Everything about this hotel was perfect. But what really made my stay perfect, was the staff. Every single member of the staff that I encountered were top notch. We’ve been here just for the lunch while we were visiting Luxor’s temple: the hotel itself is situated on the Nile, having a pool by the river. The lunch was good yet, since we weren’t actual hosts of the hotel, the waiters were a bit rude with us, forcing us to sit in a specific zone and hurrying us to leave the table while still eating. Nonetheless this hotel seems nice for it guests.

Steigenberger has to be one of the best hotels I lodged during my stay in Egypt. Really friendly staff, their service was top notch, the ambience was just amazing and the rooms were really neat and functional. I had a view overlooking the Nile. Great location to major attractions and restaurants. Aly (manager), GiGi, and Badwin took great care of us the entire time. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Food at restaurant out of this world amazing. I had the spicy chicken kebab and ate all of it. I'm a give foodie! The rooms were clean and had a view of the Nile river. Would stay here again. The location is perfect, and the service is excellent. Rooms are Ok, style of Mercure hotels, but (as per 2017) needed some renovations. It's 10 minutes walk from Luxor temple, nile view, and I think it's the closest hotel to El Karnak temple.

A great hotel with lots of history. Really beautiful grounds. Convenient having hassle-free shops inside. Really centrally located - walkable to key sights. The bathroom design was a bit strange, specifically the showers. But overall very comfortable rooms. The service little old-world stuffy for my liking, but would be loved by an older crowd.

Have not stayed here yet. We dropped in for some refreshments at two different locations. First, after a stroll about the gardens - we stopped at the poolside cafe to have some beer. We asked for nuts but the staff said we would need to go inside to the bar for that. We spent a night at the Iberotel Luxor before catching a ship to Aswan. The hotel is close to the Luxor airport and convenient to town. This hotel is beautifully located in the center of Luxor overlooking the river nile. The service at the pool was easily the best we’ve ever experienced. The life guard made sure we had comfortable sun beds and positioned the sun umbrellas so that we could even enjoy a day by the pool at 40 degrees. The bar tender was extremely attentive and ensured we always had a cool drink in our hands.

right in the middle of Luxor, on the bank of the river Nile, 2 mins away from the motor boat pier to cross to the west bank 30-40EGP per boat, 5 minute walk from Luxor temple and the main souk. the room we stayed in was very basic, but very clean. the room cleaner was very good at his job.

Staff was polite and friendly! My partner and I ended up having a free day in Luxor, so we purchased entry to the pool. The pool area was clean and maintained, with a lovely view over the Nile. We had plenty of beverages and some burgers - those were all great. My main concern is the ATMs in their building - I used one to withdraw cash and, with no warning or notice, it charged me double!

To be honest, the facilities inside the rooms are quite disappointing. But the view of Nile is just amazing. The restaurants and bars are good, especially the Italian restaurant. There is live music at night and the vibes are so good. The spa is reasonable price and all the staffs are nice and helpful. We do enjoy our stay!

Good for tourist location And food is ok😏. Descent room but no room service (unless you ask). Daytime receptionist Mr Azar is a very gentle men. Afternoon time receptionist (don’t know his name, bit heavy looking) is a grumpy and always angry. Normally he shouts and treat you like NOT a guest. Just watch out for him if you will stay here.

It is an okay place to stay. It is near to places to eat. There are few Om Hashem's restaurants nearby. Checking in and checking out procedure was fast. Room was big and comfortable. I just wished they prepare some basic toiletries or let the customer choose to have them by paying a little extra. Downside is, I wished I could get more varieties in the breakfast options.

Location was great, amazing views I paid a premium for a full Nile view, and it was not worth it, save your money. I verified with the front desk that what is pictured was a full view, was super disappointed in that. Service was amazing, buffet was way over priced.

Probably the most beautiful resort in Luxor. It is situated right by the Nile on its own private Island. The area is stunning, the food is good, and the pools are great. The staff is polite, but as others have mentioned they do occasionally bother you with "offers" and annoying selling. But all in all a great hotel.

Any trips out need taxi or hotel's shuttle bus. But hotel in great location for visiting west bank sites and Luxor Rooms well serviced daily. Public areas clean, no rubbish laying around. Greeting you with a smile, all staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble.
