Hotel Samba

We went as a group of friends. You get what you pay for. Yes the hotel is dated, but it isn't a 5*. The location was brilliant, the food was OK- like you would expect. We only ended up having breakfast and some evening meals. We prefer to eat out. We visited Barcelona which wasn't far and enjoyed some quality time with friends on holiday.

very good staf and food also area was cheap . The hotel is near the sea so its very good for people who comes here to swim in the sea also there is a big swimming pool and many games also bartenders were very nice to me I really love this place. But I must warn you The staff will be nice to you untill you dont mess with them.

Nice hotel in a great location in Lloret de Mar. Hallways and room was clean and well maintained, and the food was as to be expected. The nightlife and atmosphere is great with dancing, karaoke and games! The hotel is on top of a hill but is close to local shops and amenities and around a 10 minute walk to the beachfront. Would recommend!

I liked the location, it was close to the beach. The service was nice, the food was very good, there were nice rooms, the reception staff are excellent, there was the manager Gennaro and a boy I think his name was Mahdi, they were very kind to us, they treated us very well, congratulations to the hotel for having staff like them, thank you .\.

I'm currently staying at this hotel, been two nights so far and I have to say every thing had exceeded expectations so far.

The staff have been absolutely wonderful, always a smile on their faces regardless of the time or how busy it has been. Any time I've had a query they've gone above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and I.

All inclusive is pretty standard and quite easy to follow, you are given one card per person to take to the bar in exchange for a drinking glass, simply bring it back when finished to get your card back.

The pool is lovely, deep and a fair size. The sun loungers are comfy with a lovely little pool side bar to serve you without going too far. A lift is available to the pool area for those with mobility issues.

The breakfast is fantastic with a great selection, lunch and dinner have the same selection but again, lots of variety and plenty of flavour. The fish dishes were a particular delight. It can of course get busy but the lines move fast and plenty of seating available.

The entertainment is standard for a Spanish resort, it's good cheesy fun with good tunes and a charismatic entertainer, we had a good laugh at all the people dancing away like they were 19 again.

In all this hotel has been tremendous, it looks great, the rooms are brilliant, the bathrooms whilst dated are still top notch and everything works.

I would also like to thank the hotel engineer and maintenance guy, we ordered a mini fridge to the room and he delivered it fairly quickly, during delivery we noted that we would have to purchase an extension cable to use it and 15 minutes later he came back to the door with an extension cable, without being prompted or asking. He spoke very little English but still was considerate and understanding enough to create a great customer experience.

Well done hotel Samba, we are here until Saturday and the experience has truly made our holiday unforgettable so far.
