Hotels on first line in Marbella

The hotel reception was not as fancy as expected but the customer service is excellent. The rooms refurbished and has a welcoming atmosphere. I got a garden view and a very quiet room

The entrance to the hotel in the evenings is extremely busy , but the location can’t be better. The hotel is blocks of 3-4 story buildings. The car park can be a problem

The only downside is that there were mosquitos in the room

The hotel management did not take responsibility for any theft that occurred on their property even though the director told our friend they would reimburse her. If I were you I would stay in a more secure hotel

Even though the manager said it was the first time we found out from two other couples that they were robbed within the same week

Really nice hotel, ideal location as it is very close to the main areas we wanted to visit, the hotel itself was clean and fairly high standard. Not a 5 star but would certainly say it is good

Among the shortcomings: small rooms (lived in premium), poor light isolation characteristics (thin curtains), a small closet, hallway and bathroom. In the bathroom, it's time to change the plumbing

Outstanding location, clean rooms, great views, excellent food, and wonderful people. Isabel welcomed us and was very kind to our small family. She was great at getting us reservations

Every person was kind and sincerely wanted to help. The sushi restaurant had great views of the sea, with first class sushi. Steak house was spacious with great selection

We enjoyed the food in all restaurants and they didn’t disappoint. We tried the beach area one day and we loved it but did miss the very attentive staff of the pool area

A big thank you to Gonzalo and Flores for looking after us at breakfast. Adrian,Raul,and Rafa have your seats ready for you when you arrive at the pool every morning

Outstanding location, superb facilities and friendly staff. I highly recommend to stay on red level. The pool area is fantastic specially the area near the bar and glass rails

Next to the old town, short walk from the beach. If you love spending time outside, this is the place to stay. Walls are super thin, you can hear snoring, conversations etc way too clearly

Exceptional location, our room was facing the main park of the city. Perfect for evening walks, literally within the historical Old Town, beaches are 5-10 minutes walking distance

brilliant hotel service. fact that there is no swimming pool is the only downside which wouldve given it 5 stars from me

Half-board was perfect, average breakfast and the possibility to choose between lunch (1pm to 4pm) or dinner (8pm to 10pm). Menu for lunch/dinner included best selection of local specialties

A nice hotel with a good location. Did have some problems with key cards not working but with the 24 hour reception everything was easily sorted.

Showers sometimes give steady temperature, other times radically changing between cold and hot

She arranged for all our transportation (to/from hotel and a trip to Gilbratar with a private tour guide, arranged our spa time and my hair appointment)

I have since been back with girlfriends and my husband for several holidays and cannot recommend enough! The food is outstanding, staff incredibly courteous and incorporate old fashioned customer service which is incredibly hard to find these days

I agree with the other review that the breakfast (at the Oasis, not Don Carlos hotel) was really VERY good. The other restaurants on the property were very average

The only things that spoils the experience is. There are too many steps to go anywhere. If you want to go to the beach it us quite a walk. The food that is served in the Bahia restaurant could be more varied

The spa was fantastic, especially the hot pool surrounded by beautiful trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Being so close to the sea was a huge bonus, making it easy to enjoy the beach

ideal for young family’s! It literally has everything multiple pools in/outdoor beach on its doorstep playgrounds activities throughout the day to book breakfast buffet and other food options during the day! You will need to rent a car if you want to venture out and its location is also very close to multiple food restaurants

The apartments are very clean and comfortable and if you have any issues the staff will make sure they can address it as best they can. Also washing machine and dryer in rooms so makes things easier with kids

Gorgeous hotel. Really clean and rooms are spacious and really comfortable. Staff are excellent. Antonio on reception is so helpful. Courtesy transport to La Cabane beach club which is very luxurious. Highly recommended

I absolutely loved the hotel, service and luxury feel. The food was delicious (expensive but delicious). La Cabane was out of this world and I hope to be back. I practised my spanish but the staff had excellent English

Weddings every week although I heard and saw nothing. I can see why it's popular to be married there. Dream location, 100% recommend

At first glance, its overwhelming beautiful but, as the days progress you start to notice the cracks ( sometimes literally). Cons: Room was not properly cleaned daily

