Hotels with sea view in Scharbeutz

You sit with a great view of the sea, but more like in a dining room. -Spa: friendly staff, but overworked. According to the staff, the peeling could not be warmed up because it was done "unexpectedly"

We spent our holiday in Scharbeutz with 4 generations and everyone felt completely at home at Bayside

One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little

Great location, unfortunately a hotel in need of renovation with too many flaws: -Rooms: carelessly and haphazardly furnished. Artificial flowers, low-quality materials, fittings partly calcified, partly tarnished

you roll out, sleep on a hillside, the staff smokes right in front of the window on the ground floor, when I left I had to discuss for 10 minutes that I had already paid for the room in advance

4 nights, positive: the breakfast is really good, negative: the shower doesn't work at all, only suitable for very slim people

And of course I wasn't asked how I enjoyed my stay. they don't want to hear bad things

This is probably due to a shortage of skilled staff. The rooms were well furnished with balconies. At night, it was dim when you got up. The size and furnishings were adequate. We have decided to book the hotel again

We booked a room with a breakfast buffet. The buffet was very extensive and there was something for every taste, very tasty. Unfortunately, the staff didn't always speak German

My family had a blast! It was clean, updated, and the breakfast was amazing!

Had a really nice stay here and perfect for families with great facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Only drama are the lifts and check out is a mess. But we will learn for next time.

We have now stayed at the beach hotel twice and were thrilled each time with the hotel itself, the service, the location and everything that goes with it! Family-run, lovingly and elegantly furnished, super neat, the breakfast is varied and delicious

The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is nice and large, so really great. Unfortunately, this year we had to switch to another hotel…. but for next year we will book again in good time !!!!!

By chance I was put up in this hotel and I am very happy about it. The stay at the Fontana Strandhotel was very nice. The room I had was clean and in a classic country house style, very comfortable

If you decide to stay in this hotel, then I recommend booking breakfast and a visit to the in-house restaurant "Horizont". The homemade jam is extremely tasty. I was even able to buy them on site

A little, very excellent hotel, just a few steps from the beach. Very friendly employees! A beautiful, very clean room, with a little balcony, where you have a great view at the sunrise

The breakfast is superb, with a lot of smoked fish. Every morning freshly made scrambled eggs with shrimps

We booked spontaneously and had great days in the historic hotel. We got an upgrade and had a great room with a sea view. The service was super nice and we felt very comfortable

Nice staff, great service, nice location, very close to the beach only a short walk about 100m maximum. The city center is also nearby and also the Baltic Sea thermal baths. Our daughter liked the loft bed best

We can have scrambled or fried eggs freshly prepared upon request. In the evenings, we sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy an Aperol or a beer. For us, the hotel is a place to relax. About 100 meters from the beach

Very nice location, in the restaurant upstairs there is a TV on which sports can be streamed if desired and there is a large selection of drinks. But the selection of food is not huge but it is very tasty

Very, very nice and attentive staff! I have rarely experienced something so nice. Beds very comfortable, even with down comforter and pillows. It was very quiet at night and we slept well

We've been coming to this hotel for several years now. We can completely unwind here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious

If I were to be extremely picky, I'd say that the ultimate sweets lover might appreciate some cake for breakfast, and that a coffee maker and shampoo/conditioner in the room would make an already perfect experience even more perfect

In urgent need of a place to recharge my batteries, I intuitively chose The Cozy Hotel - and my intuition guided me to a wonderful haven of peace! I started to relax as soon as my taxi drove up to the entrance

My room was spacious, the bed was ever so comfortable and the bedding of the highest quality. The location was so quiet at night that I slept with open windows for the first time in a long while

But hey, the absence of these minor amenities does not matter one bit. I'm totally in love with the Cozy Hotel and will only return to Timmendorfer Strand if I can stay here again

The fact that it is available until 11:30 is fabulous, as it gives you time to sleep in, to exercise and to still take your sweet time eating all the delicious treats on offer

As a foodie, the icing on my cake was the wonderful dinner I had one night, cooked to perfection, lovingly presented and generously served. And the breakfast was even better

2 recommendations: I think would be nice also to consider more things for kids, in the pool and especially food. I mean breakfast ist really nice, but dinner doubt you can convince kids with such food such as seafood etc

We were here for the second time, definitely not the last! Great service, great view of the Baltic Sea, beautiful pool area. Also very child and dog friendly. We'll be back!

