Hotel Best 4 Barcelona

Stayed here with a few friends on a stag do, hotel was good, clean, service was great.

Helped source a taxi for the return travel to the airport which was quick and easy to sort with reception.

The pillows were a bit unusual but were still useable and not an issue.

The lift made some very strange noises, never felt like it was going to crash but was just weird. Homeless guy was sleeping outside the hotel but again he never said a word to us so we never had an issue with him.

Only annoying part was the shower, it would constantly change from hot to cold water whilst in use (was the same in all 3 rooms we had).

Apart from that, lovely hotel, good location, walking distance to the metro, the beach etc

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel, primarily due to its exceptional location. Situated near the sea, it offered the convenience of being within walking distance to various attractions, with easy access to both bus and metro services for further exploration. The breakfast option was delightful, providing a great start to the day. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms and bedding was impeccable, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. The generously sized cosmetic set was a thoughtful touch, and the beautiful view from the window was truly the icing on the cake.

While there was much to appreciate about my stay, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the breakfast selection, although generally pleasing, notably lacked sufficient vegan options. As someone who values or requires such dietary considerations, this was a bit disappointing and an area where I see room for significant enhancement. Additionally, the extra charge for using the gym was a downside. In most hotels of this caliber, access to fitness facilities is commonly included in the stay, so this additional fee was unexpected and detracted from the overall value offered by the hotel.

The location of the hotel is good, close to the beach. The food at breakfast is very poor, you don't have much to choose from. The rooms are as in the pictures, very ok and the staff very kind and nice. They kept our luggage at the reception until we left for the airport. Overall the experience was ok.

We spent 3 days at this hotel and it was the best feeling ever. The rooms were clean and tidy at all times, The breakfast buffet was excellent. None of our items were stolen as we even got a secured safe in our room. Bus stops were closer too.

The only issue I had was with the bathtub 🛀. I couldn’t soak myself in it because there was no cover for the hole to block the water from running 🙂

And another thing that I didn’t like and gave me goosebumps was the fact that there was a cemetery at the back of my window 😩 We could literally see it every time we open the blinds 😩 Wasn’t really comfortable with that.

Very nice hotel with best value for price. Friendly and efficient staff. Calm neighborhood, 5 minutes from the direct metro to the city center, 5 minutes and from the beach, easy to reach by car from the airport, restaurants and small supermercats close. We'll be back, Barbara & Jorge !

Reading comments from before, this is not the same hotel. The rooms are clean and partially renovated, AC working without problems. Sheets and towels are changed every day or every second day. For a deposit of 5 euros, you get a clean towel every day for the beach. I write about minor things and damage in the room in the email and they were solved all same day. Safe in the room looks solid and is insured. Mini fridges are a great plus. Above all else, everyone in the hotel was polite and nice, and try to help with anything we asked for.
