Reviews
Understated perfection.
50ft from the railway station, which you never notice. Mini market directly outside. Indoor and outdoor pools, both with jacuzzi's and hardly anyone here at the end of May. Caters for B&B, half and full board (all inclusive available). Buffet meals which are really well stocked with lots of choice. Prompt friendly service everywhere in the hotel from bar to room service.
We really loved staying here and we'll be back.
for value for money stay it is worth it. The staff are incredibly sweet and really make your stay nice in all aspects. The breakfast is ok but what I would expect. If a coffee machine was in the room it would be better. Would return for another long weekend. The pool area is fab if not a bit loud with all the activities
From the perspective of a student tour, the hotel is fine. Pretty decent breakfast buffet. The rooms are clean, beds are relatively comfortable, bathrooms are pretty nice. The staff was friendly.
I would not recommend this hotel for personal travel. While the pool/sea view rooms are nice during the day, there is VERY loud music every night until 1130. It's impossible to sleep with the music which is frustrating after a long day touring or an early flight. Those fortunate to have mountain view rooms didn't really hear the music. There are no wash cloths. There is a hair dryer and soap/ shampoo in the shower. There is not a coffee maker in the room, nor in the lobby. Breakfast doesn't open until 8 so there's no coffee for early risers.
The location is nice, a 5 min walk to the beach. There are a lot of little souvenir shops very close.
The all inclusive was great with the bar being open from 11AM - 11PM. Some reviews mention this as a shock but most hotels I have stayed at have had very similar services.
All the staff have been helpful and have had a great attitude.
The bar staff have also been amazing with table service even with all inclusive. Joel and Atouch in the bar team always greet you with a smile and have had fantastic service all week certainly made the holiday.
Absolutely would stay here again.
We arrived after a long 1000km drive, exhausted and just wanting to get some rest. Right away, we realized the “parking” was just an unsafe spot on the street, in an area known for robberies. Naturally, we wanted to empty our car before something happened to our belongings, so we quickly put our dogs in the room while we handled the luggage.
That’s when the nightmare started. The receptionist girl was extremely rude and insisted we pay a €10 deposit for the parking key before letting us into the actual parking — while our car was still full of valuables and our dogs were locked in the room. She refused to give us access or even let us return to the room until we paid, acting like we were about to run away or steal something. It was ridiculous and insulting.
After a long and unnecessary argument with her and another receptionist, we finally gave in and paid this deposit just to be able to get back to our dogs and unload our car. No compassion, no hospitality — just attitude.
To add the room itself was old and clearly not well maintained.
The bathroom was a particular disappointment: the soap provided was of the kind you’d find at a petrol station and was available only in the shower, leaving nothing at the sink.
Additionally, the room was unbearably noisy. Positioned between the sea and a train line, the constant rumble of passing trains was impossible to ignore.
The bed was super hard and we woke up with back pain.
To top it all off, this hotel is far from the 4-star experience one would expect—in reality, it feels more like a 1-star dump.
The overall vibe of the establishment suggests it’s designed for people who plan to spend most of their time dining out, as the breakfast provided was sad and terrible.
If you enjoy being treated like garbage - this is the place for you. If not, stay far away. We tried to cancel our stay after we realized the parking is not safe, and of course, they refused.
Food Quality:
- Biggest disappointment. You expect good quality in all-inclusive restaurant. NOPE. Meals were from underwhelming to outright unedible. Overcooked pasta, terrible pasta sauce, sometimes undercooked hard-to-chew meat, runny eggs that weren't cooked well enough. Soggy fries, stale pastries, low quality ham/cheese. Terrible sea food. Only fruits and melons were good.
- Coffee/tea machines are turned off during lunches and dinners.
Cleanliness:
- Dirty plates and cutlery often required checking. Yuck!
Bar:
- Mojito and pina colada not included in all-inclusive. Wtf.
- Every drink felt artificial, not good, very low quality.
- I had the worst milkshake ever in my life in there. Tastes like liquid puding with sugar.
Rooms:
- Outdated decor, poor blanket quality, ugly curtains, dirty bedsheets, dirty bed under the mattress
- Floor is made of concrete, cold and uncomfortable, no carpet.
- Outdated and old bathrooms, broken showerhead, moldy walls and ceiling in the bathroom.
Hotel & Services:
- the "gym" is a bad joke
- AC in the lobby turned on even when it's cold outside
Some positives:
- nice pool, good location, close to the beach and train station. Relatively nice staff.
Majority of the food was absolutely bland and tasteless — no salt, no nothing. Chicken was raw, sunny-side-up eggs were served with extra runny whites. Desserts (cheesecake etc.) were served frozen multiple times and tasted super artificial, same goes for the orange juice. The pastries were stale, ham and cheese were low quality. Lunch had its moments with good paellas and risottos, but the fries were almost always soggy. There was no coffee available at lunch. To top it off, you constantly had to check the plates and cutlery for cleanliness — they were often dirty.
The bar experience was also disappointing. The most favorite drinks such as mojito or pina colada are not included in the all-inclusive package. On the other hand, the drinks that were included were quite strong, so at least that.
The hotel itself is a weird mix of old and new. While the lobby and bar look somewhat modern, the rest of the hotel is stuck in the past. The hallways, stairs, and canteen feel like an old school building. Despite the chilly weather outside, the air conditioning was blasting indoors, making it uncomfortable and unnecessarily cold throughout our stay. Most of the guests had a cough. Our room was outdated, blankets were odd and uncomfortable. Also, you couldn’t get any fresh air without opening the entire door and leaving your room vulnerable, as anyone could easily climb over the fence between the balconies on the first floor. The balcony was big, but with cheap plastic chairs that looked like they’d been there since the hotel opened.
In summary, we were disappointed with nearly every aspect of our stay. From a 4* hotel, we expected much more.
Food was absolutely amazing, tasty, fresh I believe everyone could find something for themselves.
Lots of sunbeds at the pool, very close to the beach and supermarkets.
Would recommend!
Lots of activities for kids and adults.
Thank you to all staff for making our family holidays unforgettable.