Very nice stay Very nice stay. We will return again and again. Especially appreciate the location right on the lovely beach, close to the cozy town, and the hotel has both an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool.

They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner

Were to eat at the Filou, good food and cakes can be eaten there. But it can take a while to get a seat.

I really enjoyed the location, which was very close to the sea. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good. The rooms were very comfortable, although they seemed a bit outdated.

There is no spa as advertised but the saunas and steam plus rest area were excellent. It's a pity that there is no outdoor seating other than a noisy smoking area

And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

The staff were extremely helpful and engaging at all times. The so-called gym is a room with four pieces of equipment and limited dumbbells (max weight 10 kg)

Hence I contacted the reservation and was told that I must have overlooked the comment. I told them, that my reservation clearly mentions seaview

We had a lovely suite that faced the Baltic Sea which was so wonderful to see from our room everyday. The hotel employees are very accommodating and very friendly. We look forward to our next trip there

So, the bed are wandering apart if you move across the border. The bathroom was great as well. The best thing about the hotel is the terrace where you can have breakfast looking directly towards the sea

I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview

10 minutes later I was cold and shown a room with unobstructed sea view. If hotels leverage different channels such as HRS, orbitz, expedia, etc

4 days stay Quiet nice place - next to the beach and restaurants. Several shops and restaurants only accept cash? I wounder why. The room were nice and even with a tiny sea view

I go to the appartments since over 15 years, because it is quiet, very close to the beach and you can use the spa of the hotel. There are even a nice swimming pool and saunas in the basement

You can stay with 4 or more persons on the rooms. There are enough parking lots or park close for free, unloading in front of the appartments is no problem

A day as a guest was very nice

The pool is amazing! There were a few minor inconveniences (not enough toilet paper, hair dryer broken, not enough trash bags) and the staff was slow to fix these

A great hotel in a beautiful location! However, the shower is disastrous, the shower jet is so hard that it really hurts to shower. The mattresses are also very worn out

And the friendliness of the info mails, as well as the hotel owner really left a lot to be desired

We looked for and found a little break very spontaneously after our wedding. The journey was very easy and well signposted. The check-in was also problem-free. The prime location right on the beach is just beautiful

Right on to the promenade in Travemünde, the windows of this restaurant face the beach and sea. The staff here is very nice and helpful. Enjoyed coffee and cake at this place.

The location is outstanding and only 7 mins from the beach - however you won’t feel the walk as you’re just passing by the sea and all the lovely restaurants and shops

The stuff is very friendly and the breakfast was beyond expectations. We are quite picky when it comes to food but the breakfast was very good. Small quantities but always fleshly refilled and great variety

The hotel is partly newly renovated and gives a lovely vibe. The hotel apartment room was spacious and offers all needed facilities. Only the bedroom curtains could be updated to offer proper blackout

The view (room with sea view) is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay with small kid, under 2 years old. During the winter the room is well warmed

This is one of the most polite and nicest hotel with very welcome and friendly stuff! We was warm welcomed here with our pets, both Dog and Cat! No one other hotel where happy to see us, but Hotel Deitscher Kaiser was! 5 of 5 stars for everything! Thank you for your warm welcome us!

A great location minutes to the beach from you room. Spa is great the hot tub is the only thing I can say was not great as it was very shallow

The relaxation pool was a way better option breakfast buffet is great with a huge selection best to arrive earlier as it gets busy

The location of the hotel is great, beach, port, everything is close, rooms are clean. Only the toilet in the room could not be installed. Parking fee for HOCH TAG 15,00 euros. Friendly staff, especially Mrs

Amazing service. You can see everybody smiles but under facemask tho 😊🇩🇪 English talking stuff is lovely. Food is original, tasty and healthy.
