Alexander the Great Hotel - Alexotel in Alexandria

Nice apartaments with very Nice owner. The service is very basic...

Its nice and clean. But its not for spending time in the room. The stuff is friendly the location can be better. It was economical as well. If I visit Alexandria again, I would stay there again.

Really really really POOR wifi !!!!!!even connected but doesn’t work at all(personal internet also has bad connections in the room). Also there is ants invasion, dozens of ants next to the bed. Except those, everything is fine.

At first, the hotel was not very easy to find, but once I reached the check-in desk, I was warmly welcomed by the very friendly Mr. Mina, who offered me an upgrade from the originally booked hotel. Although I arrived two hours before the scheduled check-in time, I was given a room without any problem.

"Room" is an understatement—it was a very spacious apartment with a lounge area, a large bedroom, and a bathroom. Two air conditioning units easily maintained the desired temperature, and the internet was fast enough for remote work. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the area is very quiet.

Breakfast was delicious and included an omelet, fruit, cheese, vegetables, juice, and a selection of bread—more than enough. Mr. Mina was happy to answer all my questions, and I’m very glad I chose this hotel. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in an apartment on the 16th floor, it was a studio with 3 beds. Clean apartment, has everything you need. The window offers a magnificent view of Alexandria. Nearby there are shops, cafes, benches, attractions. There is an electric kettle, microwave, refrigerator. We lacked some kind of electric stove to cook breakfast ourselves. Breakfast was taken for an extra fee - standard for Egypt.

It was a clean and affordable hotel close to the center. The staff was helpful in every way. The church next door was very beautiful.

When I booked the room, I booked a two-bedroom room. However, when I arrived, I found that there was only one room with three beds. I communicated with Ctrip for a long time in the middle of the night. I suggest that you consider carefully when booking a room in the future.

The first hotel I stayed in Egypt was also the first hotel in Alexandria. The environment and hygiene were very good. It was very close to the beach and the Alexandria Library was very close.

The apartment is bright and clean.

Two large beds, clean bed linen. The door in the bathroom creaked and clicked loudly.
