Hipotels Barrosa Palace & Spa

On arrival, things got off to a set back start. That is the room, I picked and booked some 9 months before was now not available. We were offered a similar room 340, and not charged for the original booking. We also, were advised that there would be some food in our room as dinner was not an option. There was not. Next few days, I was in contact with the service desk about our room and that a family has now booked in beside us. It was then, I got to speak with Sophia on the front desk. Her expertise in solving my issues were excellent, she offered me a junior suite room 316. But I would need to make a contribution to same, but sometime later Sophia rang back and informed me she went the extra distance and took our case to a director, Sophia was able to get us the upgrade at no extra cost. Excellent work Sophia. In respect to rooms, food, entertainment, facilities pool etc fantastic. Some issues around parking hire car, a suggestion for car parking would be to reduce the hotel parking rate to that of car parks externally. Well done to all involved, on our stay. We will be back.

The most beautiful beach hotel I have visited in Europe! The staff were so lovely as were the rooms, pool & beach area. The beach bar & restaurant were particularly nice. The only bad thing was the pool towels @ the beach - head down there early otherwise you have to sit in the bar/grass area!

Had the pleasure of staying here in June for my 50th birthday with another couple. Firstly this hotel is beautiful. The newly renovated hotel is stunning. The staff are so helpful and friendly and took a great deal of care and interest in us over our week long stay. Check in was easy. Glass of fizz whilst we waited. I was very lucky to have worked as part of a Thomas Cook group 20+ yrs ago when they first went into this area so it was great to see how it had changed. It still has the peaceful atmosphere and you could go and disappear here and not be bothered. I was very fortunate to receive an upgrade, to a suite with its own pool. We were very spoilt, this was such a treat. The beach bar and beach are fab with all the views you’d love, beds readily available. Food at the hotel is delicious. We did a themed night and it was great, take your appetite with you is my only advice. The breakfast is vast and you can have in or outdoors. We ate at the pool bar most days and honestly it was some of the nicest food we had. Theres a range of entertainment free too. Wine tasting, Spanish class, beach walks etc etc. There’s a coffee shop on site too with the friendliest team with pastries and snacks and a very good coffee. We caught a cab/bus into Barrosa on a night time for some other bars/restaurants but there is a shopping centre across the road with a few bars and restaurants there too if you wish for a change of scenery and a shops for other needs including some for the golfers. There are many courses close by too. We easily caught the bus into Chiclana and made our way to Cadiz and Jerez too in the daytime. However, the hotel does day tours to various places and have a dedicated desk for that if you don’t have a car. If you don’t want to leave the hotel, dine in at one of their restaurants or stay at the bar and watch the evening entertainment. Love this hotel and the staff are an absolute credit to you. Thanks for looking after us and making our trip one to remember. I hope it’s not 20yrs until we see you again.

Very nice overall experience, breakfast and dinner lots of variety and delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff except for one older grumpy male bartender. Nice pool area, reserving sunbeds is not allowed but not respected and not enforced by staff or hotel. Very nice rooms. Everything is kept very clean. Cocktails in lobby bar could benefit from an experienced bartender, mainly presentation wise. When coming back to this region i would probably come back to this hotel.

We stayed in the hotel on Sunday night because we wanted an extra day in the area and from the moment we arrive the staff were super friendly especially Sofia on reception she made our stay 10x better , she’s professional friendly and knows how to keep customers happy from the moment they walk through the doors , food was fabulous and rooms were lovely too! Couldn’t fault it and thanks to Sofia again! We definitely will be back!

A fantastic hotel, definitely worthy of five stars. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beach, the pool, and the rest of the hotel. We really appreciated being allowed to have breakfast earlier when we had to leave for an excursion. Since we arrived after 9:30 PM, we were still served a delicious dinner in our room. Our luggage was also brought up to our room. We would love to come back again.

Excellent beautiful hotel to chill and relax on the Barossa beach front. Excellent and friendly staff, the hotel is spacious perfectly kept, great pool area and offers everything else you need. If you are looking to escape the hassle and bustle of a busy city and enjoy beautiful sunsets and walks along the sandy Barrosa beach then this is a brilliant choice.

Hotel Barrosa Palace is the best hotel we have ever seen. We have stayed four times already here and each time we were delighted with the cleanliness, comfort and delicious dinners and breakfasts. The Barrosa Palace Hotel is the best hotel in Spain!!! And we always choose it, without a doubt.
The managers are very kind, competent and attentive. This hotel is always a priority for us. And we always choose only it.

First, thank you for all the staffs of the hotel. Excellent service, staffs and managers, from hotel reception to entertainment, great place to spend and reminiscing memories. Both myself and my husband are from foreign countries. We got married in Novo Sancti Petri Church and the reception in this hotel 14 years ago, and the feeling we felt still the same. Excellent staffs! the treatment we got from them every time we come is second to none! It's a feeling of being a Family. It feels we had build a long lasting meaningful relationship with the staffs. The service offered and given by staffs are more than and beyond. I remember at my wedding and needed some flower girls and the staff who help us and arranged the little girls for my wedding was greatly appreciated and that the kind of help you'll get from the staffs and even though its not part of their job, they are still willing to help. This is just an example how staff willing to extend their hands to help. And for us, our wedding 14 years ago was the most memorable, even our guest after all this years still talking about the wedding, the hotel, the food, the sea/location and the excellent service! Next year is our 15th wedding anniversary and we are looking forward to celebrate it again with family and friends in this hotel. Our recent visit and stay in the hotel is as good as we had previously though a lot of changes in the interior and exterior of the hotel, which is good in a way, things have to change and improved! Very happy to see all the staffs that are still around who were at our wedding 14 years ago, though some of them are gone and some were placed to other Hiphotels branch, for a change and to move forward and help, teach and share their knowledge and experiences to the new staffs... We always recommend the hotels (Hiphotels) to our family and friends! "This hotel is worth a visit!".
