The property is very clean — my room and all common areas were spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful, with smooth check-in and check-out, and the concierge provided useful advice on tours and transport. Breakfast was great despite limited options; everything tasted fresh and delicious, and they changed one or two items daily to keep it varied.
For our luck, the summer weather during our 5-day stay was surprisingly pleasant — cloudy and comfortable, which made sightseeing much easier. On our visit to the Valley of the Kings, we didn’t have any sun for the whole morning, which was a big plus.
Overall, Citymax Hotel Aswan delivers excellent service, cleanliness, and a perfect location — I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Aswan.
Breakfast good for nationals. Ok for foreigners. Needs proper shai and brewed coffee.
Rooms aimed for style rather than function. Too dark the lighting. Hard to work out the light switches. Fridge did not work properly. Glass shelf just over the kettle, I smashed my face into. Just grazed.
