Grand Ocean El Sokhna Hotel

Grand Ocean Hotel is a peaceful place with a beautiful greenery landscape. It feels like a true tourist resort, combining wide green areas with stunning sea views. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it perfect for anyone looking to unwind. There are also many enjoyable activities available, which adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend visiting this hotel — it’s definitely worth it!

Pros
- The hotel is about 1.5 hours from Cairo.
- Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and friendly smiles.
- The hotel has a parking area conveniently located right next to the main entrance, and the bellman was already there to help us with our bags.
- Check-in was completed in less than five minutes, which was very efficient.
- Our room was spacious and had an amazing view.
- The beach was absolutely wonderful, sandy with a lovely green area. But you will need a water shoes for safety, We truly enjoyed spending time there. A golf cart was available to take us there in about three minutes.

- The food tasted great; however, there wasn’t much variety due to the low number of guests.

- Special thanks to all the restaurant staff, they were also wonderful, Mr. Hisham, Mohammed, and the rest of the team. I’m really sorry I don’t remember all the names, but they all have excellent communication skills and made us feel completely at home, They clearly love their work and do their best to make every guest happy.

- We’d also like to thank Jana from the animation team for her friendly attitude.

Cons
- On our second night, we were informed that because of the low occupancy in October, both breakfast and dinner plan were changed to a set menu instead of an open buffet, We completely understand this decision, but it would have been better to be informed about this possibility during the reservation phase.

- During checkout with Mrs. Sherihan, unfortunately, she was not smiling and didn’t ask about our feedback or whether we would like to return. That was a bit disappointing given the otherwise pleasant experience.

Team treat you as you are one of family. Amazing. They will make you feel that you are the owner of the hotel thank Mr mohamed and Mr Amr and the kind chief of the restaurant for your kind care and hospitality. They make me and my family so happy. The best hotel is sokhna by my 20 y visiting all hotel there.

Came here to attend a wedding and stayed at the resort.

Location/property: about 2 hours from Cairo, the property is vast, plenty of pools at the hotel (5 or more) there is also a full children area. The pools are heated -starting December which was a tad bit disappointing as the water was so cold when we went we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful large pools. There are multiple sport spaces. They also have carts that can drive you around upon request as it’s such a large property.

Food: multiple options for both dinner and breakfast.
Rooms: they were clean, the beds were comfortable. Everything you need was available in the room. The only issue in the room was the flies. There were plenty and no matter how hard we tried to get rid of them somehow they made their way into the room

Service: checkin and out was easy. I also had the laundry service. Clothes were perfectly pressed and delivered back in a timely manner. They also booked us a shuttle back to the airport. The only concern was the early morning room service knocks. We couldn’t find the do no disturb sign in our room so having sleep interrupted early morning wasn’t fun twice.

Entertainment. Nightly entertainment was disappointing. There was a show that started at 10 it was suppose to karaoke as advised to us by the entertainment team. By 10:26pm they wrapped up. There wasn’t much to do at night. There is a cafe that is open late.

Beach: we really enjoyed lounging on the beach chairs by the water. There is a cafe right there to get afternoon snacks and drinks. There were a lot of Rocks, so highly recommend wearing water shoes.

Very nice place with wonderful views, good food, and exceptional customer service.

It’s not our first time there but what truly stood out is the way the managers handled our feedback with utmost professionalism and dedication.

Special thanks to the management of the hotel, Mr. Tamer Hassan & Mr. Abdulhameed made sure our stay is convenient and pleasant.

Mr. Tamer has been with us throughout the process and offered us several complimentary gifts to make up for the misunderstanding that has happened. They even made us a special meal that he overviewed himself to ensure everything is on point.

They truly listen and make sure all your issues are solved and you’re satisfied with the service offered.

Wonderful stay and amazing team!

Generally the services was very good, the min. level of hospitality was provided except for dining area the staff was unprofessional in dealing with the guests, rooms were clean with good sizing housekeeping service was good, the value against services was ok, pools were cleaned, and beach was green, generally it was a good experience, food was not perfect with no variety of dishes, also the night activities was very limited for kids.

What an amazing team, they are super friendly and active , i really enjoyed every moment and special thanks to Salma ,yasmine, omar, gehad and aya keep it up team you are great and you are doing wonderful work
