Hotels on first line in Calpe

It was huge and spotless - although the type of tiles it must be difficult to clean the floors as my white socks were filthy each day after walking on the floors even just for two minutes

We really also appreciated our cava and I was a little confused by the room types (my fault for not reading it properly!) but in the end I think we were actually upgraded to a suite which is so worth it, so definitely do recommend

We stayed at suitopia in February with our two young sons, and we were blown away. It was our first time in Calpe (we normally visit Albir), and we throughly enjoyed our time

Calpe is a bit more of a city than Albir but walking along the seafront is very pleasant. We had to stay in a suit (as the standard rooms don’t have a sofa bed so it’s the only option when travelling with kids)

The kids loved it, although it was very windy with it being on the 1st floor so very cold when it came to getting out the pool. All in all we had a lovely time in Calpe

And they had two staff members available in the kids club (we didn’t leave the kids there as were not those type of parents who just drop their kids off but the boys enjoyed playing in there with the toys and slides)

Our second visit and it was just lovely. It’s recently been refurbished and is even nicer now. Super pool area, smart indoor bar’s etc and lovely rooms

We are staying at the AR Diamante Beach Hotel in Calpe. This hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The bar area in particular is fabulous and the staff are attentive and friendly

The staff are all so accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. The showers are amazing!!! The barman, Alberto, that worked the circle bar was super friendly and attentive

We had an extended stay due to my partner sustaining an injury. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially. Beatrix, Loure and the bar team Mario and Lorenso

The staff at the AR Diamante hotel in Calpe are extremely friendly and professional, even at busy times. Alberto and Jose deserve a special mention

(apologies if the names are spelt wrong,) Customer service from these guys was exceptional. Please thank all of them they are amazing!

Beautiful setting, great rooms and friendly staff. Right on the beach but the roof top pool and bar is too tempting to resist. Only down side is sometimes the pool and bar and closed for private evening events

Breakfast was standard and varied. The pool on the top floor was very nice but a bit chilly; it could have been heated more. The rooms need renovation soon.

A very nice hotel but on the expensive side. If you pay for sea view with balcony, then your views are spectacular

Great location staff very helpful would recommend. Roof top bar and pool excellent, whoops shouldn't oughter share that, you'll all crowd the place out now

First line, great view of the sea

Spent a lot of time around the pool area with our Granddaughter and it was spotless and beds were always available. This was our fourth year staying here and it gets better every year. We have already booked for 2026

An incredibly clean hotel, with wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious with plenty of facilities and balcony space to make the stay as comfortable as possible

We have just returned from Hotel Ifach and it was excellent. The bedrooms have been renovated and the quality and choice of the food is second to none

There are two bars, one the lobby and one by the pool. There were loads of staff, so you never had to wait long to get a drink, or they would come to you (Thanks Ivan) At any bar you could order snacks and or ice creams

When we arrived it 21:00 we were met by a very happy Ray on reception, we were given our room on the15th floor, he said just drop your cases off and have some diner before it closes (Thanks Ray) The restaurant is on floor (E) the food is really good with plenty of choice

My kids did enjoy the out door park and play area although the day time entertainment is definitely aimed at older kids my toddlers never got asked once to join in, I say toddlers my eldest is nearly 4 surely he can play a game but never mind we was a group of 8 we entertained them ourselves! Also seating inside the bar again very less chairs compared to amount of people, snack bar was alright if chicken...

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival at the hotel to find we'd been "upgraded" to an apartment with a great sea view

Hotel was excellent, staff were super helpful. Rooms were big, enjoying a self catering flat as part of our room. Train and bus stop just outside hotel. Situated in between Port and main town.

Where do I start? The hotel all in all was ok could do with a refurb of the rooms but in general it’s okay, the food is edible but not very much choice especially for picky eaters! We was an English family and the only one in the hotel, staff? Only one bar staff which was a youngish tall skinny lad was decent the rest were arrogant towards us and took time to serve us, all entertainment is Spanish...

Housekeeping are to be congratulated. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. Outside areas were also well kept, including the pool area

From the moment we arrived, the experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help

You can't really be closer to the sea and beach. The room was spacious as well. I used the gym which was good for a hotel gym and not very busy. The pool area is nice too but expect it to get quite crowded

The pool boss beach rare dirty dog, always ready for money to remove your belongings from the sunbeds and sell a seat to a fellow countryman. Relative and could forgive him anything

Good breakfast with fresh fruits. The downside was the pool area. It is really crowded and looks dirty. The beach towels are too short to cover the sunbed

The room with a sea view was spacious and seemed clean. Loved the view of the beach and the Calpe cliff as well as the complementary coffee in the room and the little chocolate box gift in the evening

Also, the hotel is perfectly placed between the village center, beach and other attractions. It is clean, modern and adult only. Kicker: there is a big supermarket under the hotel

I walked with a smile in the hotel and I walked with a smile out again. Can only recommend anyone to get the sea view rooms. It was about 30 quid per day more (it was for us) but it's definitely worth it

This hotel is so clean and in a perfect location. Not many things to do outside the hotel for children not sure if it was because we went out of season. Pool was cold but warmed up throughout our stay

No big inflatables in the pool as there just isn’t enough room when it’s busy but the beach is right outside to use them anyway

Inside heated swimming-pool with water gym. Very easy to walk everywhere around the town

The guests were mainly Spanish, but again this isn’t a bad thing and we had a lovely quiet week here. Right on the beach which was a lovely beach. Food could be repetitive but was all fine, we only ate out once

He did remove towels during the week but this was people who had been gone for hours and we never struggled to get a sunbed during the week as it was quite quiet

Very friendly animation team who made our granddaughter so welcome to join in all activities, also a shout out to the pool guy who was very helpful, friendly and watchful over all the children using the pools

The location of this hotel is perfect. Within walking distance to the beautiful beach, shops & Restaurants of Calpe The rooms are a little dated but were spotlessly clean. We had fresh towels every day

Well this is my 4th visit to this brilliant friendly and exceptionally clean hotel. We use the Galetamar as a base for going rock climbing in Costa Blanca and each time we've been we have had a fantastic time

The hotel environment and location are great! It is close to the seaside and has beautiful scenery; the hotel is first-rate in hygiene and has rich breakfast and dinner; the hotel staff are friendly and provide enthusiastic service

Spa was fantastic. We walked in as outside guests. Receptionist was super helpful. It was heaven. We went for lunch after at one of the hotel restaurants which was exceptional. Staff are so friendly in the reception too.

