Location: on a rocky cliff above the sea, 120 km from the airport of Barcelona, 30 km from the airport of Girona, in the town of Platja Daro.

Consists of two 3-storey buildings.

The hotel has 120 rooms.

Beach: public sandy-pebble beach only 150 m from the hotel. Umbrellas, sunbeds on the beach – fee. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade. The descent to the beach stairs.

The location of the hotel is so beautiful, and the staff, are very nice, but the rooms are awful, the bed is horrible,and all night we were hearing noises from everywhere. They don't offer room service which is so weird, and the equipment is very close to 0. The water pressure is almost nothing.
They have a very limited number of parking lots, and you have to park outside of the hotel if there is a place. We literally couldn't get out, because we were afraid we could not find a place to park on our way back.
I think putting everything together, the hotel is so normal.

Very beautiful location, but far away from anything. Could be good if you are only planning to stay in the hotel.

Good restaurant, a lot of space and facilities.

Was very cozy decorations for Christmas season.

However 30 EUR/day supplementary price for the dog is a bit too much.

This review comes in two parts. Firstly the good. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Location fabulous, easy access to beach, coastal path and short walk to town. Room comfortable and clean. Great massage at the spa. Now for the not so good; room decoration a little tired and nasty blocked drain smell in bathroom. Food more works canteen than restaurant and while yes they do have a wide choice for breakfast, the hot options were always cold! The Hamman was out of order for the stay, and the sauna not working on one occasion, and cold on another as door left open. Do staff not check regularly? At the pool bar, asked for a cointreau which tasted nothing like, when queried, was told that it was similar, not actually as advertised.

As coming to the end of season, this hotel needs a good deal of attention as certainly not 4*

Stayed here for a short break. Perfect location. Attentive staff particularly Tatiana who was a huge help after I left my medications on the plain. She went above and beyond.
Rooms are very dated but clean and functional. As is the hotel overall. Buffet breakfast and evening meal is very basic but delicious. With nice regional wine. I think probably a 3* hotel but 5* location and service.
We had a lovely stay and would probably stay again if we were in the area.

The location was very good, nice views. But the hotel is very old. Don’t be fooled by beautiful pictures online.. I truly have one of the worst vacation memories in this hotel.

Stay away from this hotel. We are family of 4 with little kids, stayed for 9 days. This place is really old, dirty, has cockroaches in rooms, absolutely no service and no information provided at any stage. Views are nice though.

Worst Costa Brava experience. I was with my cousin and booked the hotel at 10 PM to sleep, we did not want to drive back to Barcelona. We got the hotel at 22:15, the girl called Tatiana started to work on our check-in. It took 20 minutes to give us the room card. We went to the room and saw that we have had only 1 bed and we booked the room with 2 beds. I went to the reception again to change it to 2 beds room. The receptionist went upstair to check if the room has 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms:) anyway, she gave us another room and we walked to the room and the card did not work , could not open the room. One more time I went downstairs to talk to the receptionist. She gave me the card again after working on it for some time, she said: now it works. Suprisingly, the card did not work one more time and I got pissed. It already took 40-45 min to get in the room and I just booked the hotel to sleep! I went downstairs and said: I want the refund, I will drive back to Barcelona as the card does not work. The receptionist named Tatiana was super rude and said: I do not see any problem I will not refund. She has no education at all and she works for the service business! We woke up super early and run away from this place. I will never go to this hotel anymore. I also saw from other people that similar things happen for them, I believe that Tatiana has been the actor for other cases. Shame on the hotel management that they do not even take any action!

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. We came to Costa Brava for a relaxing vacation, chose this hotel, booked a standard sea-view room (photos looked good), hoping to unwind. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to find ourselves in a completely different room with a broken bed, someone else's hair in the bed and bathroom, dirty walls, everything old and musty. They didn't change our room and were rude, the service was terrible, and that was the end of it. Horrible service, an old, smelly hotel—be cautious with reservations as the photos don't match reality at all.

Great view. Good breakfast.
Room for too was ok for few nights. (Everything is old but it works)
They do not provide slippers, a robe or any bath amenities (except gel and shower).
