Rosamar & Spa 4*s Mini-hotel

We booked this hotel as a last minute holiday with a travel company. Once we had booked it we then looked at the reviews, which I know was silly. Once we had read them we were a tad worried. We didnt need to me, we loved this hotel, the location is perfect, right near the beach, but far enough from the noisy night life of Lloret de Mar. Loads of places to walk around and explore. The hotel itself. Firstly the reception staff could not have been more helpful, we had an incident in the middle of the night with our room a couple of days into the holiday, they immediately relocated us (4am) and the next day found us another sea view room which we had booked and paid for. All done seamlessly without any fuss and they could not have been more apologetic. The sea view rooms have absolutely stunning views. The beach is gorgeous. We went half board, the breakfasts you couldnt fault, apart from not the hottest we have had and the evening meals were great, a good all round selection. The hotel has a wonderful adults only area, which has lovely comfortable seating and a smallish, but well needed pool, with little seats right down the side so you can get in and cool down. Unfortunately this was the only downside to the whole week. On our last day a large group of holidaymakers booked into the hotel and they had several under 18 year old children with them. They all submerged on the adult only area and proceeded to take up all the seats, this of course is fine as they have paid for it as much as anyone else, but the children also came up with them. There were probably around 6 under age children and they were fairly noisy, but they then all got in the pool, and although there were people sitting around in the pool they proceeded to play noisy ball games, throwing the ball from one end of the pool and splashing everyone and being very vocal. There is a perfectly adequate childrens pool, which is much larger than the adult one, was very disappointed that although hotel staff walked by the pool and through the adult area on a regular basis, this was never challenged and in fact one member of staff administered first aid to one of the children whilst in the adult area. As it was our last day we just left and spent the day on our balcony. It was a shame, but definetly didnt change our view of the hotel and glad we didnt listen to the negative reviews. Will definetly go and stay again.

They were friendly, the food was more than enough and very tasty. There is a wide choice of swimming pools.

First the positives, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was really good. The outdoor spaces were beautiful. We didn't keep the air conditioning on because the system was old-fashioned, the machine made a really loud noise and the blowing was quite strong. However, the biggest minus was that the gym's age limit was 18. I would recommend setting it to, for example, 14 because young people are keen exercisers. Likewise, the spa was a disappointment because the children couldn't get there. It was also a surprise that the hardest sunbathing spot was forbidden to children. If you don't want families with children in your hotel, it would be good to let them know.

Nice hotel, a bit dated but still charming. The bathrooms could use some renovation. The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive. A heated children’s pool would be nice, but there is a beautiful, heated indoor saltwater pool. The buffet food was good, and the chefs and service staff were very kind. Unfortunately, you have to pay immediately as charging to the room is not possible. The hotel is pleasantly located away from the party scene, which is a plus. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a small playground directly on the beach.

5 adults spread in 3 rooms. Couldn't fault one aspect of this hotel. Staff are all great. Drinks and food were good and plentiful. Plenty of sunbeds all round. We spent all of the time in the adults only area which was nice and quiet. Would recommend

Location is perfect, cannot fault this. Staff are also perfect, very very friendly and polite, always willing to help. Food is absolutely fantastic, i am a fussy eater even if there is nothing good to eat there is always some fresh meats or pizza, brilliant. Only criticism i have is the adults only pool is very dirty and could do with a good clean, and the lack of bars (only 1 bar in whole hotel!), but the positive very much outweigh these small negatives.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would rate my overall experience 4.5 out of 5.

### Pluses:
One of the standout features of this hotel is its prime location, just a short walk away from the sea, making beach access incredibly convenient. Every evening, the hotel hosts a different show program, providing diverse and entertaining performances that add a vibrant touch to the stay.

The staff at the hotel were consistently friendly and polite, contributing significantly to the pleasant atmosphere. A special mention goes to the fitness worker, who is not only highly knowledgeable in creating personalized fitness programs but also excels as a trainer in the basics of Latin American dances. This unique offering allows guests to engage in fitness and dance activities, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the stay.

### Minuses:
However, there were a few downsides to the experience. The ventilation in the toilets relies solely on windows, leading to an unpleasant smell at times. This issue could be mitigated with a more robust ventilation system. Additionally, the doors in the hotel rooms could benefit from better soundproofing, as noise from other guests in the corridors was noticeable in the mornings, which could be disruptive.

Overall, despite these minor issues, the hotel provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay with its excellent location, superb dining options, engaging entertainment, and outstanding fitness services.
