What a lovely hotel- directly at the seaside with a beautiful view. Good quality food and nice selection.

Great hotel, with a wonderful spa. It's literally on the beach and have beautiful window views of the sea. Swimming pool, sauna and massages

It took about 40 minutes for the sushi to come, but we ordered several complicated rolls, so the waiting time seemed reasonable. The food was served and we were truly impressed with the presentation and the taste

Reserved tables weren't marked and waiters were a bit busy at the beginning what led to a bit of confusion and we had to change tables. Once we finally got a table we were served the drinks immedimmediately

If you're going to Scharbeautz, stay here. Sauna, patio, restaurant, pool and rooftop bar are well serviced, immaculate and luxorius. I especially liked the Himylanian salt lined sauna.

you roll out, sleep on a hillside, the staff smokes right in front of the window on the ground floor, when I left I had to discuss for 10 minutes that I had already paid for the room in advance

4 nights, positive: the breakfast is really good, negative: the shower doesn't work at all, only suitable for very slim people

And of course I wasn't asked how I enjoyed my stay. they don't want to hear bad things

I would especially like to thank the team for all the perks & friendly treatment! For instance: there’s a parking fee but cars can remain in the garage after check-out, spa entrance can be gained prior to check-in at the hotel and again after check-out), first mini-bar filling is free, complimentary water in the room and at checkout (not to mention fruit & chocolate, again in room and at checkout!

The best kept secret in Scharbeutz. Wonderful hotel, but made even better by the most wonderful staff. The check in, the restaurant staff, the barman, all brilliant. Superb location, great food, and attached to the spa.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic - everything you could want and then some - one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel stay. The hotel is about 1km from the city so within walking distance to shops, restaurants & bars

I would really recommend it, if you are looking for a little bit of a nicer place you should definetly check this hotell out, the rooms were really nice and you get daily cleaning and room service if you want

A truly superb hotel, deserving in every aspect of their 5-star rating. The rooms were spacious & comfortable (as was the bed!) and the balcony was lovely. Bathrooms are modern & water pressure very good

Nice hotel and a lovely place for Spa and a wonderful sauna landscape free for all guests at the hotel. Perfect for a romantic weekend in the charming village and beach at Timmerdorfer Strand.

The living/dining area is also so spacious that there is also room for the children to play. The large property is fully fenced, there is a beach chair, a sandbox, a gas grill and a table tennis table

Our absolute favorite holiday home in 15 years of Baltic Sea holidays and we will definitely be back next year!

Wonderful large holiday home in beautiful Haffkrug. We have been there several times with 3 generations and 8 people. Each "family" had their own bathroom and there was enough space for everyone

The landlords are super nice and a highlight is a beach chair on the beach in Haffkrug to the house (700 m walk)

This means that you are very flexible regardless of the weather and can also just go to the beach for 2 hours

Great managed hotel, with a great breakfast. Clean Sea and an extra section opposite the hotel. A Hotel with high well-being character. Breakfast and food a la carte super, also priced! Great surroundings

They build another nice litte winter garden to allow even more seats with panoramic view. Summer or winter always a nice place to stay and it is open 365 days

reservation is not requested but helps in the main season to get your preffered place

Nice Restautrant with nice and calm atmoshere. Staff is really in the business and knows whats important. they are perfectly organized and the food is really nice. try the duck breast in autumn or one of the fish plates

Drinks are fitting perfectly doesnt matter if you like wine of beer. The viewm from the restaurant to the baltic see is really nice

This is probably due to a shortage of skilled staff. The rooms were well furnished with balconies. At night, it was dim when you got up. The size and furnishings were adequate. We have decided to book the hotel again

We booked a room with a breakfast buffet. The buffet was very extensive and there was something for every taste, very tasty. Unfortunately, the staff didn't always speak German

Maritim was a great hotel! Feels like a resort, and close to the beach. Walk back from the beach is all uphill, and rooms desperately need to be updated. Buffet is expensive but the breakfast is fantastic

Very nice staff and friendly service in general. Rooms are ok and clean. The breakfast is too expensive for what it is. Rolls not fresh etc. The outdoor pool is not very clean. The indoor pool is ok.

We have now stayed at the beach hotel twice and were thrilled each time with the hotel itself, the service, the location and everything that goes with it! Family-run, lovingly and elegantly furnished, super neat, the breakfast is varied and delicious

The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is nice and large, so really great. Unfortunately, this year we had to switch to another hotel…. but for next year we will book again in good time !!!!!

