Location is easy bus ride from main train station and convenient to start point for the Rhinesteig. Reception was very pleasant. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was just right. The nearby river promenade was just the spot for drinks before dinner at the Mexican restaurant across the street. The room was on the river side and street noise was a minor issue until midnight. It was an unusually warm sunny day and room was quite hot when we checked in. With open windows and the fan provided, it cooled off overnight. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would stay again but not on the street side.

My experience with this hotel rooms are not good at all. I got sick after staying 3 night in this hotel . Beds are really uncomfortable. Staff is good , location is also good .

Not the poshest of places but in a good location. Rooms were nice and staff kind and friendly. Coffee was a nice touch. We slept well. We enjoyed our stay

Having booked this via Booking dot com I then read some of the Google reviews which were confusing as there seemed to be 2 different hotels being described. My view is it’s a great location, rooms not huge but perfectly fine, I had a view of the Rhine! Seemed modern and clean with the rooms having everything I needed. Staff on reception were helpful and friendly. We didn’t have breakfast for the 2 days we were there as we had other places booked but it looked a traditional European breakfast and no one seemed unhappy with it. Is a good location in my view with a designated bike storage area. For the 2 nights we were there it was ideal.

In my opinion the hotel must have seen better days and is hoping for a make over. Great location though. Service and breakfast mediocre. Overall over priced.

Hardly any service. There is no lift. Even on the ground floor, you have to use 3-5 steps to reach the rooms. Breakfast is also too basic.

Hotel clean, staff friendly, location good. Room small, bathroom even smaller. Mattresses good and firm. Kettle (dusty and calcified) with free tea and coffee. Room facing the Rhine with balcony. Sounds like a good idea, but in hot weather it's actually a disaster: the sun beats down in. There is no air conditioning, so the rooms are 30 degrees or more. Open windows mean you feel like you're lying next to a busy road, including the smell of exhaust fumes. Hotel has winter duvets in the rooms. Fans only on request (also dusty). In my opinion, rooms like these are not worth renting in summer for that price.

Only eat here. A very delicious tart with tomatoes and goat cheese. The salad with mushrooms was also very good. In the courtyard it is very quiet.

A quiet place, very clean, ideal to lay down his suitcases for a few days. The staff is listening and understanding.
