Hostels in Luxor

Beautiful palace with free open access to visitors. There is a dress code but honestly if you are and look as a tourist don't worry about it. There is a restaurant at the backyard and indoors (gourmet). We visited the bar indoors where we had excellent cocktails with a light classic music.

This hotel is incredibly charming with an amazing garden and beautiful historic rooms. Though showing some signs of wear. The outdoor pool was perfect for cooling down after a long day of tours and the front terrace has a sunset view over the Nile. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. It was by far the best meal of the day. The staff were friendly and courteous.

A beautiful, beautiful hotel With so much history and fantastic gardens. The pool is so relaxing and the rooms fantastic!! No gym or spa but it doesn't need it, it's beauty is in its authenticity The only improvement I could suggest is they have a better look out on the pool for placing orders..... I was often waving at staff for ages before they noticed I wanted an order

The hotel is amazing and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure guests are happy. Everyone is very polite and eager to help in any way. The restaurants and gardens are beautiful and a nice place to relax from the noise of the city. The rooms are also beautiful with attention to detail.

The room and bathroom are clean, and the service is very warm. The hotel has a 24-hour check-in. When I arrived at 10 am, the room was ready for me to check in. My flight was in the evening, and the owner also offered to extend my flight time to the airport for free. Thank you very much 🙏 The prices of the hot air balloon and airport transfer they booked were reasonable!

Clean and Comfortable for a good price. Central location a quick walk to Luxor temple/train station/boats/etc. AND The staff is the best here: every person goes out of their way to make your trip. Can’t wait to be back.

Venus hostels is a family hotel very central to the luxor museum and souq. Breakfast was great, I particularly liked the falafel and even gave us more when asked. We also did late check out for free which was much appreciated after a long day visiting the West bank. The also arranged a taxi for us at a good price to visit the west side. Very good money value, well located nearby the Luxor temple, the market and railway. The service was very good, a good breakfast included, and they let me rest in a room after check out before my night train to Aswan. Not a luxurious hotel but a very good deal in Luxor.

Hassan is a very hospitable host. He wants to make sure you are always at ease by sharing a cup a tea or water. The hotel is always open 24/7, nice for late arrivals, and they are quiet friendly. It is located in the center of Luxor nearby the temple and train station by walking distance. Many shops and activities nearby. Absolutely perfect location and the staff is incredibly helpful with everything you need: Tours, drivers, cheap incrdible food, atm, temple info, everything. Rooms are clean and neat, with all the amenities. Really good experience in Egypt. As a solo traveller that has been to more than 100 hostels all over the world, I can definitely recommend it as a really great place in luxor.

It's close to the station, but the road to the hotel is not well-maintained (this is true throughout Egypt), so if you have large luggage, it might be better to take a taxi. The hotel will arrange anything, including felucca, balloon, and transfer to the ruins. I had already booked the balloon and transfer to the ruins, so they arranged the felucca, but the time... I think the time was a little early...

Luxor. The hotel is not good. The facilities are old. The staff seems to be part-time workers. They seem to be obsessed with making money. I got a job because there were no jobs. The location was okay.

SHADY Hotel goves me a unique experience. First, the staff and the manager is really kind and helpful, they are always willing to help you. However in my room, the toilet flush is not working. But i recommend this hotel for people who want a cheap hotel to stay in Luxor