By chance I was put up in this hotel and I am very happy about it. The stay at the Fontana Strandhotel was very nice. The room I had was clean and in a classic country house style, very comfortable

If you decide to stay in this hotel, then I recommend booking breakfast and a visit to the in-house restaurant "Horizont". The homemade jam is extremely tasty. I was even able to buy them on site

The breakfast is superb, with a lot of smoked fish. Every morning freshly made scrambled eggs with shrimps

We booked spontaneously and had great days in the historic hotel. We got an upgrade and had a great room with a sea view. The service was super nice and we felt very comfortable

Nice staff, great service, nice location, very close to the beach only a short walk about 100m maximum. The city center is also nearby and also the Baltic Sea thermal baths. Our daughter liked the loft bed best

We can have scrambled or fried eggs freshly prepared upon request. In the evenings, we sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy an Aperol or a beer. For us, the hotel is a place to relax. About 100 meters from the beach

Very nice location, in the restaurant upstairs there is a TV on which sports can be streamed if desired and there is a large selection of drinks. But the selection of food is not huge but it is very tasty

Very, very nice and attentive staff! I have rarely experienced something so nice. Beds very comfortable, even with down comforter and pillows. It was very quiet at night and we slept well

We've been coming to this hotel for several years now. We can completely unwind here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious

2 recommendations: I think would be nice also to consider more things for kids, in the pool and especially food. I mean breakfast ist really nice, but dinner doubt you can convince kids with such food such as seafood etc

there should be small child corner at dinner buffet, some pIzza, nuggets, frenchfries, rice, parika, gurken, etc

Were to eat at the Filou, good food and cakes can be eaten there. But it can take a while to get a seat.

Ein familiär geführtes TOP sauberes Hotel mit einer Hotelmannschaft, die sehr gerne hier arbeitet- das spricht für die Eigentümerfamilie, die stets vor Ort sind - höflich, zuvorkommend und absolut sympathisch mit vielen guten Tips für einen interessanten Urlaub

Die Zimmer waren ausreichend groß, in sehr gutem Zustand und sehr sauber, auch im Bad. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig, so gut wie kein Autoverkehr. Ich war im März hier hier, im Sommer wird es wohl lauter sein

Zimmerausstattung: Harte Matraze, kl. Schreibtisch, Sessel, Kühlschrank, Safe, ausreichend Schrankplatz, Wasserkocher. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

I came by just for a coffee at the terrace and it was quite dissappointing. I mean 5 star hotel and you get a cappuccino from an automat. Please, please, buy a proper machine and employ barista

We had a lovely suite that faced the Baltic Sea which was so wonderful to see from our room everyday. The hotel employees are very accommodating and very friendly. We look forward to our next trip there

So, the bed are wandering apart if you move across the border. The bathroom was great as well. The best thing about the hotel is the terrace where you can have breakfast looking directly towards the sea

I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview

10 minutes later I was cold and shown a room with unobstructed sea view. If hotels leverage different channels such as HRS, orbitz, expedia, etc

I go to the appartments since over 15 years, because it is quiet, very close to the beach and you can use the spa of the hotel. There are even a nice swimming pool and saunas in the basement

You can stay with 4 or more persons on the rooms. There are enough parking lots or park close for free, unloading in front of the appartments is no problem

A great hotel in a beautiful location! However, the shower is disastrous, the shower jet is so hard that it really hurts to shower. The mattresses are also very worn out

And the friendliness of the info mails, as well as the hotel owner really left a lot to be desired

We looked for and found a little break very spontaneously after our wedding. The journey was very easy and well signposted. The check-in was also problem-free. The prime location right on the beach is just beautiful

We stayed in the beach house for two days with a larger family group and also ate in the restaurant one evening. All in all, we felt very comfortable, especially the dinner with a self-selected menu was excellent

Amazing hotel! Very clean and huge rooms. Very friendly staff. Nice swimming pool and sauna. Nice view towards the ocean. Good restaurants close by. Any day preferable and will stay here again.

We checked in yesterday in the evening. Great service! Asked for an extra bed for my kid and besides the bed, the receptionist brought all sorts of extras including kids sized bath ropes and small pillows

cleaning was very good as well, but we run out for napkins, which were in the bathroom, and the cleaning forgot probably to put a new one. And parking could be for free. it’s not a citycenter and not a garage

Very beautiful place, good food, nice personal. The only thing, which we didn’t notice by booking, that there is no any Bar/refrigerator in the rooms

Reception came up with excuses but not solutions. One of the excuses was "House keeping came and knocked the door but you weren't in the room"
