Alexander The Great Hotel

No wifi in the room.

Everything goes down to the basics.

Unimpressive breakfast only available at 8:50AM though said to be 8:30AM.

I recently had a horrendous experience at the hotel. My attempts to contact the reservation desk multiple times before arriving were futile, as no one answered the phone. Upon arriving at the hotel at approximately 6:15 am, I found the receptionist deeply asleep on the couch in a camera blind spot. I repeatedly said "Hi" loudly over ten times with no response. Worried about his well-being, I approached him and heard him snoring.

Despite my aversion to physical touch, I eventually shook him to wake him up and inquire about room availability. When he finally woke up, I apologized for disturbing his sleep and politely asked about my request. His response was to "wait for maybe half an hour so I can check this in the system." I asked if it could be checked immediately, and he reluctantly admitted it was possible but insisted I wait until he woke up fully , after he went back to sleep

Frustrated and angry, I left the hotel without securing a room. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service is unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying at Alexander the great hotel.
