I spent 2 nights in this hotel! Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the excellent service. A special thanks to Omar at the reception—he was absolutely fantastic! His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made my experience even better ( Little Sofia sends you a big hug).I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back!

We chose this hotel for its location, which is indeed excellent. It’s within walking distance of the Basílica de la Sagrada Família and makes exploring the area very easy.
However, there were several things that disappointed me. First, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom. While this might seem like a minor detail, it’s actually quite important, especially when sharing a room with a partner or friends. I still don’t understand why they choose not to provide one.
On the second day, I noticed pillbugs in the bathroom. When I mentioned it to the receptionist, they simply said it was “normal” due to the weather. Later, we saw that they had sanitized the room, but this should never have happened in the first place. If they are aware of this issue, they should take preventive measures rather than just reacting when guests complain.
Additionally, we stayed for three days, yet they only provided one bottle of water on the first day and never replenished it.
While the location is great, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the overall experience.

The hotel was really nice and cozy. We especially liked Vanessa, who was really helpful during our breakfast. I am on a gluten free diet, and she made sure that I get a gluten free option. She was really nice and made our stay even better.

We stopped in this SM Hotel in November for a few days to explore the city. It’s located in nice area, you can find a lot of stores, cafes in the area, bus, and metro station very close.
Sagrada is around 5 min walk from this place.
Be aware, that you will need to drive to get to the beach around 10 min by car or 35 by metro.
We had breakfast included in reservation, I liked it a lot, you have diversity of food: fruits, different kinds of meat, cheese, drinks and pastry. Everything was fresh and tasty.
This area is safe, we checked in around 10pm and went to buy a pizza around 11 pm. And there were still people on the terraces. This is what I love about Spain☺️

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! We spent 3 days enjoying amazing Barcelona and this hotel was perfectly situated within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was very extensive and Vanessa provided numerous gluten free options for me to enjoy. Raul at the front desk was able to source tickets for us and took time to share area information and directions that made our stay so much more interesting.

Edit: I remembered that they don't use normal duvet covers. They use two sheets and have the duvet in between. Everyone knows that duvet don't get washed after every customer. So that was strange and not pleasant.
Perfect location, near a bus that goes often and to key locations. The rooms are clean, but they don't have any toilet brushes. The rooms have maybe a bit more wear and tear than in pictures. But air-conditioning is working, there is no mold, no bugs. Beds are comfortable but sqeek a lot. The doors and windows aren't sound proof. I can sleep everywhere so it wasn't annoying for me, but other people may need ear plugs.
Breakfast was nice, small and basic. Nice addition but not a must.
Overall I'm happy with our stay and will recommend this hotel.

Great location in Barcelona, easy access to everywhere by bus, subway...
Our room had a strange layout. No toilet brush, no exhaust in the bathroom... But very clean.
Breakfast was delicious, staff friendly, besides in the breakfast room, they must have had a bad day ...
Other than this, we enjoyed the stay.

The room was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the bus stop and 10 minutes to the metro station. The Sagrada Familia is only a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride away. While the beach is a bit farther, I still highly recommend this place 100%. However, the room was not soundproof, so be prepared for a little noise. That said, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay here. Each morning when we came down for breakfast, we were greeted by a lovely beaming smile from Vanessa, who worked extremely hard to prepare the breakfast buffet, and keep it topped up. I think she deserves an increase in salary as she worked on her own to maintain the cleanliness and stock for breakfast. The rooms was clean and the air conditioning was good, especially as it was very hot in Barcelona whilst we were there.

The hotel was great, excellent location, good food, kind staff, and comfortable beds. Overall would recommend to first time visitors. A little pricey, but would suggest staying here. Omar at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful with directions on navigating the city. Vanessa at the breakfast area was super friendly, energetic, hardworking, attentive, and sociable. She went above and beyond to take care of the guests. She made our stay more personable and enjoyable each morning.
