Reviews
Only thing I didn't like is parking price. 25 euro is too much.
Room: Clean and pleasant overall, but there was an unpleasant sewer smell in the room. You even have to pay for an extra pillow!? There was also some dark mold in the bathroom grout.
Common areas: The lobby was clean and stylish, but there was visible mold on the ceiling of our floor, which immediately made the place feel subpar.
Breakfast: A wide and varied selection, with something for everyone. However, not all ingredients seemed fresh. the salad and cucumber, for example, looked like they were from the day before.
Spa: Far too crowded, and the pools were cold (around 28°C). The saunas were great, if you managed to get in. There should really be a limit on how many people are allowed in the spa area at once. Also, there were quite a few heavily intoxicated guests at the pool area, which really affected the atmosphere.
Service: Overall, the service was good, but the staff at the pool bar and the spa reception were rather rude. However, the hotel front desk staff were friendly and professional, which balanced things out a bit.
Summary: Overall, this place deserves a maximum of 3 stars. After visiting twice, I can confidently say it doesn’t reach a higher standard.
A spacious hotel with comfortable beds and cozy rooms, perfectly located near the harbor and Rotermann Quarter full of shops and cafes.
The biggest highlight is the SPA area – several pools, saunas, jacuzzi, and even a pool bar where you can enjoy drinks right in the water. 🥂
Breakfast was tasty, with the fun option to make your own waffles and even grab some ice cream. 🍦 Service was professional and friendly throughout.
Highly recommended for a relaxing Tallinn stay!
Only minus side was with our room. There were 2 medium sized spiders walking around the walls and their webs, which i had to get rid of myself before we got to unpack our luggage.
Pool area is fine but would be nice to have a really Bubble bath - warm and jets/bubbles.
Very nice breakfast and very good service.
+ OK breakfast.
- Cleaning only on the fourth day, and very bad cleaning even then. You have go use the same towels for the rooms and the spa (for four days), so they're wet all the time.
When I was lying face down, she kept breathing directly onto my face from above, which was very uncomfortable — especially considering she seemed to be ill. If she really was sick, she shouldn’t have been working in the first place.
Before the massage, I specifically told the reception that I had certain issues with my back. They assured me that their therapists were professionals, but honestly, this experience was far from professional. I do not recommend it.
The pools were just okay — nothing special.”
While the hotel isn't perfect, the staff we encountered were consistently warm and helpful, which honestly made all the difference. The breakfast was fairly basic but perfectly adequate. All in all, we'd happily return.
The pool was also well kept and the saunas were very clean.
The location was also excellent. It was only about a ten minute walk to Old Town and only steps away from the harbor. Those looking to ferry to Helsinki would be in an excellent location. There was also lots of food options near by within a twenty minute walk.
The only bad I found is that extra pillows do cost extra and the bed was a little hard. But that said, for all the benefits this hotel offers, it’s a very small price to pay.
All in all, when I stay in Estonia again, I’ll definitely be looking into this hotel. The location is excellent and the staff are top notch. Anyone looking to stay near old town should definitely check this one out. The prices are relatively low for the location.
