I also tried the Japanese restaurant and it didn’t disappoint! The rooms are very clean and the beds were soft and comfortable but my absolute favorite thing has to be the view it was breathtaking!! The room service was very fast, the staff was impressive they helped with everything from getting medication I forgot to pack to booking a hot air balloon

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonesta with a great view over the Nile from our balcony. Two highlights of our room was watching the hot air balloons in the morning and the mountains lighting up at night

Very nice place with great view and friendly staff. All amenities including KFC is within walking distance. Very close to the magnificent Luxor Temple. Book early to get cheap price.

The hotel is situated close to all facilities with tour operators generally offering pick up and drop off, which we found worked well

The restaurant food is decent and caters to the tourist palette (if you are after delicious, authentic food best to go into the city centre). We also visited the spa and had a salt treatment and full body massage

But the staff was pleasant, they let us check in to our room early, and they stored our bags for us on our getaway day until we were done exploring. We were quite pleased with our stay here!

We dropped in for some refreshments at two different locations. First, after a stroll about the gardens - we stopped at the poolside cafe to have some beer

The life guard made sure we had comfortable sun beds and positioned the sun umbrellas so that we could even enjoy a day by the pool at 40 degrees

Fayez, the night manager, was instrumental in locating said jacket. He then kept in contact with me for the next few days as they assisted me in figuring out how to retrieve the jacket as I was already back in Cairo

The pool is beautiful as is the courtyard. The thing that really sets this place above the competition is the friendly and helpful staff. They are all wonderful and fun to talk to and are a big help when needed

Cannot recommend this place enough. This was my 3rd time to Luxor and this was by far the best place to stay. Also the food in the upstairs restaurant (along with it's views) are the best I've had in Luxor

Went here for dinner with my tour group. Excellent staff, great scenic views, and probablly one of the best meals we had in Egypt.

The location is perfectly located on the quiet side of the Nile but the local ferry to get to the other side is 100meters out the door, costs 1 Egyptian pound and leaves every 5-10minutes

Service at the hotel was great. The pool, the restaurants, security, the location. we even use their laundry service, and (take away) "breakfast box" and all was fantastic

Room is small and dated. Our faucet didn't work. We called the front desk letting them know but there was nothing they could not do about it. Food, however, is excellent, especially the poolside restaurant.

Located what appears to be an island, Jolie Ville Resort is very large. Our room was somewhat distant from the reception and restaurant area. We called for a golf trolley and within minutes we were picked up

They went above and beyond to create the most romantic dinner by the Nile, and it was an experience straight out of a fairytale

We had an awesome time during our stay at the beautiful nile compound in Luxor

I searched online for quite a while looking for a nice hotel on Luxor's west bank and came to the conclusion that Alhambra hotel was it and boy was I NOT disappointed!! It is an extremely clean hotel with an incredibly friendly staff who will bend over backwards to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible

If you are on a budget and looking for a nice and clean place then this is it. I came alone this time but will definitely be back with my family!!

Facilities were as 5* hotels but room was not very clean. Family bar and swimming pool was nice.

Very basic hotel, the breakfast is ok but nothing special, the WiFi is very bad most of the time, the pool looks like nobody cleans it ever... But the rooms are ok, with a little balcony and comfy beds.

So nice hotel, people there is so helpful, food is good, so nice place to spend time on it

Although my room was not available when I arrived due to a water heater repair, the hotel put me up in a nearby spacious apartment which was lovely. As soon as the repair was done I moved into the hotel two nights later

The staff was very attentive to our needs and desires. It’s a beautiful hotel, enjoying the Egyptian paintings on the wall. There is a very lovely and clean swimming pool. The room was very comfortable and spacious

Basic hotel with a good location over looking the Nile. Rooms basic and had to ask for everything: towels, cleaning etc. Room cleaning did not always happen despite us asking

Best hotel in Luxor! Mohamed and his staff were amazing. They helped arrange for incredible tours around the Valley of the Kings. Later, Mohamed arranged for a sail boat on the Nile River to see the sunset

The rooftop terrace gives you a good overview of the eastbank and lots of sunshine during the afternoon and breakfast from 07:00 in the morning. The breakfast is every day the same, see pictures for reference

They offer dinner too, just like loads of drinks and ice cream. The rooms are clean, spacious and have a balcony too. There is a cabinet in the room with clothing hangers and a fridge

Fine hotel on the west bank of luxor. I can really advise to stay on this side to avoid the crowds, busy street and lots of noisy and smelly vehicles on the east bank

On arrival we got a proper welcome, with a welcome drink on the rooftop terrace and explanations what to do in and around luxor

The only annoying thing about the room was the card that is used to light up some of the lights, the AC and the fridge! It seriously is a struggle and it keeps moving and I have to get up every 5 minutes (literally) to adjust it so the AC and fridge would be back on again! That was a mood killer! I seriously thought of moving to another hotel because of it! I hope they reconsider this and change it...

But other than that, the room was very nice, had a beautiful bathroom, balcony (for this price!!), VERY comfy bed, wardrobe, TV, AC, Fridge,
