Nice hotel with quaint rooms and the service was friendly. We had dinner here and the food was okay, but it was nice to sit by the pool and have a few drinks.

Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough

Great contemporary hotel, situated right in the heart of Luxor's East Bank with an amazing pool side and deck to the Nile. Brilliant concierge services offered by Hany and team

Only downside was the food quality offered by one of the outdoor grilled food which didn't meet basic standards

The room was a bit different from what I saw in the photos; it was clean and tidy, but overall, nothing in the hotel is new or modern: a small 24-inch old TV, a very old hairdryer, and a bathtub shower with years of usage stains on it—of course, except for the lobby, which is almost chic and modern

However, upon arrival, there was no trace of the warm and friendly Egyptian welcome or the welcome drink, and the hotel and its facilities were not introduced to us at all—we were just given the room cards

The hotel, since we had mentioned beforehand that the purpose of our trip was our wedding anniversary, had very warmly decorated the room and gifted us a cake and delicious fruits

I don’t know why??! Because later I saw that they didn’t treat all guests this way

Another downside of our room on the 5th floor facing the courtyard was that the smell of food from the two restaurants in the courtyard wafted onto the room’s terrace, making it practically impossible to enjoy the cool evening air at sunset

stunning classical Chinese garden, famous for its unique rock formations that resemble lions. The labyrinth of rocks creates an intriguing, peaceful atmosphere where visitors can explore hidden paths and quiet corners

It was so close to all the sights Luxor and Karnak temple the museums. The breakfast spread was amazing , I ate very well. Enjoyed the great variety and abundance as well as the omelette station

I enjoyed the fresh baked Egyptian bread. The restaurants the Italian one the food was delicious and very affordable. You can walk around the gardens before or after dinner

The grounds were so beautiful and right next to the Nike I felt very Zen. It’s right next to the Nile which invigorates the soul. Not to mention the clean ad refreshing pools

Front desk was very accommodating, Mohammed gave me a room immediately when I walked in early morning and requested for early check-in. The hotel is located just beside KFC and there are many restaurants nearby

The hotel is closed to most attractions in Luxor. They kindly let us in our room earlier than check in time. My only complaint is that the water from the shower takes a long time to heat up

Only one thing bad happened, 10 am today the manager of 5th floor asked me very ramdon wich number of room i have after leaving my room walking in the hall, when i comeback from breakfast 1,200 egyptian money are gone, not there

Fantastic location just 10 minutes walking distance from Luxor temple. The hotel has beautiful gardens that lead down to the Nile

Choose a Nile view room and you can see across to the Valley of the Kings and the balloon flights early each morning. Excellent service especially from Semon and the reception staff

The restaurant food is decent and caters to the tourist palette (if you are after delicious, authentic food best to go into the city centre). We also visited the spa and had a salt treatment and full body massage

Great location to major attractions and restaurants. Aly (manager), GiGi, and Badwin took great care of us the entire time. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Food at restaurant out of this world amazing

But the staff was pleasant, they let us check in to our room early, and they stored our bags for us on our getaway day until we were done exploring. We were quite pleased with our stay here!

Best location ( walkable distance to Luxor Temple) , market place and Nile river opposite to the hotel. Also I had dinner in the Palace and it was mouth watering, mostly had French cuisines and wines

A lovely hôtel situated in beautiful gardens next to the Winter Palace. Service was excellent. A lovely heated pool area where you can relax. The hotel offers a variety of food options. I will definitely return.

The pool is beautiful as is the courtyard. The thing that really sets this place above the competition is the friendly and helpful staff. They are all wonderful and fun to talk to and are a big help when needed

Cannot recommend this place enough. This was my 3rd time to Luxor and this was by far the best place to stay. Also the food in the upstairs restaurant (along with it's views) are the best I've had in Luxor

Went here for dinner with my tour group. Excellent staff, great scenic views, and probablly one of the best meals we had in Egypt.

The location is perfectly located on the quiet side of the Nile but the local ferry to get to the other side is 100meters out the door, costs 1 Egyptian pound and leaves every 5-10minutes

The location is better than many other options as it is closer to the Nile, not far from the interesting places but it is quieter than the very centre. People there are very welcoming

Nice hotel to stay with family. This is an old building, close to the Nile and tourist places. To get hot water you need to open the tap and wait for more than 10 minutes. Breakfast and room service were good

This hotel was simple and dated but nevertheless totally adequate for a budget tour; very central and easy to find

I was perhaps lucky with a single-use room, but it was absolutely fine with loo paper and hot water in the bathroom, and great balcony -- yes you could see your neighbours, and so what? -- overlooking the temples and the Nile

I enjoyed breakfast indoors and in the courtyard, but I’m sure you could also take it up to the roof terrace for a great view over the town & Nile—I simply didn’t feel like climbing all those stairs first thing in the morning, but did head up there some evenings for nighttime views, and once at sunrise to watch the hot air balloons parade across

He took me to a high-quality cotton store, where (even if he did get a % cut) I saw scarves being hand-made and yarn being spun, and bought 2 gorgeous scarves for $30, cheaper than I'd get similar quality back home

It is a 3 star hotel but it was well worth our money. Clean, plenty of warm water, spacious rooms/apartments, comfortable beds, friendly, polite and very helpful staff. Excellent location on the west bank

He warned me about common local scams, recommended what's worth seeing, and personally walked me to the ferry so that I reach it without getting harassed away by motorboat/felucca owners

Close to the ferry, right accross from Luxor temple, and close the main attractions in the west bank. This deserves an excellent review for us. This is still a 3 star hotel, though

The venue on the Nile, the staff is kind , polite , caring , the food is delicious and fresh , the whole day cleaning service is perfect. I really enjoy my time at New Pola Hotel

The hotel was clean and not far Karnak and Luxor Temples. They also booked a tour of The Valley Of The Kings for a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

Rooms are fairly good size. Hot water. AC works.luggage storage after chk out.water 15 pounds, coke small 20 pounds EGP. No breakfast. No coffee/ tea.

