A bit hidden next to a hotel. No reception staff, the key was in a safe deposit box, code sent via text message. Clean but noisy room. Only saw a female employee at the otherwise good breakfast.

A house with 90s charm, AfriCola at incredibly low prices, solid rooms, and a friendly boss who also treats you occasionally! You'll have a great stay here!

We were in Willingen, quite spontaneously, for a short trip of just one night and only booked the hotel room the day before our arrival. The code for contactless check-in arrived via email in good time before 3 p.m.
The location was great, very central and still quiet. Since the house is located on the "mountain", you had to drive up a hill to the parking lot.
There was a drinks fridge on the ground floor and breakfast room (nice and bright and sunny). Prices within limits (Pils 2€) and payable at breakfast or departure.

The house is getting a bit old and nothing is being done about the outside areas. The rooms are standard, there is no safe, no refrigerator and no minibar. A magnifying mirror is definitely missing in the bathroom. What we didn't like at all were baked rolls at breakfast - that's not possible. The argument was that the bakery no longer delivers. The house is relatively central and is surrounded by plenty of bakeries. You could really come up with something here. At the time of our stay there was a huge construction site here, the entrances were blocked, the parking spaces were inaccessible and we had to take a detour to get to the hotel, which was very difficult with suitcases. From 8 a.m. the whole house was shaken by construction noise. The hosts asked for their understanding. A little concession here would certainly have been helpful.

Arrived today. Room on the ground floor with a terrace and just wonderful. Clean, "without* mold in the bathroom!! Great! We will definitely come back here again. Thanks to the cleaning staff for making such accommodation possible for us! Room 12

Well-located small hotel in the middle of Willingen. Breakfast sufficient and tasty. Rooms need a bit of renovation here and there, but comfortable. Contact the host by email or telephone, which I didn't find so nice when I arrived. I would have been happy about a personal reception, but that's my opinion. You are very careful about the times when you arrive, as the door to the key safe was locked 10 minutes earlier. These are just small things on the whole, and the small hotel can be recommended without any problems.
