Swiss Inn Plaza Hotel

A lovely stay at the Swiss Inn Pyramid Golf Resort. The rooms were comfortable, with beautiful views of the garden, swimming pool and golf course. The staff were always courteous and attentive. Food is also very nice. The resort had a nice balance of relaxation and amenities, making it a perfect base for exploring nearby attractions. A pleasant experience overall.

In our recent visit for Egypt tour a few days back we stayed here. This hotel is excellent and definitely value for money. Literally all facilities are available here. Besides the hotel is having a sprawling area to simply lose yourself in serenity and tranquility or just have fun with a glass of wine or hibiscus tea to watch the surroundings.

We enjoyed the huge delicious breakfast buffet. They omelet station was a nice bonus, but mostly the pastries are amazing.
Also every inch of the grounds are beautiful and lush.
The pool area was kept very clean and the seating area offers plenty of umbrellas for shade.
It would be nice to have a large water decanter for the pool area at the bar to stay hydrated.
And of course, the bell men, front desk, restaurant staff and cleaning crew are doing a great job all of the time.

Nice Hotel to stay and pass my working time in Egypt. I came usually 10days per month and I like the Hotel & services. The main advantage I see is there is NO mosquitos in the rooms like other Hotels in the area. I can sleep very well at night because is very quiet. Also the rate Hotel is very affordable good price.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a two-week business trip based on a friend's recommendation, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is nicely designed, with impressive architecture and a stunning garden. Its location next to a large golf course adds to the charm and serene atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to relax and unwind after a day of business meetings.

Despite not being a brand-new property, the hotel offers a comfortable stay. The cuisine in the hotel is good, with meals that are enjoyable and well-prepared. Having stayed at various hotels in Cairo, I can say that the food here is better than many other places I have tried, with no issues of food poisoning.

However, I did encounter a few inconveniences during my stay. The hotel's spa and gym are not located within the main building but in the adjacent Hilton hotel. This requires a walk of approximately 400 meters, which can be uncomfortable, especially in the heat. This setup was not clearly communicated by the staff, who, despite being polite and friendly, provided misleading information about the distance and accessibility.

The cleaning standards are okay, but not exceptional. I would rate hygiene seven out of ten. Additionally, some amenities are only provided upon request. Cotton buds and slippers were not available in the room unless specifically asked for, and for some reason, bathrobes were not provided at all. The furniture and facilities, while well-maintained, are not the latest, reflecting the hotel's age. Despite this, the garden and golf course are compelling reasons to consider returning.

Overall, while there are some areas for improvement, particularly regarding the clarity of information about amenities and cleanliness, the hotel's strengths in design, ambiance, and food quality make it a good option for visitors to Cairo. I would rate this hotel four stars out of five.

I would recommend this hotel for its relaxing environment and good food, but be prepared for some minor inconveniences related to the amenities. It was a pleasant stay for my business trip, providing a nice balance of work and relaxation.

This is my second time staying at Swiss Inn Hotel. The personnel, including the manager and workers, are fantastic. They are always smiling, welcoming, and happy to serve you, ensuring that you as a guest are satisfied. The hotel is fantastic with various facilities that will definitely make your stay enjoyable.

Really nice resort located outside the busy city.

When we arrived to check-in we were given some fresh squeezed guava juice as a welcome drink and a complimentary upgrade to one of their suite rooms.

Was very impressed with the room. It was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious; had 2 bathrooms and a nice living room. Staff was super friendly.

The pastries offered during the continental breakfast were sooo good!

The cherry on top for me was there was a small McDonald's located outside the Dream Land Club (It looked like a sports complex for kids); about a 5 minute walk from the resort. Sometimes you just really want a cheap trash burger and that filled the craving perfectly. Also, Egyptian McDonald's are so much more affordable than Canadian ones! Big Mac meal was less than $5CAD.

Really enjoyed our entire stay. While we were there we saw at least 3 wedding receptions.
