Om Kolthoom Hotel

So far it's my favorite hotel in Cairo. It was very clean and tidy. The view was amazing. We stayed for a day and we had access to the pool and gym which is usually limited for the very short stays in other places. We requested an extra cover and a hair dryer and they gladly provided them. The staff are very kind and cheerful whether the receptionist Mahmoud, the 2 ladies from the house keeping or the staff at the buffet. It's definitely value for money.
I was a bit sad when I arrived because I requested an early check-in. They said it depends on the availability once you arrive. So when I arrived I made the same requet and I was told they would check the room and get back to me but I waited an hour without a reply so I went to check again and they asked me to wait for another 10 mins. If they had told me from the begging that it would take more than an hour I would have had breakfast early in the café near by because I'd just returned from a 12 hrs long road trip. Other than that every thing was absolutely perfect.

Well there is one area in Cairo to stay and Om Kolthoorm is the best value for money you can get. The staff is soooo friendly and they will out of there way for you. We are a family of 8, and we took 4 rooms all great. Breakfast was fantastic and a great variety for a continental. You could order eggs as you wanted them, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. The 2 restaurants outside reception are Brilliant and are open 24/7. WE WILL BE BACK

we have been stayed here for 5 days and it was pure pleasure all time. hotel is very vintage decorated. room was clean. food was delicious. I should give big credits to staff there. all of them are great and super friendly all the time. many thanks to Khaled, Halil, Fatih, taboon cafe employee and car parking guy Rama which makes our holidays much better.

My stay as usual at this hotel…

The shower had a very weak water flow. They charged me fifty dollars to let me stay in the hotel until five o'clock.

I had the privilege to stay on this hotel, the rooms are quite old and they need urgently a renovation! However the size of the room is amazing, the location is very convenient, but the best is the staff!

After the service they provide I forgot about the old rooms, all the staff are super friendly starting with the 2 people in the entrance, all the staff on the reception (specially Mootaz) thank you Mootaz! And also a special recognition for the guy from the buffet breakfast (I think he is the manager I forgot his name, he’s using glasses).

Thank you all the staff for making my stay in this hotel unforgettable!
