Hotel Gran Garbi & AquaSplash

Me and my family stayed here from 15th - 22nd of August..
The staff were all really nice and are willing to help you with anything, they really keep on top of the general cleaning of the resort.
The rooms are small for a family of 4 and a bit outdated but the way I saw it was we are not here to sit in the room all day it's just for sleeping in.. the air con didn't work the first night for us but we reported it to reception and it was fixed the very next day. Beds where made for us every morning and also fresh new towels.
The pools are brilliant for the kids my two boys age 7 and 3 loved them. And the aqua park they absolutely loved with all of the slides. Make sure you bring along a beach blanket of some sort as the sun loungers are like gold dust but there is lots of room to lay down a blanket at the aqua splash.
The food is very basic for the kids.. fish and chips, nuggets and chips, pizza. My boys love that kind of stuff so it was a win for us!, food for the adults was very nice lots of new things to try and alot of things that I would make at home for dinners, we was all inclusive and I have no complaints about the food whatever.
All inclusive drinks - is your fizzy drinks (Pepsi, cloudy lemonade, 7up and a couple others.)
Alcoholic drinks - we tried all of the cocktails and they where very nice.
There are lots of shops close buy to get gifts and bits for yourself.
The beach is not far away. But my 3 year old did struggle somedays with the walking too and from so I would say if you don't have a very confident walker bring a pram.
The evening entertainment was also very good there is a kids mini disco before the main event, the magic show my oldest loved and now believes magic is real.
All in all would I come back to this resort YES I would! It was a lovely holiday and the best memories where made.

My family and I recently stayed at Hotel Gran Garbi, and I can't express enough how delightful our experience was. The rooms in the hotel are really disappointing - too small, you have literally no space there. The room for 4 was made by adding 2 single beds so we ended up sleeping all together in a long row of beds. Rooms are old school, we had blocked drains in the shower which caused flooding all the time and there was a nasty smell of mold from the air conditioner. The huge plus of the hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms, the cleaner was there every day and most of the service room was so lovely. In the bar or restaurants most of the service was fantastic as well, but the absolutely huge star of this hotel was animator Sergio - he makes an outstanding atmosphere there, absolutely joyful to meet people like him and I think he is the best part of this place. The location of the hotel is okay, really close to the beaches from both sides and literally everywhere.

Everyone was extremely nice! Even the people who stayed there themselves. You had a lot of choices among food, everyday something new. They also refill it immediately so you never run out of food. You're room gets cleaned everyday and is overall really clean and comfortable.
The location is also great! there is a water park one street from the hotel and you have a lot of other stores near the hotel. The beach is also just a about a 7 min walk. The kids will always be entertained by the shows they keep every evening, even adults enjoyed it a lot. The only thing we were a little disappointed about was the wifi, the connection was pretty bad and wasn't even available most of the days we've spend there. We've asked the receptionist what caused it, and she said it's because a lot of people are using it.
Overall I would definitely recommend this Hotel especially when you're looking for a hotel that is also kid-friendly.

Good value for money. The rooms are a bit small and dated, not four stars. The rest of the areas in the hotel, the pools and the aquasplash are great and very nicely kept. The dinner buffet was surprisingly good and varied given the price I payed. Everyone should be able to find something to eat here. The breakfast was so-so, a lot to choose from but mostly very unhealthy choices. If you like sweet pastries with jam, nutella or honey on top for breakfast you won't be disappointed. There was some entertainment of varied quality in the evenings. But given what I payed for the stay I think it was good and thus recommend a stay.
