The hotel is very well located making it easy to access many tourist sites from here.
I have an autoimmune condition and require a lot of fresh water to drink. We were very surprised that there is no water in the rooms and one is required to fetch water from a single water cooler in reception if you want water in the room. We were told that as the hotel is no longer 5* there is no water in the rooms...ver strange explanation.
Why bother have tea and coffee items in the room if there is no water provided?
There are not enough plugs in the rooms to charge electrical items and they are not easily accessible to someone with mobility or dexterity issues.
One person to manage all activities the entire breakfast room is not enough, and service suffers. She cannot reasonably sign in guests, replenish the breakfast, clear tables and maintain the coffee machine (which showed an error saying it needed a service!)
The room was ok, but you can hear noises from the street and from the rooms next door- was a bit awkward! Perhaps explore the installation of white noise machines? Think this would be a better solution than the cheap ear plugs in the dresser?
Charging extra for extra towels was also very unexpected - even for a 4, not a 5* hotel (as the person at reception was quick to remind us!)

My wife and I stayed here for the first week in September, visiting our daughter, who's an ex-pat living in Tallinn.
The hotel is very comfortable, with windows that actually open. This was helpful, as the air conditioning failed for most of our stay.
Our room was at the top of the stairs, which was unfortunate. The closer on the fire door was very strong, and made a loud noise every time that someone had opened it.
The hotel has a very nice lobby, with comfortable seating. There is also a small, comfortable bar. Now that the outside entrance is closed, it is used only by hotel guests.
The hotel's location is superb. It's at the edge of Old Town, yet close to most attractions and public transportation.
The complimentary breakfast is exceptional, with a wide variety of choices. Consider the offerings to be more brunch-like. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
This hotel would not meet the requirements for a five-star one -- probably four stars. However, the combination of the location and the breakfast add up to a solid five stars.

One of our best stays during our Northern Europe trip. Luxury, spacious and yet well priced room. Nice breakfast. Helpful front desk staff. Excellent location with easy walks to all major viewpoints and attractions, and easy to get Uber/Bolt from. Will not hesitate to return here!

Outstanding hotel. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in early June. This hotel has charm and character. Large, well appointed room with comfortable twin beds. Very helpful, attentive staff. Fantastic location. Close to the Old City center, easy walking distance, but far enough away that it is very quiet! Very close to both bus and tram lines, which makes it easy to explore the city. Excellent breakfast and service.

The hotel is a bit dated but is very central and easy to reach. The room was ok, the air conditioning was a bit loud, we hated to keep it low. When we enter the room there was a strange smell due to the fact that the air ci was off and the day was very warm. The breakfast is ok. There is no restaurant service.

Great location for an overall good hotel. Nice room but no view. Front desk quality service below what you would expect from 4 star hotel.

It's all about location, in old Town but with easy access with car, though parking can be a challenge.
Nice and kind receptionists.
The rest is to forget.
Standard room old with worn furniture, stuffy smell all the time and airconditioning not working. Windows can't be screened properly so plenty of light inside at early morning in summer. A deep renovation is needed.
Breakfast of very poor quality.
Bar serves only drinks, nothing to eat, nothing to nibble on.
Great potential but a lot to be improved: they call it "boutique hotel" but it's just a old hotel without personality and charme like a boutique hotel is supposed to be. The 4 stars they pretend to have are definitely not deserved.

Great location, rooms are bit small, but good quality though. No gym in the hotel. Breakfast is pretty decent. Although same menu everyday. Location is great, if you don’t mind some night time noise coming from club next door.
