stay at the Hotel Steffl was very nice and we felt very comfortable. We had a great time with our one-year-old daughter at the Chiemsee and in the mountains and felt absolutely welcome in the hotel! The quiet location, the beautiful garden and the warm manner of the Steffl family (not to forget the great breakfast and very tasty dinner) delighted us! Thank you 😊!

The hotel is very familiar and very, very friendly and clean. You feel welcome right from the start, you get enough information about excursion destinations and there is a sufficient breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Inexpensive for Ruhpolding, although I don't know what it looks like when the Biathlon World Cup takes place there. We loved it and will come again. 👍👌 Thomas Felsch

Great view of the mountains and the Church of St. Georg, very nice family hotel with a great breakfast and only a ten-minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay. Staff were superb & very helpful. Food was excellent, with a wide choice of breakfasts available. I would recommend this hotel as the perfect place to explore Rhupolding and the surrounding area. We would visit again given the opportunity.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen, war vorzüglich und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmerausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber zweckmäßig und vor allem sauber.

wir haben uns auf unserer Durchreise- leider nur 2 Nächte - sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders gut war das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüfett. Das Personal war stets hilfsbereit. Eine Wiederholung - auch für längere Zeit - haben wir schon auf unserem Kalender vermerkt.

Check and check out with very unpleasant recepionist/waiter. Didnt speak english, unhelpful, annoyed with our presence, no greetings, didnt provide any snacks to bier. He charged us for ,,city tax” even though booking already took that.

Quiet location, excellent cuisine

The breakfast was great, the owner was very nice and the swimming lake was great. It was also very nice that there were several possibilities to sit in the evening with a coffee or tea. We also had the possibility to charge our electric car.

The entire stay was just great. The reception was very warm and we were first shown the whole house. The room was very spacious and equipped with a table, 2 chairs, 2 armchairs and a wide bed with separate mattresses. The balcony offered a great view of the mountains and was supplemented by a table with 2 chairs. The bathroom was very large with a shower, but it could be replaced. The pool in the basement...

The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. They give good tips for excursions and activities, especially the recommendations of the restaurants for evening meals are excellent. The breakfast in the hotel is very, very good and varied. There are only fresh products from the region. We can only recommend this hotel. We would be happy to come back. 👍👍👍

Being a British vedgetarian in the alps of Bravaria I knew that there were would problems with food. However, even though my mother emailed the hotel a week in advance and received a reassuring stating that being a vegetarian would be no problem and that they would have good food for us turned out not to be the case when we arrived. We booked a week at the Alpenhotel Wittelsbach , opting for the romantic suite, to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The room itself was breathtaking. The service exceptional. Marus and Anya are amazing hosts. Ruhpolding is an excellent place for walking, recharging the batteries and generally enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature.
