Summer Hotel

Traveled from Scotland with my polish partner and I have had Amazing experience - people need to remember the price you are paying, hotel manager is lovely and very attentive. Close to beach, shops and town centre. We were all inclusive and the food was good and plentiful. Had a couple of drinks most nights and no issues.

Rooms cleaned everyday. Train station 18min walk, Got a train no problem to Girona and Barcelona. Only €12 pp.

Would recommend this hotel/area for holiday!

Anahit was very good to us, she went above and beyond to provide us a great service. The food is excellent 5 star 🌟. The only downside was the room beddings were not changed during our stay and the smelly sewer pipes from the bathroom. Also they should be some control on some loudy customers disturbing ours both in the reception area and rooms late at night.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Cleaned every day. Hotel staff were brilliant. Manager opened a room up on last day for me to freshen up on my last day before the flight. Any problems were sorted quickly and efficiently.

It is amazing hotel! Spotless rooms, fresh food and lovely people. We loved the pool bar and pool, however small was clean and nice to swim in. Hotel is quite small, so no crowds, staff always there to help, and manager actually walking around, checking everything not sitting in the office. Lovely time in a lovely place!

We was very sceptical about this hotel as the reviews weren’t great. But I’m glad we went ahead and stayed!

Overall the hotel is a decent price, you get what you pay for.

Yes the food can be repetitive and yes sometimes it isn’t very warm, (nothing like cold baked beans to start your day off) I’m not a fussy eater so I will eat things cold and I will try everything, but my partner survived on buttered bread, chips and chicken nuggets haha.

The bar is very well stocked, cocktails also included with all inclusive.

The rooms are cleaned daily and are always cleaned very well, we had our bedding changed 1 time out of the week.

The pool was pretty cold but it’s expected as we went in mid September and gets quite chilly in the evening, the pool area also is very small, there isn’t enough sun beds for everyone, but everyone manages.

It’s in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the centre of Calella and to the beach, a supermarket for all supplies it’s a 1 minute walk away.

Only issue I had which is our fault is I left my partner with my AirPods, she ended up leaving them on the sun bed and forgot about them, they were handed it by a lovely women, but unfortunately another women overheard this and claimed they were her AirPods, unknown to the lady who handed them in. The staff were unable to show me cctv as it was not their responsibility. If I had seen the cctv I could have found out who stole them, but like I said, our fault for leaving them!

They do play music by the pool during the day, but there is no evening entertainment but there is plenty other places nearby to enjoy a night out.

I really hope this review clears things up and please do not be put off by the reviews!
