Olivia Balmes Hotel

Amazing location in Barcelona. Metro is right across the street and the hotel staff is very helpful and will help get you a taxi. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights prior to a cruise. Breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and fresh. There is a great rooftop pool and sitting area with a bar and you can order food as well. Drinks and food were well priced. Front desk staff were so accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel and am looking forward to returning there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Olivia Balmes Hotel. The location is perfect, many great restaurants, cafes, and markets within walking distance and a metro station across the street. Service was spectacular, every single staff member was extremely kind and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

About to finish up a weekend trip with my wife and daughter. What an amazing hotel! The rooms are big and very cleaned, the rooftop pool was wonderful for our daughter. If the hotel rating was down to the staff, it would be 5 star. From the moment we arrived they were all wonderful. We received a room upgrade, our daughter was given a little rabbit soft toy that she hasn’t parted with all weekend. Then I went to check out and enquired about the price for a late check out so my daughter could nap in the room before we leave and they offered it free of charge. A massive thank you to all the team (especially Pablo) for an amazing weekend.

Cozy, kind of luxury 4-star hotel in the city center. The location is just perfect. The rooms are large, clean, and very quiet. The only strange thing is that the bathroom is part of the room and not completely isolated. Be prepared for that. The staff is attentive and supportive; they even didn’t charge me for a missing bottle of water from the bar which I didn’t consume. I really appreciate their approach. Also, the breakfast is excellent and worth trying if you don't have any particular plans for dining out in the city.

The Hotel is located next to shopping, food, and public transportation. The Hotel was beautiful and the staff was great. The front desk helped numerous times with directions, and recommendations. The room was clean and modern with a great view of the street. We didn't have time for the roof top pool and bar but it looked like a place to be to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The restaurant breakfast was plentiful and had a huge variety. We will definitely stay here again when in Spain.

We can only highly recommend this hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights after a cruise with our 1 year old baby and everything was perfect. We arrived around 9:00am and they let us check in early (even upgraded us to a bigger room). Everyone working was always friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. The rooms are clean and modern. The neighbourhood is exceptional and we enjoyed exploring it but also admiring it from the rooftop pool. Most notably was when our daughter had a medical emergency and in what felt like in seconds the hotel staff arranged a fast taxi to the best children’s hospital in town 🙏 highly highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back!

Hotel was lovely. Margarita was an amazing host so kind and attentive.
Breakfast was average felt it was limited with hot food options.
Room was beautiful however, the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable.
Overall it was an amazing experience and location was perfect.

The service is outstanding, and we had a ball. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had our daughter with us, and we were able to get a room with a sleeper sofa for her. Whatever we needed -- taxis, restaurant suggestions, city information, help with luggage, etc -- was provided by the excellent staff. We will hopefully be back in Barcelona before too long. If so, we will stay here again!

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. At check-in, we had a complaint that our room had obviously has smokers in it. It was immediately checked by staff, and we were moved with a new room quickly and easily. While we waited on the new room, they apologized and also treated us to a charcuterie board and wine. Our room itself was great. The staff were helpful and charming. The location of the hotel and all amenities were also wonderful.

This is going to be our new go to hotel when we visit Barcelona. From Josep to Diego and everyone in between the staff is so accommodating and helpful. They were all so sweet and truly make you feel like family. The rooftop views and pool are spectacular. The rooms have a modern flare. They are comfortable and clean.
