Carlemany Mini-hotel

Had coffee and pastries in their coffee shop earlier in the day which was lovely and had a brilliant vibrant atmosphere so we decided we’d go to the hotel restaurant later when it was time for dinner.

Interior was nice, the place was busy and the dishes on the tables of other patrons looked good.
I ordered the monkfish while my partner had the burger.
Both came out and both looked good but after my second bite I wasn’t happy as the fish was not cooked through and simply wasn’t even hot enough.
I ask the waitress, who really was not very pleasant at any stage of our meal to see if they could heat through.
It came back out and basically looked like the plate was just left under a heat lamp on the pass as the sauce was dried out and plate was slightly warm but the fish however still wasn’t.
I again advised her that the food simply wasn’t cooked through and that the temperature was not more than 45-50 degrees which isn’t good enough. (I am a barista so have a good gauge on temperature to touch)
She handed me a menu and told me to order something else but I advised I ordered monkfish and would like to stick with my order.

At this stage my companion had finished his meal, we were left waiting and when she brought the dish out again it really was so disappointing (see pictures as to why)

I picked at 2-3 pieces of fish but at this stage I was just so disappointed and waist my appetite.

I worked in hospitality for years and food and service such as this is simply unprofessional.

To note, unsatisfactory as this was we paid the bill in full as we did not want to have to try and argue the point and cause a scene.
There was no apology and no offer of a reduction on the bill.

Such bad service and needless to say we will not return here nor recommend this place.
