Sweet hotel, all staff are friendly, room was clean, good housekeeping, food has excellent test. I will come again

I stayed there once and paid an arm and a leg, not a good value for the money especially with the poor level of the place. nowadays I am staying in a humble motel like place called Mandara Hotel next to Mandara train station, it is for egp 80/night and much better than this one.

Cheap , helpful housekeeping , in the center of the city near the public markets like (Elmanshia - Zanket Elseitat) , near the sea ( not viewing the sea ) , the food is good fare for money

The rest is terrible, but worth its money. The soundproofing is absent and this is the main flaw, especially that this area is big time noisy Old

Excellent value for money for this little gem of a hotel. The entrance is very unpretentious at a narrow street near a Greek church. Yet the rooms are spotlessly clean . Towels are delivered in sealed plastic cases. There was warm welcome and genuine effort to help from the hotel staff. It's start first from the best communication and help from Mr. Mena very friendly and helpful person. 13th floor view on the city and part of the Mediterranean Sea, clean and huge space with very great value. I really recommend for the location and everything. Thank you Alexander the Great Hotel.

This inexpensive hotel has a main building with three stories and an annex building nearby with ten units in an 18-floor building. Check-in is fast and easy at the front desk. For 26$ per night, it's a great deal in Alexandria! You'll get a clean spacious room - most probably the largest hotel room you've ever been to :) - with a comfortable bed. The service was friendly but want to remind that in egypt the expensive taxes is not included on booking so be prepare with extra money. I came here for swimming pool, but not feeling fascinated about it plus it closed during night. Meanwhile other equipped gym, cinema & sauna were closed.

Very Good location, some rooms have a very nice view for both montazah Palace and the sea. Pool is OK. Rooms are good too. Cleanness is not 5 stars specially the balconies. Breakfast is great with wide variety. Receptionists are not professional front desk receptionist.

This place is little deep from the sea, but by walking around 10 mins u will get a beautiful view of the sea.

We didn't try the hotel rooms, we just went for quick lunch, the place is old but not historical, the view is amazing full sea view and the famous stately bridge, they offer very old fine dining experience 😀, they have rich menu and offer delicious food, we tried several items and all was fantastic. The experience is nice, and it's typical Alexandria 30 years ago.

The five-star rating is only there for the service. The receptionists are very friendly and understanding. They offer the best service and way of handling. The place may need to be renovated but you pay for where you stay so it isn't a big deal. The bathroom has a heater and a sea view, yeah. The beds are not all comfortable and you might need to bring your sheets with you to ensure maximum hygiene...

My best place in Alexandria, you can enjoy alone or with family, find a quiet place to sit whether it's a Cafe like fishawy or cilantro , enjoy your time to watch movies in plaza cinema , or enter kids planet (I don't remember it's name but a good playground for both children and grown ups including hicking game, balling and video games) you can also choose to go to adults playground where to find...

Average stay, but it's too noisy: don't stay there on weekends or you'll suffer the loud music in the hotel and in the nearby club if there's a wedding.

Very kind people, quiet place, but the rooms are equipped from a slight distance of time, so more care to validity of bathroom equipments, air conditioner, light system, floor smell will be helpful.

Rooms are fine..not the most prestigious..yet are ok in regards to the cost of it. You might enjoy the lagoon view as well. Make sure that the AC is working properly in the room. Last but not least the working group is very friendly and helpful :))

Nice spot in Sahel. Restaurant selection is decent, but it was less crowded than I expected for the weekend. Beware a few places do not allow kids... The entrance to the place really needs some work especially after the changes to the road outside... It's like they want to keep this place a secret or something :)

I was at the resturant there, which is a good one compared to the resturants in North coast in Egypt. As this is a sea side place, caters for temporary guest the food was good. Can't say that for the service.
