Hotels with pool in Luxor

After a stay of 14 days with a group in this great place I am definately coming back with my husband and daughters! Many thanks to the lovely Rovena from the reception, the always friendly people from the restaurant, swimming pool, spa, gardeners and not to forget, the man who took care of our rooms every day

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the overall service was efficient and smooth. The facilities were good, and everything worked as expected, making it a reliable choice for our overnight stay

Beautiful resort, located on a small island just outside Luxor. We had a family room, which were two interconnect rooms. 3 pools, of which one is (slightly) heated

We loved spending time there, and the pool staff was always attentive, professional and happy to accommodate any request. We also tried the laundry service which was excellent, fast and very convenient

A special mention to Abdu, who works at the spa and is genuinely friendly and great at what he does. The staff working around the pool was also lovely and added so much to the overall atmosphere

We were there in winter, the unheated pools are too cold to swim then. Small things for improvements. Bathrooms slightly outdated and needs some small fixes

Very nice hotel. Can see the nile river from my room. Staffs were very nice. Especially the young men who can speak a little Chinese, he is super friendly and always giving you a smile whenever he sees you.

Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough

Beautiful rooms, lovely pool and area right next to Nile. Good service. HOWEVER the room I was in had a clogged sink and my shower did not work. The knobs fell off. Was only there one night so I didn't raise a fuss

Customer Service is outstanding. Location is convenience and close to stores and attractions. Strongly recommended this hotel. We were very happy to stay in this hotel

Nice hotel with quaint rooms and the service was friendly. We had dinner here and the food was okay, but it was nice to sit by the pool and have a few drinks.

We’ve been before in Egypt ( Luxor , Sharm-El-Sheikh) and I should say that Steingenberger meets every point about our expectation! The hotel has a beautiful interior, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely pool and amazing view of the river Nile ! We’ve dined in Italian and Lebanese restaurants, food and service were great

The staff here are incredibly warm and professional. They were always ready to help with anything I needed, from local recommendations to making sure I had the perfect setting for sunrise shots

Room service came every day to make the bed, tidy up, and provide new towels and water, but there was no replenishment of the shampoo and bathroom amenities, even though they were 30ml

The room was a bit different from what I saw in the photos; it was clean and tidy, but overall, nothing in the hotel is new or modern: a small 24-inch old TV, a very old hairdryer, and a bathtub shower with years of usage stains on it—of course, except for the lobby, which is almost chic and modern

The grounds were so beautiful and right next to the Nike I felt very Zen. It’s right next to the Nile which invigorates the soul. Not to mention the clean ad refreshing pools

stunning classical Chinese garden, famous for its unique rock formations that resemble lions. The labyrinth of rocks creates an intriguing, peaceful atmosphere where visitors can explore hidden paths and quiet corners

It was so close to all the sights Luxor and Karnak temple the museums. The breakfast spread was amazing , I ate very well. Enjoyed the great variety and abundance as well as the omelette station

The room was a bit old, but the balcony view was great. You could watch hot air balloons in the morning across the way. The front desk manager was very kind and helped us with a few issues

I enjoyed the fresh baked Egyptian bread. The restaurants the Italian one the food was delicious and very affordable. You can walk around the gardens before or after dinner

A massive shout out to Nesma who was soo helpful when my credits/ units ran out but I didn’t know pointed me to the Voda phone shop which got me up and running again

Its the best hotel in Luxor, the service is great, the staff is very professional and helpful. Everyone in the hotel is very welcoming. The overall stay was perfect and i really enjoyed my time there

I am loving it. Currently threre! The manager and his staff are so professional. I am sure that i will come again. Prices are reasonable and you feel really welcomed. I love it! A++

I didn’t use the pool, but the area looks very nice with lounge chairs and very beautifully landscaped with palm trees. The hotel restaurant also has a decent-sized menu

I ordered the tuna sandwich, the veggie pizza and the tomato soup and all were excellent! The breakfast included with the room is pretty good also- omelette, basket of pastries, salad, fruit, yogurt, and waffles! They also have some great shopping in the lobby- visit Aladdin’s Lamp jewelry shop, really nice and beautiful jewelry (not the junk you see in most of the markets) with fantastic prices! ...

