Exceptional Stay – Outstanding Service from Honey!
I had an amazing stay at Catalonia Maquinista! The hotel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with great amenities. However, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service, especially from Honey, the manager.
Honey went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made me feel truly valued as a guest. It’s clear that he takes great pride in providing top-notch hospitality, and his leadership reflects in the overall service of the hotel.

Had a fantastic stay at Catalonia Maquinista ! The rooms were clean, the amenities were great, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Honey, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His professionalism and helpful attitude made a huge difference. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience!

This Catalonia location is right next to an outdoor shopping plaza that has several restaurants, stores, supermarket - movie theatre it has it all. Day and evening Concierge staff were amazing! Very welcoming, attentive and ready to support. The room had a comfortable bed, nice bathroom and desk area with a large window. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet for 15 euros, and also served lunch and dinner. Food was always hot and delicious. Their hosts/hostesses were also very helpful and ready to please. The spa was relaxing and a bonus! Buses H6 & H8 were frequent and took you close enough into the city with nice scenery along the way. The subway is a quick 5min H6 bus ride or 15 minute walk. Explore the plaza nearby the subway stop, it's cute and very typical of Spanish neighborhoods. Definitely recommend and will stay again!

In the past I already booked rooms in other Catalonia Hotels in Barcelona, so I expected high quality here as well.
And I was right. Room was perfectly clean and nice, people who work here are very VERY polite and friendly to their guests (it is one of the main reasons why I return to the same hotels in my new trips).
And this time I was especially impressed by SPA here. It is very high quality and super-clean wellness, where guests can relax and enjoy very efficient jacuzzi, two saunas, relaxing drinks, small but nice swimming pool.
I definitely recommend to book this hotel and to try gym, wellness and massage here!

Beautifully organized and good interior hotel. Stayed here from October 16-21 with family. Highly recommended! Bus stop to get to all the touristy attractions are just across the street. Subway station (train L1) is about 10 mins walk. Hotel is right next to a huge mall with a ton of food options. Hotel rooms looked newly renovated and had a fresh energy. We even had a breakfast one morning, decent selection of food. Highly recommended!

Great Value for money! The hotel is very nice with a very friendly staff, and amazing breakfast! This is all you need in Barcelona.
It is a bit far from the downtown but very well connected in transportation and very close to a big shopping center.

Great place to be in.
The staff from reception and the Spa are great and very friendly.
Also, the place is in great location too. One bus away from everywhere.
Westfield Shopping centre around the corner. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful, especially Alfredo & Nereo (& everyone else!). The location is out of town but public transport is excellent so only 30 minutes in to Catalunya. We would definitely stay here again.

I have to mention first of all the staff professionalism, they went up and down to guide us in visiting Barcelona as this was our first time in the city. Many thanks to Jordi and Alfredo, nice meeting you guys.
Rooms are large and clean, very good breakfast and the underground station is 10 min walk away of hotel. It took us 30 min to Catalunya Square from the moment we left our room.

The place is good but we just needed to keep asking for some basic stuff like coffee tray , dental kit etc. otherwise a nice place to stay. The station is a 15 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is about 40 mins from the main tourist spots.
