• The room was well equipped and featured a beautiful bathroom.
• We had a spacious room with a pool view, fully functional air conditioning, and a large balcony.
• Breakfasts were excellent. ❤️
• We booked an all-inclusive package – while lunches and dinners could be improved slightly, the variety of options ensured that even less demanding guests could always find something to enjoy.
• There were plenty of sun loungers by the pool, which was consistently clean and well maintained.
• The bar offered a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to suit all preferences.

In the restaurant, they don’t serve drinks for lunch or dinner, and you’re not allowed to bring your own. The staff was absolutely terrible — this was the biggest downside of the hotel. Everyone was constantly rude, arrogant, and unfriendly. When you ask for simple tap water during lunch or dinner, they roll their eyes and give you a jug while looking down on you.
three young ladies were absolutely rude and unpleasant They wanted to kick me out of the table because I was sitting there alone, but I was just waiting for my friends.
At the reception, there was often an older bald man who was extremely unpleasant and rude. One time, I needed to enter my friends’ room just to get my hairdryer but he didn’t let me, justifying it by saying that he didn’t feel like it.
But! The best person on the entire staff was the elderly lady DJ — she was very kind, positive, and truly humane.
There are many hotels with the luxury, but the staff are not friendly, or you get hotels that aren’t particularly nice but the staff are nice. This hotel has all of it. I’ve not encountered one even remotely miserable staff member, not even cleaning staff, and a big big mention to the bar man at Harry’s Bar and the lovely hostess in the restaurant. Everyone seems to love their job and it’s makes such a difference! The hotel is spotless, we could smell the lemon cleaning from the minute we opened the doors! Sun beds for days, the pool is beautiful, the food we could not fault (and I have 2 fussy adults with me!) the location is perfect for those who love to mooch around the shops (trust me there’s enough of them!) and if you have children, there’s a brilliant big arcade style park 5 minutes down the road.
I will rave and recommend this hotel till the cows come home!!
Thank you Alegria Maripins, from the Girls in 118 🫶🏼
Nice modern hotel good breakfast nice air conditioning in room would definitely stay there again
Visited a few years back and was fabulous. This year was very disappointed. The food was terrible, the hot buffet was mostly cold, and the room was average, the balcony view was disappointing, and the bathroom arrangement was poor
1. Location – In most rooms, you are not going to have a sea view, BUT it is really close to the sea and the beach, just 3 minutes away.
2. Food – Diverse, with super tasty desserts, BUT the meat was occasionally not fresh, and two people in our group had stomach problems. Other than that, breakfast and dinner had a good variety and taste. The kitchen staff were polite and accommodating, even providing us with normal glasses for wine instead of the paper ones we had in the room.
What went WRONG – spoiler: 90% of the stay:
1. Cleanliness – From the first day of check-in, the room was dirty, some utilities were broken (shower, curtains, etc.), we received torn new towels, and there were dirty towels in the wardrobe. The mirrors had fingerprints, as if no one had cleaned them, and some pillows had a strange smell. After requesting a more thorough cleaning, a very rude cleaning lady came and used inappropriate Spanish words toward us (she didn’t know one person in our group could understand Spanish). Subsequent cleanings were very basic but acceptable. We received torn towels almost the entire week of our stay 😂 (Check photos).
2. After one cleaning session, we discovered our room was not properly closed (see photos).
3. Only a few staff members understood English. Most of the staff didn’t understand us, forcing us to call 3-4 times to get what we needed (like extra towels, as the ones provided were either dirty or torn).
4. What made me the angriest was the manager, who didn’t want to listen or even apologize. He tried to shout at us, even though we were calmly explaining the issues. The staff viewed our requests as rude, mixing up who among the three of us was supposedly rude. This seemed to be a defense strategy, as we were simply presenting facts. They suggested that maybe our “EXPECTATIONS were too high” without even sending a technician to fix the shower, etc. When we showed the administrator (a young lady) the photos, she understood and respected our feedback. However, the manager didn’t seem surprised or make any note to avoid such cases in the future. After telling him, “Okay, we understand maybe Spain is not an extremely rich country, and the hotel might have a limited budget for renovations, but at least clean properly,” he got angry and shifted the conversation toward patriotism (even though it wasn’t about that) instead of listening to valid feedback. I’m still unsure if he understands English fluently.
5. The photos on Booking.com are not accurate and don’t reflect reality. We booked a room for 3 people, but there was very little space, and the third person had to sleep right next to the balcony doors. I suspect it was originally a room for two people, and due to overbooking, they just added a third bed directly next to The balcony and had only 5 cm of space between the bed and the balcony doors, so in the end, guests had to jump over the bed to go outside because the bed was blocking the balcony door 🤔. The shower door was transparent, and the bathroom had no door at all, so the other guests in the room could see everything while you were showering.
6. The hotel is rated 4 stars, and that’s where the problem begins. If it were a 2-star hotel, no one would have any complaints because you don’t expect much from a 2-star hotel. But when you rank your hotel as 4 stars and in the room, you have 3 paper cups for the whole week, no kettle, and a run-down room, you start to realize how absurd the situation is.
The pool is what some people say ‘just a pool’. (If you are lucky to have one in your backyard like one of the other reviews stated then lucky you and maybe a cheaper hotel like this isn’t for you) but it’s a pool none the less and we had great fun in it throughout the holiday.
Food: (we went all inclusive) breakfast served from 7:30an to 10am. Yes there were queues at some times because the dining hall got full, but you were never waiting for longer than 15 mins absolute max to get in there. The queues were mainly at the latter end of the morning when all the people who have had a lie in get up. (We went down around 8am most mornings and were in straight away)
Lunch was between 1pm to 2.30pm and Tea was between 7pm and 9:15pm. The selection of food was similar most days with slight changes at each meal, however still plenty of variety to cater for everyone. Honestly no complaints, the selection even helped me try new foods that I hadn’t tried before and can now say I enjoy.
Rooms: yes they are in the smaller side, but honestly what do you need a massive room for when you’re in holiday anyway? I haven’t paid to go on holiday to spend all my time in the hotel room. We had a double bed and a single bed in our room and still had room to put the travel cot up for our son. Yes it did mean I had to move it around to get in the wardrobe occasionally but honestly a very very minor inconvenience to my day at the most. Certainly not enough for me to come and leave an ‘awful’ review on the hotel because I clearly wanted to do backflips and other activities in my room rather than enjoy my holiday.
Location: literally situated right on the sea front. Nice selection of shops, bars and restaurants along it. Malgrat de Mar town just a 20 minute walk in one direction and Santa Susanna in the other. Admittedly not loads of activities to do within a close vicinity of the hotel but the train station isn’t too far away and we used this to travel in to Blanes and were going to go to Barcelona but didn’t get round to it.
Please to anyone reading this that has been put off by the negative reviews as I was just days before going on my holiday. I can almost guarantee that those bad reviews were left by people expecting far too much or with too high standards. (Coming from me who is incredibly high maintenance and finicky) this hotel was absolutely lovely for my first ever family holiday with my little boy and I have nothing but good memories from it all.