I also really liked the convenience of the taxi service so you don't have to worry about finding transportation and I liked the convenience of the gift shops which are actually very much more affordable than outside of the hotel

I didn't like the first room without views they changed it as soon as I told them and this made me so happy. The food was so yummy and they were ready to help with whatever we wished for

The hotel is beautiful, clean with good facilities and beautiful views from the garden, pool area, boat restaurant, sultan restaurant etc

It is close to many public amenities you'd need as well but the front desk staff are unnecessarily too serious that it was discomforting. There was no need for the robotic reactions. They have weird pool rules as well

The rest is very good, nice staff, food, swimming pools, rooms, bed, everything

Good location. Near to Luxor Temple, bus station and train station. Breakfast was good. A lot of choices.

Fantastic location just 10 minutes walking distance from Luxor temple. The hotel has beautiful gardens that lead down to the Nile

For if you want a quiet place on the east bank, close to the ferry, clean, great bed, Nile view room means sun on the balcony, great pool, average breakfast.. good price/quality..

Great location to major attractions and restaurants. Aly (manager), GiGi, and Badwin took great care of us the entire time. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Food at restaurant out of this world amazing

If you’re looking for a 5 star resort, this is not the place for you. But for a midprice hotel, this place is fantastic! Comfortable room, nice pool area, great location

Very nice hotel in a great location on the East Bank. Friendly and helpful staff, great pool, nice spacious rooms with many Nile views

The restaurant food is decent and caters to the tourist palette (if you are after delicious, authentic food best to go into the city centre). We also visited the spa and had a salt treatment and full body massage

But the staff was pleasant, they let us check in to our room early, and they stored our bags for us on our getaway day until we were done exploring. We were quite pleased with our stay here!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and ours opened out onto a large balcony with fantastic views over the Nile — a real highlight and a beautiful way to start and end the day

While the interior design is a little dated in places, this is more than made up for by the kindness, professionalism and generosity of the staff

We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel during our stay, so can’t comment on the food, but there are numerous outlets on site, giving guests plenty of choice

Both of them genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had a special experience from the very start

Hands down, the best place to stay in Luxor. Modern and up to date with the best view of the Nile. Two swimming pools, three unique high quality restaurants and a beautiful spa and infinity pool overlooking the Nile

The level of service was also exceptional - especially at reception, the restaurants (both within the hotel and outside by the pool area) and the pool area itself

The staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I like the spa, thermal area and infinity heated pool, which was the most relaxing experience

had an early flight and was able to get takeaway breakfast at around 5 am. Book it you won’t regret it Worth every penny

The hotel's location is great; you can catch a boat just across the street, and it's only a few hundred meters walk to the temple. The hotel's internal landscaping is very well done, and the garden is beautiful

The hotel is in the perfect location, face to Nile river， working distance to the Temple of Luxor, very convenient, The hotel is clean, the garden is beautiful, the people in the hotel are very friendly

The downsides are that the facilities are very old, it didn't feel very clean, the breakfast selection was quite limited, and there wasn't much in the way of service

The pool is beautiful as is the courtyard. The thing that really sets this place above the competition is the friendly and helpful staff. They are all wonderful and fun to talk to and are a big help when needed

Cannot recommend this place enough. This was my 3rd time to Luxor and this was by far the best place to stay. Also the food in the upstairs restaurant (along with it's views) are the best I've had in Luxor

Went here for dinner with my tour group. Excellent staff, great scenic views, and probablly one of the best meals we had in Egypt.