This is an affordable hotel with excellent service the rooms are lovely with amazing view of river nile . The staff are very helpful .

It is directly opposite the private ferry’s port and 5 min walk from the public ferry port to go to the city center on the east bank

Great experience for a fair price, good for students like us but as well couples or families. El masela Hotel is a beautiful place with a stunning view on the Nile from the roof top as well as our room‘s balcony

Next to the hotel there are many cozy restaurants but the food at the hotel is really good, too

The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. I arrived quite early by train, around 9 AM, and she was incredibly accommodating, offering an early check-in after just a 40-minute wait for the room to be prepared

Getting a taxi to attractions on the East Bank is easy and costs around 50 EGP. The surroundings are lovely, and you can even watch hot air balloons from the terrace!

Twenty years ago I really hated Luxor and El Gezira Garden totally changed my mind, if there is a paradise in Egypt it is thas place. The staff, the calm, the restaurant ( rare in Egypt) everything is pleasant there

Perfectly located on the West Bank, close to all the main sites and just a short walk from the ferry to the East Bank. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly at home thanks to the warm welcome from all the staff

Authenticate hotel on the West Bank of Luxor. Lovely staff and great service. Location is just 2 mins walk from the Nile and an ideal location for all the West Bank hotspots like valley of the kings etc

Rooms are a little dated but air conditioned and clean. Pool is a great bonus and is well cleaned. Breakfast also basic but delicious. If you want great service and location without the frills then this place is great

Comfortable family apartment, superb breakfast buffet and a pool to refresh you after a hot day in the sun. A few restaurants and shops to try locally, plus the boats across the river are only a 5 minute walk away

They're a little pricey, but I don't remember the exact prices. We didn't have any issues with the bathroom in our room, except for the water not working at first, so we had to call a staff member to fix it

Because of its convenient location, it's in a busy area, so it can be noisy at night. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so it's convenient

It's very well located, next to Luxor Temple, a market, McDonald's, restaurants, and the Nile River. It couldn't be better located. The view from my balcony is beautiful

Luxor Temple can be seen from the hotel, just a five-minute walk away. The front desk also offers tour assistance. Water, alcohol, and beer are also sold at the front desk

Exceptional Service and Amenities at Nefertiti Hotel Luxor I recently stayed at the Nefertiti Hotel Luxor and was thoroughly impressed with the service and amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive

Their taxi service to the airport is one of the cheapest, safest and most reliable around. Budget $2-$3 for someone to take your bags to your room, as there is no lift

The location is another big plus, right in the center of the city, surrounded by many bazaars, and only about a 7–8 minute walk to the train station

On the downside, breakfast could be improved — the choice is quite small and repetitive, and the bread is a bit on the sweet side. The highlight, however, is the omelet freshly made by the chef every morning

All in all, for a budget-friendly trip where you plan to travel and move around a lot, I think Hotel Nefertiti is a really great choice

Everything was great! The hotel is very clean. It has a swimming pool. Also it has a restaurant on the roof. The food in restaurant is perfect, very good! People on the reception and in restaurant are very kind

The hotel also has a pool with sun loungers available for guests, which is perfect after a day of exploring. Ferry port is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Highly recommended for a stay in Luxor

If you ask the owner, they'll arrange a balloon tour, Luxor, or Xian for a reasonable fee. Even if you're late for photo shoots, they'll wait for you until late and safely escort you back to the hotel

Extremely pleasant hotel with great attention to detail. The decoration is thoughtful and creates a warm, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere both in the rooms and in the public areas

Our suite (yes, suite - not just a room but an apartment) is a wall to wall mini museum of tapestry, carpets, classic furniture and local art, tastefully pulled together in a manner that makes you feel like a very honoured guest

It is close to the Egyptian Museum. The interior is average and livable, but the Egyptian sandwiches at the door taste good and are cheap. It is close to the popular restaurant kazaz, so it is convenient to take a taxi

The guy at the front desk was very friendly, helped to call a taxi, the price was cheap, recommended the food Kazaz shop, which was very good, the juice was very delicious, and the price was reasonable

Also, an incredible cook! I was well fed each evening with properly home made food. Rooms are well kept and nicely decorated, and a comfortable sleep. Feels less like a hotel, and more like a home

If you book your tours through Mara, the guides are very knowledgeable and patient, I spent three days with them visiting Karnak and Luxor, Abydos and Dendera (my favourite), and West Bank tour

What a superb find in Luxor for a family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) to explore the local sights. As soon as we arrived, we met the incredibly hospitable Amr and He provided tea on arrival
