Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort

The hotel was very clean, very accessible, and family oriented, with a water park on site. the staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. The bar staff were also friendly & helpful and Maribel makes the best cocktails I’ve tasted, she is friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for the customers, she made it feel like home from home. I will be returning to see her again next year. The entertainment was great, Aqua Aerobics was so much fun, who knew I would enjoy that 😂 Aitor was amazing at it and a great all round entertainer, The kids loved it as did us adults, these too staff are a credit to the hotel as are the rest of the staff. Was sad to leave. 🥲

This was our first holiday abroad, myself & 2 teens. Hotel is fantastic, modern, clean & spacious, the staff are absolutely amazing friendly, approachable & always smiling! The pools are great, clean & good size, this was the best bit for us, lots of sun beds although you do need to get up early to secure your bed, there is lots of evening entertainment if that’s your thing. Our room wasn’t quite how it was described on booking, but nevertheless it was a nice, clean room with a great view of the pool & the sea. We did venture out of the hotel, good local shops, would definitely recommend a trip into Calella lovely town, lots of shops/restaurants & a beautiful beach. I really did not want to make any criticism or mark them down a star however the only thing that let’s this hotel down is the food, the hot food counter at the buffet is very hit& miss, the plates were cold everyday but one, which meant by the time you sit down your food is cold, the food is bland, they made paella one night, it was worst I had ever tasted, were in Spain either get it right or don’t bother is my opinion. On a positive note the restaurant staff are brilliant, absolutely run off their feet, but still smiling & making sure service runs smoothly.

Recently renovated hotel in front of the beach and very family oriented in general. The rooms are small but well distributed (and also completely renovated), food is of great quality and the staff is extremely helpful.

The hotel has 4 separate swimming pools: the newest one on the east wing of the hotel (ideal for smaller children), another one on the west wing of the hotel (with sharp edges, so it's advisable to wear swimming shoes), an indoor pool (which felt a bit dirty), and a separate area just outside of the hotel where the water slides are located (suitable for kids older than 5-6, as there aren't any slides for younger kids).

The animation staff is very friendly and organises lots of activities for kids all day long, and also hosts a mini disco show in the evenings. The restaurant offers great quality food (though not very varied), and the hotel is very clean in general (apart from the pool area, which could be cleaner).

This was the first holiday abroad for our children and I cannot fault the hotel. Amenities are great and plenty of entertainment. The waiters and cleaning staff work immensely hard to ensure you are well looked after and everywhere is clean and tidy. Food is good with a good choice. Rooms are excellent and the reception area is great. Beach is directly across the road. Plenty of pools including one indoors for rainy days (outdoor pools are a little colder than I could tolerate). Kids entertainment staff work long hours but still maintain their fun attitude and smiles. All of them are great but a special mention for Selena who is absolutely amazing with the children (really made our kids feel like they were important to her) and gives them so much time and seems to really enjoy what she does. Would recommend for anyone with young children or adults looking for a great time away from the big commercialised resorts. Evening entertainment caters for everyone with an amazing variety of acts throughout the week. The only 2 negatives I have are the weather wasn’t great for half of our time there and not much in the local area but both out of the control of what is a great resort.

Really great hotel! I haven't got a bad word to say about it overall.
The only part that let the holiday down was the weather. Totally out of their control of course! They do have plenty of things to do in the rain for the little ones and the staff and facilities are excellent. Goldi club staff I thought were wonderful and my daughter loved her holiday. Thank you!

I have nothing but compliments for this hotel, I cannot recommend it enough to anyone wanting the perfect family holiday!
We have been coming as a couple every year since 2012, and this year we got to take our daughter here for the first time and we had the most amazing time.
Rooms are beautiful and clean and massive selection of tasty food (obviously came home half a stone heavier!)
The staff are just incredible, so friendly, from the cleaners, to the reception staff, the waiters and of course the amazing Animation team! I have to give a special mention to Weiling the waitress in the Habana bar, we have known her for years but she is the kindest lady you will ever meet and makes the best mojito!
The entertainment is spot on every night, with so much fun for both kids and adults.
I came home and booked straight away for next year! I look forward to making so many happy memories here as a family for years to come! Thank you Golden Taurus for another amazing holiday!

I am Currently here and this is an honest a balanced review from my POV since I have been here. I have done 3, 4 and 5* holidays including a range of bored types so I am not writing this with any agenda. Trying to help people who may have any questions or worries about the hotel.

Check In- Our experience wasn't the greatest with check in but this was no fault of the hotel staff. They worked relentlessly to get at least 200 people checked in at the same time. We queued outside the hotel for nearly an hour but again the reception staff worked as fast as possible.

Rooms- I am in a normal twin Bedroom with pool/Seaview. The rooms are modern and bright and go get cleaned daily. Towels changed daily and the view from the balcony was fantastic. Cleaning staff do work hard so bare in mind they have a lot to do. Everyone has a different standard of cleaning. The hallway entrances to rooms are lovely. Free to use safe is available. Beds are relatively comfortable but again depends what you like.

Hotel Grounds- The hotel is actually very nice and in some areas could be mistaken for a 5*. The newly renovated reception and bar areas are beautiful. the pool areas are very big and clean. Waterpark and sports are situated at the front of the hotel. The hotel it opposite a beach and offers some beautiful view of the Med. There are people who are constantly Cleaning and looking after the hotel grounds. Very Nice hotel for a 4*.

Pool/waterpark- Very clean, very well looked after. Pools on both sides of the hotel are beautiful and of a good size. Shallow and deep parts and the hotel has a toddler pool in each side. Bare in mind the pools do get busy as there are lots of people at the hotel. The water park is just brilliant to havh and lots of fun for everyone of all ages.

Sports- The staff work very hard through the day to ensure everyone is having a good time. There is a wide variety of sports and activities available. Again this doesn't always happen in Spanish 3 and 4* hotels that I have been in.

Meal Times- let me start on a positive note, the food is decent. Lots of choices and they do have something for everyone. The breakfast is in my opinion the nicest meal. I think the restaurant area is slightly understaffed and the servers are completely rushed of their feet. A huge Shoutout for Raphael who works extremely hard. I feel the lay out of the restaurant isnt great. Allough it is beautiful inside the fact there is just one big long queue waiting for food is slightly ridiculous. People seem to queue at one end when they are not wanting that item of food. Its very strange and something I've never seen before. People should just go to the area where the food they want is and get it. This would be much quicker. Getting drinks also seem a difficult task as the staff are rushed of their feet. Again the thought of being served drinks at the table is great but we have infact had to eat without a drink. At tea time the bar to the to the left of the restaurant is open so we just got our own drink and took that in. The systems in place probably need changing to maximise the guest experience.

All Inclusive - Simply the best version of all inclusive I have ever seen. The amount that is available on the All inclusive is just amazing.the snacks are tasty and made to order. There are lots of branded drinks that are available. This is something I have never experienced before. Also when you do manage to get a drink in the restaurant it comes in a glass bottle. Most hotels charge you for these types of drinks. Fantastic!!!!

Staff- Everyone I have came across seems to work extremely hard to make our holday the best it can be. Thank to to the staff!!

I have 4 days left at the hotel and I am already planning. Our next visit here.

A couple of small tweaks and additions to this hotel and it genuinly could become a 5*

Unlike some our family of 9 found the food very good with lots of variety.
Lovely hotel with it's own aquapark.
Clean and tidy rooms.
Saw a Michael Jackson tribute show last night and it was faultless, highly recommend to see it.
