Loved the location near the sea, and the beautiful neighboring cemetery (see pictures). The hotel was very convenient for the conference I attended, and morning walks on the beach. However, it is in desperate need of a renovation. The decor is old and worn but more worrisome is the screeching elevator. I started taking the stairs despite being on the 7th floor. As other reviewer have also noted the breakfast could be improved. The cut fruit was brown, even at 7am. And all coffee options were sweetened. I also had to beg for an iron despite the hotel being a « business » hotel contracted for the conference.

Rooms are clean. Location is technically close to city center but actually it involved a 8 min walking to the nearest metro station to go to most of the places. Average time to different locations is 30-45 min. Breakfast is bad. The view of the cemeteries is not breathtaking. The room is not small but it is not nice.

Nice big room, bed and bathroom
Great to see out to the sea- looking over a cemetery didn’t worry me. I think they should fix the awful noise in one of the two lifts as that was mentioned in a review here a while ago.
The breakfast was good for €12, but not great.

My stay at this hotel was far from ideal. The elevator made unsettling scraping noises, making each ride a nerve-wracking experience. Breakfast was disappointing, with poor-quality food that left much to be desired. The gym was practically useless, with equipment that hadn’t been functioning for years. Our room was uncomfortably warm, as the cooling system didn’t work properly. Worse, our door wouldn’t close securely. The staff did their best, but it couldn't make up for the hotel's many flaws.

I stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience. The elevator made loud scraping noises, adding a sense of unease every time we used it. Breakfast was subpar, with low-quality options that were barely edible. The gym was in terrible shape, with one machine clearly broken for years. Our room was uncomfortably warm, and the air conditioning didn't help. To top it off, our door wouldn’t shut properly, compromising our security. The only positive was the staff, who did their best despite the poor conditions.

We had a distressing experience at this hotel. Early in the morning, while we were still asleep, a decorative painting fell from above and hit us, waking us up abruptly. This incident not only frightened us but also left us with some bruises and swelling. It severely affected our mood and overall experience.
To make matters worse, when we reported the incident to the hotel staff, they simply rehung the painting and told us "everything is fine." This response was completely inadequate and dismissive of our concerns. We expected a safe and comfortable stay, but this incident highlights a serious safety issue with the room's fixtures and the staff's lack of appropriate response.
We hope the hotel management addresses this problem to prevent such accidents in the future. Our stay was ruined by this event, and we are very disappointed with the way it was handled.

Stayed here with a few friends on a stag do, hotel was good, clean, service was great.
Helped source a taxi for the return travel to the airport which was quick and easy to sort with reception.
The pillows were a bit unusual but were still useable and not an issue.
The lift made some very strange noises, never felt like it was going to crash but was just weird. Homeless guy was sleeping outside the hotel but again he never said a word to us so we never had an issue with him.
Only annoying part was the shower, it would constantly change from hot to cold water whilst in use (was the same in all 3 rooms we had).
Apart from that, lovely hotel, good location, walking distance to the metro, the beach etc

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel, primarily due to its exceptional location. Situated near the sea, it offered the convenience of being within walking distance to various attractions, with easy access to both bus and metro services for further exploration. The breakfast option was delightful, providing a great start to the day. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms and bedding was impeccable, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. The generously sized cosmetic set was a thoughtful touch, and the beautiful view from the window was truly the icing on the cake.
While there was much to appreciate about my stay, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the breakfast selection, although generally pleasing, notably lacked sufficient vegan options. As someone who values or requires such dietary considerations, this was a bit disappointing and an area where I see room for significant enhancement. Additionally, the extra charge for using the gym was a downside. In most hotels of this caliber, access to fitness facilities is commonly included in the stay, so this additional fee was unexpected and detracted from the overall value offered by the hotel.

The location of the hotel is good, close to the beach. The food at breakfast is very poor, you don't have much to choose from. The rooms are as in the pictures, very ok and the staff very kind and nice. They kept our luggage at the reception until we left for the airport. Overall the experience was ok.

This is not a 4-star hotel, more like 2-star in my opinion because of the following reasons:
1. Noisy, vibrating lifts - if your room is near the lifts, you probably won't be able to sleep, but what’s worst is that they are just slow and scary to use!
2. Poor sound insulation, bad windows - if there is noise on the streets (cars, people coming back from parties etc.) you probably won't be able to sleep
3. Poor breakfast - cold scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon, cold small sausages, very few options to choose from
4. Sewage smell in the area
5. If you have a room with sea view, most of the view is taken by the cemetery, which is located next to the hotel
6. Homeless people in the area
7. Uncomfortable pillows (they are filled with polyester filling, rather than down, feather or latex... polyester is bad as it retains heat and you get warm when you sleep
I was unable to sleep during the two nights I was at the hotel. I asked for a refund, but I was only given a complaint form to complete. A couple of days later I received an email with a response offering to remediate the situation by… trusting them again and coming back again! You’ve got to be kidding me.
