We’ve just come back from a 10-day holiday at this hotel, our second visit after enjoying it six years ago. While we were excited to return, I’ll do my best to provide an honest review without letting our past experience overly influence my thoughts.
First, I recommend against choosing the all-inclusive option. Compared to other all-inclusive holidays we've been on, this experience felt lacking. On arrival, we had to wait until exactly noon for our wristbands, which made us feel like the hotel was worried we’d take advantage before we were officially checked in.
We also encountered a surprising €15 deposit per towel at the spa, which felt excessive. The drink selection was limited, with pre-made cocktails that tasted nothing like what they were supposed to—often warm and quite unappetizing.
The food was decent but repetitive; we found ourselves bored with the options after a few days. This was a stark contrast to our previous visit when the dining experience felt much better.
On a positive note, the staff were fantastic—very nice and polite, which definitely enhanced our stay. However, if you opt for half or full board and pay for drinks separately, you’ll find a much better selection.
In summary, we spent nearly a grand each on all-inclusive and unfortunately did not feel we got our money's worth this time around. It’s a shame, as we had such high hopes for this return visit.
### Pluses:
One of the standout features of this hotel is its prime location, just a short walk away from the sea, making beach access incredibly convenient. The hotel's restaurant is another highlight, offering delicious food with a wide variety of dishes that change daily, ensuring every meal is a new culinary adventure. Every evening, the hotel hosts a different show program, providing diverse and entertaining performances that add a vibrant touch to the stay.
The staff at the hotel were consistently friendly and polite, contributing significantly to the pleasant atmosphere. A special mention goes to the fitness worker, who is not only highly knowledgeable in creating personalized fitness programs but also excels as a trainer in the basics of Latin American dances. This unique offering allows guests to engage in fitness and dance activities, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the stay.
### Minuses:
However, there were a few downsides to the experience. The ventilation in the toilets relies solely on windows, leading to an unpleasant smell at times. This issue could be mitigated with a more robust ventilation system. Additionally, the doors in the hotel rooms could benefit from better soundproofing, as noise from other guests in the corridors was noticeable in the mornings, which could be disruptive.
Overall, despite these minor issues, the hotel provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay with its excellent location, superb dining options, engaging entertainment, and outstanding fitness services.
