Just arrived for what must be my 10th visit to Greenfield and now its even better than it ever was. The hotel was beautiful located with a view to the sea. The breakfast selection was good. We also really enjoyed the Neo. Bar. However, we needs more soap at our room which we never got. At the breakfast the staff was very stressed and seems sloppy in topping up different stuff. It more seemed as 3 star than a four star hotel. Nevertheless we did enjoy our stay.

Just on my last day and enjoying a few hours of sun before my airport transfer. Had a great week, hotel is clean, gardens and communal areas are immaculate and the staff are all friendly. It's definitely a family orientated hotel but at this time of year it's quiet and perfect for solo travellers as well. We just had a fantastic week at this hotel. Just came back from another fantastic holiday in Gran Canaria. The hotel is great. The staff are always friendly and polite. The restaurant is wonderful. So much to choose from. Highly recommend staying here.

Good I really like this hotel and enjoyed the stay. Excellent food, but could vary more ( I was there for 2 weeks and got very tired of it). Rooms start to need a renovation and modernize to 21st century (USBs, comfy chairs in rooms, more modern bathrooms and overall decor). Annoying noise from construction in building next door every day from around 9am.

Very nice holiday. We are very grateful of taking care of our daughter who needs gluten free diet due to coeliac disease. Wow! Had an awesome week here with my fiance in December. + the food is amazing. Large buffet that had variation each day. There was some theme days like Mexican. We found this to be an average hotel a top notch price. Some staff very good, some staff outright rude. Had to wait for a table in the dining room on several occasions due to tables not being cleared in good time. Food was average for a hotel that is supposed to be 4 star. Wellness centre was poor and unstaffed with half of it not working including the jacuzzi, which was why we went in there.

Rooms A+, Location S+ and the staff/service is wonderful and detailed. Entertainment almost every night and the food, whether it's breakfast or dinner, is top! I need to visit once again. Last but not least, in November there are almost no kids around and that might be something worth if you care for peace.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we visited their bar a few times. This place is so clean! You can also dine and have their buffet for a fee(ask the friendly front desk). The buffet offers a smorgasbord of options (everything looked fresh and yummy), but we decided to try the neighbouring restaurants instead.

A lovely week away, special mention goes to Brian who truly made the atmosphere around the pool area what it was. A great personality who truly made it fun and a real asset to the hotel. Got everyone involved in activities and was really fun to take part in. Truly believed he made the whole holiday fun and would definitely come back knowing he is here.

We stayed here for 11 nights bed and breakfast in a 2 bedroom apartment (479) 8th-19th June. All the staff were brilliant, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts were very good and had lots of choice omelettes were very good. Poolside snacks were very good also and the tapas menu was very good. We had a meal in El Portalon restaurant which was lovely, not too expensive either. No problems getting...

There is a lot to like about the Sol Barbacan. We stayed for a week in a lovely bungalow with our own private roof terrace and next to the pool. It was lovely, really spacious and immaculately clean. The grounds are impeccable, and I didn’t meet a single grumpy staff member! All the staff meet you with a hello and a smile. A lovely hotel with great facilities! I felt very welcomed by the staff on arrival. The gym had everything needed and breakfast too with a lot to choose from. The staff were amazing! Especially Dina working on the bar, she was very friendly and she works very hard. Very nice adult only hotel. The pool area is really nice and till 4 pm the friendly staff serves drinks and food at the pool. Nice size room with balcony . The room has a small kitchen. The shower is big and the toilet very small. The restaurant near the reception is FANTASTIC ! ( better than the food at the pool) also breakfast is good. Gay friendly I do recommend this hotel

Excellent hotel! Super clean, nicely presented and amazing staff (everyone is so friendly and helpful!).Great rooms, comfy bed, massive shower and lovely finishing touches. Adults only hotel and breakfast really is til 12. Would def stay again. And can see why the reviews are so good.

Yes it’s exactly like the photos and the staff are the best team I have experienced. Paco welcomed us every morning for breakfast that was perfectly managed following all COVID safe protocols. Reception, restaurant, housekeeping, swimming pool guard and garden staff all got a 5 STAR from me. Great stay

Currently staying in this wonderful hotel. The staff and housekeeping are very welcoming and will help you in any way they can. The hotel is not that huge, which is perfect for a calm and relaxing stay. Breakfast is great with a lot of variety (live cooking, sweets) and a lot of healthy options as well.