Fabulous hotel with great pool area, lovely public areas and great air con. Pool area great for adults and children. Breakfast at hotel had good variety and staff lovely and helpful

The room is spacious and bright, elegantly decorated and fully equipped. It is the best choice for watching the sunrise over the sea

I do want to thank one of the staff Jose who’s working in the reception, such a good service! Exceptional really! He helped us with everything, explained everything very good and made us feel very welcomed

He also helped us extend our stay with one more night, everything was in order and he arranged all of it super fast for us

Good sized safe in the room but if you’d brought your laptop to do some work there’s no real desk area, just a long slim shelf under the TV. Bed was softer one side than the other because it was two pushed together

As others have said, if you are a couple staying for a week you won’t have enough space. Also not much space to store your luggage either. Small fridge but no option for it to be a mini bar that gets restocked

Anyway first impression was the room was bigger however still not enough hanging and storage space. Nowhere to hang a full length dress and the wardrobe is about 60cm wide

Sheets had a couple of small holes in - surely if you’d made that bed you would notice and get fresh sheets! Not many plug sockets either

No details of laundry service. You need to ask at reception for an ironing board

The bathroom doesn’t have an actual door, it’s a screen with slats that rolls across so it wouldn’t be terribly private if there’s two in the room

There were plenty of seating areas around the hotel. Designated smoking areas which I loved for a none smoker. The rooms were very spacious, plenty of space in the wardrobes to store your clothes etc

Pool area stunning and lots of seating areas both in and out. Food surpassed by far that of other recent experiences. Our package also included wine and water at the table

Altea is about a 10 -15 minute walk which we did everyday as myself anf husband like walking, you can even walk along the beach, just bare in mind it's very pebly and will require appropriate shoes

Great selection of food for the breakfast buffet something everyone would like. Entertainment was good every night. The beach infront of it is rocky so bring rock shoes

The hotel it's self are gorgeous everything about it the entrance the surroundings, gorgeous water feature in the lobby. We used the gym a few times and had everything you need

Food was amazing, something different everyday, was always something to enjoy. The pool was extremely clean and we're plenty of sunbeds throughout the day. The beach is just a few foot steps away from the pool area

, beach chairs and an umbrella, we were surprised to find a beach cool bag. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and cava and the starter cleaning kit (dishwasher tab, bin bags, dishcloth, dish soap, etc)

The beach was ideal for our family: although a bit steep and covered with pebbles and stones, making it less suitable for small children, it was peaceful and uncrowded. The turquoise water was breathtaking

Several months later, an unexpected and rare situation arose, but the Abaco Hotel handled it with exceptional care—offering a solution that was the best for the client, not for the hotel

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Abaco last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The reception ladies could not have been more friendly and obliging

The best part of the house was the rooftop terrace, offering stunning 360° views - including a beautiful church that looked magical at night

Bellaguarda is a charming neighbourhood close to the old city, yet free from tourist crowds

Nice hotel above a busy restaurant, basic but very comfortable room (1st floor with balcony and sea view) on the beach front. Good location for tourists, a short walk to the town centre etc

I asked for room with sea view was comfortable clean and the staff were so helpful. Food was excellent. I cant fault it

A very basic but clean hotel directly on the sea. Easy walking to the sea, restaurants, shopping, and the old Town, along with the tram station and the bus stops

This is an old school hotel on the seafront with a good and busy dining room. We had lunch and it was very good. Traditional Spanish, not a place for tourists, you get good properly cooked local food

The staff in all quarters were lovely and reception staff very helpful. The food was good but could have been hotter in some instances although was changed instantly when mentioned but not a lot of difference

Maybe a heat probe would be a good idea

Very good, nice and small hotel in a very close vicinity to the beach, just 1 min walk! Preferably to take a room with balcony. Nice and comfortable small lounge zone on the roof with daily snacks and coffee

Super location. Really kind, helpful and considerate owners. Lovely and clean. Great value. What's not to like! Free of charge snacks and drinks on the terrace is a really nice touch too. Recommended!

A hidden gem at a fantastic price! The room, though small, was immaculate and serviced beautifully each day. The rooftop terrace is an oasis with snacks, breakfast fixings, tea, coffee, and even wine

The perfect spot! Leaps beyond anyone else we stayed with in cleanliness, function, style, and value. The ladies that run this small hotel take great pride in their work and it shows

To go to the beach you need a car but it is worth it since the area is very quiet

The house is very good and it is also the ground floor. Many amenities and close to the beach (although it is better to go down by car that is 2 km away). The owners are very friendly and willing to help with anything

I don't give it 5 stars because the pool from the end of the stairs covers a lot (I'm 1. 72 and it covers my eyes) and my son couldn't play well but otherwise highly recommended

The house is spectacular, the pool too, despite being too deep, however the house needs to be renovated, the furniture and appliances are outdated and the oven full of grease

There is no parking on the beach, it is quite difficult to park and with children it is even worse. I think the price is too high considering my description
