Great hotel in perfect location. Rooms, service, restaurants - all good!

This resort is ideally located just in front of the "La Barrosa" beach. Although it had an occupation rate close to 90 % during our stay, one did not really feel it at all. The place is always serene and welcoming. The staff is very, very nice. All our interactions were excellent, and they would go the extra mile. Special mention to the housekeeping who kept the room in pristine condition. This was our first stay, but now I understand why some guests keep coming back for may years. We are ready to start our own tradition and will certainly go back soon.

A beautiful venue with excellent staff. Great beach with easy access from hotel which was a real benefit. Stunning pool. Overall a fabulous holiday - we will definitely return.

My wife and I had a great stay at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were great and almost all gave out positive vibes. The hotel and grounds are kept in an immaculate condition and are a credit to the management and staff. The hotel location and the area around Cadiz are truly special.

Lovely resort! Only reason we didn’t give it 5 was that personally for us it was very remote and far from everything we wanted to do. (Cádiz, Jerez, dining out ). We did love the rooftop patio for dinner and the beach bar for lunch and happy hour drinks. Staff were pleasant and wanting to please. We had a beautiful oceanfront suite but unfortunately could only sit out during morning as sun and heat made it unbearable. An umbrella would be a great addition. An excellent resort if you are just wanting to relax poolside or on the beach but not a great choice for people wanting to explore the area.

Great beautiful place. Employees went above and beyond to help out. Always greeted with a huge smile and a hand on heart salute. Cleanliness was sublime. Breakfast in the beautiful El Patio restaurant was divine with an extremely wide range of food. Dinner in the Entrevientos was out of this world. Meats were exceptional. All in all an extremely relaxing and enjoyable 3 days. Thanks to everyone involved.

A very beautiful hotel in the style of a traditional Palace. Low key smart. Attentive staff. Fab pool, breathtaking beach and overall facility. Good choice of restaurants from Michelin to Buffet to bar snacks to a la carte. Beach bar a highlight. Very pretty environment, especially at night when the courtyard garden is lit up and fountains dancing. Tasty contemporary buffet. Great Prawns on grill. We have been visiting for the last 26 years since it opened and seen many evolutions but always for the better. Good sustainability practices.

This is a great beach resort that does not give you the impression of being large. We never have to wait for breakfast or for pool or beach chairs or towels. One reason is that their service is very attentive and professional. Another one is the elegant architecture of the buildings, which are low rise and blend well with the landscape. The facilities are in line with what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, and the main pool is particularly nice, large and well kept. Like in many Melia hotels they offer the Red Level service option, which includes access to a separate more secluded pool. The hotel location is right on the Barrosa Beach and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance. You could even walk to the centre of Sancti Petri. The restaurants and bars are all very good, especially Alevante, their gastronomic proposal which maintains its Michelin star rating for many years now. Their buffet breakfast is spectacular, with all high quality items. Plenty of parking, including valet service. We keep coming back every other summer and it is always a great experience.