It’s close to the beach, nightlife, puerto and shopping mall. I used to go to this hotel before its renovation and it changed in all good ways. It looks much nicer with modern rooms

Perfect location, newly renovated hotel. Beautiful breakfast, rooms cleaned daily. Loved that they don't start too early so it is nice and quiet in the mornings. 30 for people who likes to sleep in and plenty of choice

I had a good time with my family at Occidental Puerto Banus. It was a short stay but nevertheless unforgettable. The sofa bed was comfortable enough for our child. The main bed was huge, it could actually fit 3 there

(2 beds joined together) The room was just not prepared when we checked in. It was missing towels & beddings for our child. They fixed everything after I complained about it

Great place and reasonably priced. Room was very big indeed and even though the view was in the roundabout and the busy A7, noise was negligible.

If you are looking for a mass resort, look elsewhere (scoff), what the Marbella Club does well is continue on its legacy of being a supreme quality resort, doing everything you would want impeccably well and retaining the old sense of style that adorned the Costa del Sol

We loved our stay at Marbella Club Hotel. Initially we were a bit afraid it would be tacky, but it was not at all. We were there in the low season (January) which was very nice, not too many people and service was great

I have stayed at many hotels the world over, and have lived in the area for a very long time, staying and dining at this hotel whenever the occasion presents itself, and I can say comfortably that this is my favourite hotel

It doesn't boast fifty swimming pools or eighty Michelin star restaurants, it doesn't have golden night clubs or restaurants serving steaks with gold on top of them. To some, this may be a bad thing, to me it is heaven

I recently visited The Art located in the Golden Mile Center, right in front of Marbella Club, and I must say, the place is amazing! The staff is incredibly cordial, and the selection of products they offer to furnish your home is top-notch

We were there over the weekend to celebrate St. The hotel stands out as a whole for its elegance, nature and, best of all, all its people who make you feel at home and surrounded by family

The Great Hotel Guadalpin Banus is a fantastic hotel located on the beach of Puerto Banús where you can rest and enjoy in the spacious rooms and magnificent terraces overlooking the sea, very close to the famous Ocean Club, the beach is full of bars and restaurants where you can You can eat very well, you can take a walk by the sea to San Pedro Alcántara and Marbella, international atmosphere, excellent...

Great hotel in a great location. Gorgeous beach, promenade, shops. All within walking distance. Get a room overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

We really liked the location, beach (live music, DJ, towels and confortable sunbeds) and vibe. The food at the restaurant and breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned every day and the pool is spacious

The pool and outdoor jacuzzi stay open all night. The sushi and pina colada at the pool were delicious. The room is beautiful with a gorgeous view - we have The One room with sea view

Absolutely loved it - highly recommended and fairly reasonable for the high quality. One small gripe which was solved to my satisfaction was that the allergy menu didn't reflect the allergens present in the food

The best Hotel in Marbella! Beautiful spacious rooms with an amazing spa facility, the pool and beach area are just perfect. Delicious food and drinks and the staff are super friendly always here to help

The adult only atmosphere was very much appreciated (although the volume of the music everywhere could be a bit lowered for our liking) and the service was great. Breakfast early morning on the terrace heavenly

The service from start to finish has been exceptional, from the reception staff dealing with our exceedingly late arrival due to a delayed flight very well, to the service at every meal and at all of the bars

The rooms are set out in a village setting surrounded by gorgeous well maintained trees and bushes. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is relaxing and well maintained and lovely views over the sea

An emergency dilemma the start of our holiday in Marbella. This hotel came to our rescue. Recommended by a staff member who lives not too far from the hotel. We were greeted by Javier at the Marbella Playa with a smile

Any others are a taxi ride or a fair walk. 7km to Marbella and 6km to Cabpino beach. Not for people wanting a lively nightlife

He went the extra me to accommodation. My parents are elderly, 80yrs & 75yrs. My father is blind with little mobility. Room, breakfast, staff and cost. Accommodation, food, facilities and location, all 1st class

This hotel is lovely and although a bit remote there's bars near and a short bus ride to Marbella. If you're wanting to have a drink after your evening meal there's only the hotel bar

