Where to stay in Alexandria

Very old hotel, needs a lot of refreshments but the employees are really making a difference. The biggest problem is the top floor dining room for breakfast with only 5 elevators. Rooms are not bad and bathrooms need renovation.

I had an amazing experience at Sheraton Montazah. The location is perfect, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything during my stay was flawless. Hospitality from the parking to the reception and during the stay was so warm. Housekeeping and many request can take sometime due to the high season occupation with a little amount of staff. I suggest increasing the manpower during high season for a complete perfect stay.

Perfect get away destination for families and couples, staff are very helpful and friendly food quality is super - especially a las carte menu. They can get overwhelmed during high season. But a great over all experience that I am willing to repeat anytime.

Every time I come to Alexandria, I stay at the Four Seasons Hotel, which is on the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Now the breakfast has been changed to outdoor dishes that are not fresh, and the experience has become worse.

Decent hotel with vintage theme, rooms in higher levels can suffer from AC chillers sound, AC was generally old but works just fine. Maybe being a historic building makes it hard to maintain all high tech requirements of modern hotels but overall a decent place. There is a bar and a restaurant and a night club. You can buy imported alcohol in the bar, but it is very expensive. Whiskey or foreign rum for a glass is 1100 pounds. There is no swimming pool or spa. Suitable for a stay of several days.
