The food in the restaurant is not good, and I had diarrhea after eating.
As an old hotel, it is really unacceptable...
The only thing I can praise is the scenery, which is really beautiful. This is probably the best scenery in Egypt.
The overall cost performance is quite low, but it is indeed the best in Egypt, because the overall accommodation level in Egypt can be said to be infinitely low.
The shower in the bathroom is really useless. The bathtub is large and suitable for bathing, but there is no shower curtain. After showering, the floor is full of splashed water.
The hotel has a guided tour of the suites where Agatha and Churchill once stayed at 4 pm, which lasts about half an hour. Guests staying in the hotel can participate for free. Check with the front desk in advance whether there is a tour on the day.
I can't help feeling how much effort goes into maintaining the hotel's facilities, including the garden. Moreover, as an attention to detail, towels in the room are embroidered with the hotel logo, and the cotton package containing the hair dryer is also embroidered with "Wonderful hair begins with a little wind" . I would like to express my respect to all the people who have continued to put such attention to detail into their work!
I would highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to visiting again in the near future!
We celebrated our wedding at the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, and words can’t capture the truly exceptional experience we had. From start to finish, every moment was perfectly orchestrated, all thanks to the incredible management and staff who left no detail overlooked. The food was simply outstanding, the attention to detail was remarkable, and we felt pampered in every possible way.
There was a brief moment of nerves before the ceremony, and then, out of nowhere, a kind woman approached us with a calming presence that immediately put us at ease. We later discovered she was the head of the spa, and we were treated to an unforgettable experience there the next day that was simply perfect.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Selim for his brilliant management and to Mr. Nagy, whose dedication and unique approach made this wedding possible—it wouldn’t have happened without him. We also extend our gratitude to Mr. Fathi and the reservations team, who handled every detail flawlessly. Every staff member made our guests feel at home, providing an unforgettable experience that we and our guests will treasure forever.