Also would be nice to have a robe but this didn’t really bother me. The beach is 5 min away by walk. The highlight was also the Spa 😊 Really lovely and skilled staff in a tranquil and cosy spa rooms

What a lovely place to relax! We didn’t have the most expensive room in the hotel, so I can judge only based on my experience but it had everything you would want - very comfortable bed, it was spacious, clean with a beautiful view on the mountain range, kettle and a good quality coffee machine in the room

The bathroom was spacious and in general clean with few little recommendations to improve on (toilet roll holder not fixed to the wall properly and the grouting between few tiles in the shower needs extra care)

Big shout out and thank you to Elena my massage therapist, who was amazing! Overall very tranquil and lovely place to stay

At Beach Club Estrella Del Mar, they take immense pride in providing their guests with an experience that surpasses the standards of a five-star resort

Great location near the beach and good beach clubs are near by. The garden rooms are the best

The beach club is conveniently locate and provides a full-service spa, a nice restaurant/bar, and an awesome infinity pool. The service is impeccable -- attentive and always very pleasant

The kids club has mainly only games for very small kids and the beach is too far (on a public road) to send the kids to the beach by themself. The staff was very friendly but the service at pool was definitely not 5 star

The hotel is beautiful with many seating areas and lush gardens. Breakfast is so nice with many varieties and a great view of the sea. Staff goes out of their way to make things extra special

The beach is not very broad and filled with little pebble stones. The beach-club chairs should be free for hotel-guests (if you drink something or so). Overall a very nice expericience

The staff were incredible and so courteous. They went out of their way to make myself and my children welcome. My son has many allergies and they went above and beyond to cater to him and make both children feel included

Such a nice hotel with very friendly staff. You should try the strawberry colada made by Pablo. It’s delicious. The breakfast is amazing as well. The hotel is super clean and cozy.

Our room on the 6th floor, with the great views of the beach and sea were spectacular. We can't wait to come back!!! Every staff member we interacted with was polite and answered all our questions

The hotel is in a great location, reception staff are great. We stayed in 327 & 328 which are in need of refurbishment, the laminate floor is poorly fitted and uneven to walk on

The hotel fuerte Marbella is a wonderful resort located beach-side and a few steps from Marbella center. The hotel has a great variety of restaurants and very spacious open areas

They have their own beach club & restaurant which is very convenient. The rooms are a bit updated but very the bed and bathroom are very comfortable

For me personally, I really loved the idea of adult pool for lane swimming

Marvellous experience last week. Loved everything about this hotel. Perhaps the rooms now need to be upgraded, in particular, walk in showers. Also, instant coffee / long life milk to be provided in rooms

Balcony was great for drying clothes with a clothes rack. Pool was absolutely freezing and there is about a 2ft drop to get in the pool - you can't even hang your legs over to dip them in the water to cool down

Both jacuzzis were also fine but cold, you got used to it once you had been in a little while. The pool bar has food on order, we had pizzas a couple of times but the carbonara is horiffic I wouldn't eat that

Walk to the beach was about 5 minutes downhill but coming back up it is VERY STEEP especially if you're in flip flops so be careful

Staff on the front desk are mostly lovely, in particular one lady who seemed to work evenings was very nice! Didn't use the spa as 25 euros for 90 minutes was extremely expensive, especially if you wanted to visit multiple times

I've been to plenty of Spanish hotels that had a free spa or at least unlimited time in the day for the price. Breakfast I can't really fault, I found something I liked which was surprising given how fussy I am

There was a station to have freshly made fried egg and omlettes etc. Room was fine, we had two double beds pushed together which we didn't mind. Aircon was ancient in our room but worked fine

Amazing place where you can find everything for your Holliday spa sauna massage 💆‍♂️ pool Turkish bath and you have the playa behind the hotel what Amazing place. The staff is super Nice

Only quibble is that, in off peak season, a lot of the facilities were either not available or only available at reduced times and there was a lot of construction outside our rooms

With the exception of one or two surly members, all the staff are helpful and friendly and, if Ms Guadalupe is working behind the bar, get her whisky sour cocktail; it's a frozen version that's the best I've had outside the USA

On the whole, an excellent resort which is well placed by being only a ten minute walk or three minute cab ride to Porta Banus
