Description
Budget hotel of 4* category, located directly on the promenade of Malgrat de Mar. Most of the rooms have sea views. Under the railway, passing between the Marina and the beach, laid out a number of subways with easy access to the sea. From the hotel is possible in an hour to reach the center of Barcelona, suitable train (the hotel is located at the same distance from the train station Malgrat de Mar and Santa Susanna). The hotel is on the waterfront many shops and a few discos.

Location: 80 km from Barcelona airport, 35 km from Girona airport, 500 m from the center of Barcelona, 100 m from the beach.
Consists of one 7-storey building.
The hotel has 200 rooms. There are 5 rooms for disabled persons (1 room with shower, no tub).
Beach: public sand (Platja de Malgrat) 100 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). Between the hotel and the beach is a road, a railway; there is an underground transition. On the beach umbrellas, chairs, mattresses: free. Pool towels: Deposit. The beach is 900 m.

Food was of a good standard, and all the staff were friendly except for the lad who greets you at the restaurant (we’d read about him in other peoples reviews). He absolutely shouldn’t be working in that role it’s almost as if he goes out of his way to make you feel unwelcome.
The pool is a good size but definitely could do with a good clean.
Our room was cleaned every single day and as a nice touch they left a tote bag with some sweets in on our last day.
All in all it’s a decent enough hotel, just needs a bit of a freshen up.
I'm another one to state that if you're British, avoid this place. Treated like you're invisible.
Had an issue and I couldn't speak to anyone at reception, so I used an online portal to email the hotel staff. Instead of replying to me or seeking more information about my issue, they waited for me in the restaurant and told me I wasn't allowed to email with questions.
The pool was unusable, freezing cold and dirty too, lots of scum around it. Indoor pool smelled like drains too.
Surrounding area is nice.
The staff is friendly and always ready to solve your problem, especially Marta, she will always help you! The food is delicious, everyone will be able to find something to eat. The hotel rooms are neat and always cleaned.
For a trip with the family, this is an ideal option. If I visit Spain again, I will choose this hotel again!
