Horus House Hotel in Cairo

Old fashion hotel. You feel like you travel on time machine. Rooms with numbers 100 renew. All others I dated. Be prepared there is smoking areas inside. But hotel workers was so nice. The prices really cheap. And location is perfect. You are in the middle of Zamalek. Down the street a lot of restaurants. Don't afraid to try shawarma. And metro station 5 minutes away. Ready to come again

I stayed there for a full week, very clean rooms, friendly staff, and superb 👌 location.

I am giving the rooms 4 stars because the rooms feels to be small, but it was way better than what I expected.

My experience here has been more than positive. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The position of the hotel is a big plus : it is close enough to the city centre but it is situated in a nice quiet street in Zamalek. The rates are good and you definitely get value for your money. I highly recommend it 👌.

We booked a superior room and stayed here for two weeks so far. Our room is very clean, spacious and the bed is very comfortable. AC works perfectly and the shower is strong.

This place is a comfortable hotel where you feel at home. All the staff are great and they are happy to help you with anything :)

The lobby area has comfy seating to chill out with some food or some beer. My boyfriend highly recommends the 50egp breakfast. It's a very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and cosy.

The location is the best part about the hotel also. OK its located on the 4th floor of a building but you have friendly doormen downstairs and there is an elevator. Also there are some little shops next door to the hotel to get juice or cigarettes.

The location is the best because you are within 2 min walk of many coffee shops and food places , shopping centre, pub 28, college. Etc! You can get anything you want within 2 mins.

Best hotel ever

It is a very old hotel, but they are (little by little) modernizing, rooms are quite clean and the staff are very nice and friendly.
I was there for work and I repeat 10 times.
The streets around are safe enought and you can have nice walks.

Simple small hotel with excellent service in reception and also by restaurant. We had a superior room which was very nice, clean and modern. Air conditioning made temperature perfect even in very hot days. Location is good, not far from Nile and city center. Good place to stay for its price. I loved that there was a book-shelf also in lobby with some good books to read.
