Hotel Garbi Park & AquaSplash

I can understand why some people might give this negative review. You are not told they will have 80% german students there getting drunk shouting and screaming. Maybe they should really choose to just cater this hotel to students only and the other hotels they own to families. But we personally didn't have any problem with the hotel, the staff was nice to us. There were 2 adults and 2 children. The food was relatively okay, but we planned to eat out anyway, so we were not stuck inside the hotel all day. Sun loungers like most holiday places. If you want a spot, get up nice and early! The big pool was clean, and the small pool was okay. Most of the time, it was empty or very little people in. Sharp parts on the bottom of the pool, though, so be careful. From people going from beach back to hotel and straight into the water. As the beach close by is a horrible blended stone, it's not a normal sand beach. Rooms were tiny for 2 kids, 2 adults, but clean and tidy. And if you rotate the sign on the outside of the handle to let the cleaners know you need clean sheets and towels, etc. By the time you come back, they would have changed them, and they were brilliant. Can't fault the cleaners. Tiny small games room downstairs in the hotel and a bar inside and outside the pool side. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available depending on the package you have. Upgrade If you want to. To work the aircon, make sure the key is in the slot and the balcony door is closed. This is to stop you wasting aircon and letting it straight out the door. It isn't the fastest and comes out slow. You get two keys, so we left the aircon on whilst we were out exploring. Lots and lots of local shops close by as well as restaurants etc. If you want drinks from the hotel, my recommendation is to use the vendor machine there as it's cheaper for coke and water, etc, or go to the shops. We did a shop at the local supermarkets for junk and nibbles for nighttime. And lastly, be respectful to the staff and they will respect you back. If you have an attitude, expect it back.

We had a family vacation in Lloret de Mar and we stayed in Garbi Park Hotel room 535. The location was great despite the noisy nights from the party goers 😜. Have to mention one of recep girls Ana she was very helpfull to make our stay comfortable since she took care of our request to change our room since it wasn't up to the standart that a 4☆ hotel should offer. Housekeeping staff was very nice and hardworking since we found our room perfectly clean everytime we came back from our daily routine. Overall the hotel is worth of money considering the location and the Aqua Splash if your traveling with kids. Breakfast and dinner was more than enough to enjoy. The only negative thing I could mention was the noise since the location was very central and close to bars so we had to bear the until late hours shouting and swearing from young teens but again this was not hotel's fault.
