Run down old hotel definitely not 4 star more like 2 stars . No kettle in room even when I asked for one , poor food selection see pics, 45 e for a safe in the room which had a key rather than a code , old bedding with cigarette burns in it, weak ac with no control, all inclusive options very poor, black mould in bathroom, booked through love holidays who couldn't care less about the issues, transfer from airport to hotel took nearly 3 hours would avoid. PS full of French people .

Stayed here many times, food is great, rooms tidy and well kept, it's close to the beach, and town, but still quiet at night, pools well maintained, good entertainment and bar staff very nice. Great water park attached to it too! Great for young families, and couples

Very Disappointing Stay – Rude Staff & Poor Service I stayed at Hotel Gran Garbi in Lloret de Mar and unfortunately had a very poor experience. One of the worst moments was when a staff member shouted at my 10-year-old son and made a scene in front of the entire restaurant, embarrassing both of us. They then spoke to another staff member in Spanish, clearly knowing they were in the wrong. About 10 minutes later, they came over and apologised — but the damage was already done. There are hardly any sunbeds available, and if you’re lucky enough to get one, don’t expect to move a chair nearby. I was told off just for putting a chair next to a sunbed so my partner and I could sit together. The food was nothing special, and most of the bar staff were just as rude. On more than one occasion I asked for ice, and they simply walked off and ignored me. You can only get one drink at a time, which means you can’t even order for your kids. There’s no pool bar at the main pool, so when you go inside for a drink, you get told off for coming in wet. One tall, bald staff member was particularly rude — he even seemed to threaten cutting off a family member’s wristband, which was completely unnecessary. That said, there were a couple of lovely bar staff — the lady behind the bar was always polite, and the man with the bun was friendly and helpful. When booking, it clearly stated we would get a double bed, but we were given two singles pushed together. The rooms themselves were okay for short stays, but not ideal for a bigger family — and they were far from perfect. The toilet in our room was broken, and the shower head was faulty, falling on our heads more than once. Everything felt a bit dodgy and in need of maintenance. The only real positives were the lovely staff who cleared the food plates — they were polite and friendly — and the maid on the 2nd floor who cleaned our room brilliantly every day. I didn’t catch her name, but she was amazing. I also want to give credit to the water park staff — they were fantastic. One of our family members got hurt, and they were quick, kind, and professional in helping them. Overall, the negatives far outweighed the positives, and the experience was stressful rather than relaxing. I would not recommend this hotel.

Family hotel, minimal sunbeds and umbrellas but space to lay on towels if needed its a rce at 7-8 am to get a sun bed. room cleaned every day but under the bed still had crumbs and god knows what. probably say this is more of a 3 star hotel - food is okay but very basic and all inclusive doesn't start till 1030.

There were pros and cons. The pools were nice, but the water was very deep which wasn't ideal for us with young children. There were about 30 sun loungers for a hotel with 500+ rooms. The water park area was really good. The canteen food was fine, but very busy and long queues for each station. There were good choices for meat eaters but almost 0 vegetarian options, even most of the salads had meat in them. All the staff were friendly, with exception of the hotel manager. The rooms were cleaned every day by really lovely cleaners, but unfortunately we found our room had bed bugs. The manager reluctantly agreed to let us change rooms, but to a cheaper room and at no discount. He refused even to help us move our bags. He found the situation very amusing and was super rude.
The rooms are tiny, we had a family room, which was 4 single beds pushed up against eachother to squeeze into the room. Paper thin walls between neighbouring rooms, so you can hear everything!
The entertainment was good, our kids loved the kids discos.
The hotel is situated in a party area, so its really, really loud at night. If you're a young person looking for a party holiday you'll love the area, but we found other the towns nearby much better for families.

Will never be coming back to this hotel again. First of all the food after going all inclusive I regretted the day I got there the food was very under cooked and very mix matched food. I asked about could they cater to additional needs and was told “no”. The food from tea time gets served AGAIN at breakfast for instance multiple times, lasts nights veg/chips/salad was served for BREAKFAST!! Same food every other day. Milkshake machine was broken, juice machine was filled up if it was a good day! The waiters literally don’t wait for you to finish before their taking plates and cutlery away. The staff! The bar staff were great and friendly but our favourite was “Jose” he was kind, caring and compassionate! Every service was exceptional and nothing was too much. The entertainment was all in Spanish which was fine but not very great entertainment for evening.The kids entertainment was just a mini disco of the same 5 songs every evening. The children’s female entertainer named “Blanca” was rude, unprofessional and shocking attitude right through out the holiday! On one occasion she excluded my child out and proceeded to point & laugh with another Spanish resident at myself and my 5 year old child. (Evidence of this and will be taking to social media) When confronted and asked for name to report she smirked and gave the most abrupt, rude answer! Imagine being a child’s entertainer and excluding children that have travelled on holiday! She absolutely made my child not want to get involved in any activities that she was hosting! HOWEVER there was a male children’s entertainer called “pedro” and he was exceptionally well mannered, fun, loving and entertaining. He included everyone and made sure everyone was having a great time. He deserves a pay rise, while Blanca deserves the sack!! The was she was this was noticed between other British familys. The decking round the pool at the main entrance was broken so had to be careful were you was walking. The sun loungers bases were cracked. Sun loungers broken. Indoor pool closed. Couldn’t hire ping pong bats due to them having no balls. Very minimal entertainment and for the price we paid the service didint meet it. I requested at reception to speak to the manager and waited and not one manager approached. I stayed from the 1st July to 11th July and to be quite honest we couldn’t wait to get home. Over £3000 for a family of 5 we paid for this hotel and honestly it was absolutely appalling.

Rooms are clean but not modern , 4 star hotel but no kettle in the room , room remember 90s, pretty same food every day , staff in restaurant is watching you all the time , no chicken nuggets for kids , food pretty cold every time , snack bar staff " old Spanish grey hair " not very nice problematic person , there rest of staff very nice . No music on swimming pool until 3:30pm . Same activity every night at 9pm Mini disco.

Overall, a poor hotel with low value for money. Food – disappointing: mostly tasteless and repetitive. Reception and restaurant staff – seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than assisting guests. They rarely greeted anyone and often ignored guests' attempts to say hello. Rooms – several maintenance issues, such as a hole in the door and a broken toilet flush, which were not addressed during the stay. The only positive was the housekeeping – the rooms were cleaned regularly and thoroughly, and I was satisfied with the level of cleanliness. This hotel is nowhere near 4-star standard, definitely do not recommend.

The restaurants food wasn’t very inclusive as it was mainly pork, majority of the food was dry and i had to eat out, the pool is not very big, the mini fridge and air con barely works. location is good, but that’s all that’s good about this hotel, i don’t know how it managed to get 4 stars. i am disappointed