The location is perfectly located on the quiet side of the Nile but the local ferry to get to the other side is 100meters out the door, costs 1 Egyptian pound and leaves every 5-10minutes

After spending the past 140 days driving from Cape Town South Africa up to Cairo Egypt, this has been the best place I have stayed and the only review I will write

Omar, the tour guide organized by Al Moudira, was truly the highlight of our entire trip to Egypt. He picked us up in Aswan and drove us to Luxor, stopping along the way at Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna

Each stop was thoughtfully paced and incredibly informative, and his storytelling brought the history to life in a way that felt personal and engaging rather than scripted

The food is excellent! The location is a bit isolated, so it's best for a quiet escape. Would make a great wedding or party venue as well

He also took us to a fantastic spot in Luxor for lunch, which was the perfect break after a full morning of exploring

Nice time in a cosy place. Perfect staff, perfect breakfast, perfect location. Just the condition of the bathroom and swimming pool needs to be fixed! Anyway, well spent money :)

The location is better than many other options as it is closer to the Nile, not far from the interesting places but it is quieter than the very centre. People there are very welcoming

Nice hotel to stay with family. This is an old building, close to the Nile and tourist places. To get hot water you need to open the tap and wait for more than 10 minutes. Breakfast and room service were good

Rooms were clean and well kept. The rooftop pool was a great lounge area at night . Awesome view of the temple and avenue of the sphinx!

Rooms were clean enough and staff were friendly, alarmed that most fire doors were propped open Breakfast was very average with many of the components being left in their dishes overnight The rooftop pool looked very inviting and there was a great view from there

I was perhaps lucky with a single-use room, but it was absolutely fine with loo paper and hot water in the bathroom, and great balcony -- yes you could see your neighbours, and so what? -- overlooking the temples and the Nile

The owner and staff were beyond welcoming—I was taken on a personal tour of the area by the owner, including hearing stories about his family's life in the area over generations and having what I think were freshly picked olives from a tree we passed

I enjoyed breakfast indoors and in the courtyard, but I’m sure you could also take it up to the roof terrace for a great view over the town & Nile—I simply didn’t feel like climbing all those stairs first thing in the morning, but did head up there some evenings for nighttime views, and once at sunrise to watch the hot air balloons parade across

He took me to a high-quality cotton store, where (even if he did get a % cut) I saw scarves being hand-made and yarn being spun, and bought 2 gorgeous scarves for $30, cheaper than I'd get similar quality back home

It is a 3 star hotel but it was well worth our money. Clean, plenty of warm water, spacious rooms/apartments, comfortable beds, friendly, polite and very helpful staff. Excellent location on the west bank

He warned me about common local scams, recommended what's worth seeing, and personally walked me to the ferry so that I reach it without getting harassed away by motorboat/felucca owners

Close to the ferry, right accross from Luxor temple, and close the main attractions in the west bank. This deserves an excellent review for us. This is still a 3 star hotel, though

The venue on the Nile, the staff is kind , polite , caring , the food is delicious and fresh , the whole day cleaning service is perfect. I really enjoy my time at New Pola Hotel

The hotel was clean and not far Karnak and Luxor Temples. They also booked a tour of The Valley Of The Kings for a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

Rooms are fairly good size. Hot water. AC works.luggage storage after chk out.water 15 pounds, coke small 20 pounds EGP. No breakfast. No coffee/ tea.

I was a bit hesitant to book the room in this hotel but my god I was surprised. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The hotel is the best budget hotel in Cairo. You can boo it without any hesitation

Basic hotel with a good location over looking the Nile. Rooms basic and had to ask for everything: towels, cleaning etc. Room cleaning did not always happen despite us asking

I had to change my travel plans at short notice and he helped me to book flights and coordinate an airport transfer. I'm really grateful foe their assistance and will definitely stay here again if I return to Luxor

Great experience for a fair price, good for students like us but as well couples or families. El masela Hotel is a beautiful place with a stunning view on the Nile from the roof top as well as our room‘s balcony

The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. I arrived quite early by train, around 9 AM, and she was incredibly accommodating, offering an early check-in after just a 40-minute wait for the room to be prepared

Getting a taxi to attractions on the East Bank is easy and costs around 50 EGP. The surroundings are lovely, and you can even watch hot air balloons from the terrace!
