Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel

We’ve just returned from a week all-inclusive stay at Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel, and overall we had a pleasant holiday, though there were definitely some areas that could be improved.

To start with the positives, the hotel grounds are lovely and very well maintained. The rooms and general hotel areas were clean, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar and restaurant staff in particular were very quick, attentive, and genuinely good at what they do — service was always smooth and efficient. The location is also great — close to the mountains with beautiful views, not too far from the beach, although the nearest shops are a bit of a walk. The food was always warm and, although the buffet is on the smaller side, there was a nice enough selection. The themed food nights were a great touch too — we particularly enjoyed the Mexican night. The food at the pool bar was also really nice and very handy, perfect for keeping you going throughout the day.

There wasn’t much daytime entertainment for the first few days, and it might have been nice to have a bit more going on just to add some variation. The evenings always had something on, and towards the end of the week a young entertainment lad arrived who deserves a special mention — he was genuinely sweet and really tried his hardest to get the small crowd involved and enjoying themselves. Even though he was only there for a couple of days, his effort and enthusiasm really lifted the atmosphere.

The maids were lovely — always smiling, always happy to help, and our room was left tidy and refreshed every single day. The only issue we had was one occasion where a maid walked in while we were asleep, which was a little intrusive, but otherwise they were fantastic.

However, there were quite a few maintenance issues in our suite. The windows and balcony door didn’t lock, which didn’t leave us feeling completely comfortable. There was a hole in the sofa, paint on the curtains, peeling paint elsewhere, and the shower door didn’t close properly. At times the bathroom smelled unpleasant, and a hole in the silicone in the shower meant water leaked onto the floor. It would be nice to see the rooms given a bit of a revamp, just to freshen them up and neaten everything overall.

The pool area is nice, but the big pool was absolutely freezing — definitely not heated, which was a shame.

Food-wise, while what was offered was good, it was very similar every day, so a bit more variation would be appreciated.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the lovely staff, tidy grounds, clean rooms, helpful maids, great bar and restaurant service, tasty pool bar food, the themed food nights, and the hard work of the entertainment lad at the end of the week. With a bit more attention to detail, some room updates, and more daytime activities, this hotel could be excellent

Just got back from a 9night stay and it was lovely ♥️ I would return in a heart beat.
Out apartment was clean and modern. The staff were very helpful and attentive.
I've never been at the end of November for the sun and was very happy to see it as we left Wales in the snow !

We are currently staying here and haven't even checked out yet! We leave in a couple of days.

I feel that some of the negative reviews and comments are a bit unfair and unjustified. There seems to be a lot of negativity in relation to the food/buffet. We are half board and honestly, the breakfast and evening buffets are amazing. Excellent presentation and selection including chefs who cook pasta and meat to order and eggs/omlettes and fresh pancakes for breakfast.

The waiters are friendly and polite and are very attentive. I imagine it's a pretty thankless job so I do want to express our thanks to the restaurant staff because I think they do an amazing job.

The one thing I would mention is that half board doesn't include drinks in the evening and you have to order those. I don't mind paying for drinks but it's unusual for soft drinks to not be included. I suppose it's harder to manage and keep track of whose taking what which is why they probably do it the way they do. Its not an issue but in wonder if it wouldn't make more sense to either pay a bit more so that your drinks are included or have some sort of drinks voucher scheme.

The furniture in the rooms are a bit tired but did not affect our stay - 4 of us in an apartment and there's plenty of room to spread out. There's a private sunbathing area as well as a private outside area with your own sun loungers.

Staff do come in and empty bins, make the beds and give you fresh towels if you need them. Much thanks to those members of staff too!

The pool is a bit chilly, I won't lie. I read somewhere that they start heating it from November. Once you're in though, you do acclimatise. We're not "spend all day around the pool" people and you get lots of people who ignore the rules and "reserve" loungers with their towels but it's nice to dip on after a day in the sun. Technically, you don't need a lounger if you're in the pool - we just use one to put all our stuff on.

We haven't used the bar or sampled any of the live entertainment as that's not really our thing but we can hear the music and they do tend to finish at around 10.30pm so no issues there either.

This is the first time we've had a holiday like this and honestly, we've had an amazing time. It's prompted us to consider more holidays like this which we certainly would not be doing if we'd had a bad or unpleasant experience.

Just returned from a 7day vist. All inclusive with 1x 2bed suit and 2x one bed suits.
Can't fault any of the staff All friendly and very attentive. Most speak English or try (its dont hurt for holiday makers to know some basic Spanish either 😝)
Day one noticed our fridge in room was only warm. Told reception and was replaced with a brand new one few hours later,
In the room little bits like shower leaked slightly but nothing abnormal for a few year old room used all year round. Bedding and room itself was clean and the house keepers cleaned daily.

Food was good and was themed every day so had a mixture (always had a chips and pizza option for people who didn't fancy the theme) im rather fussy but always found food to eat. Pool bar also serves things like toasty, burgers etc

The pool itself was clean tidy, little chilly but was nice on hot days. Wasn't really any sunbed wars and we manged to get 4beds most of the times (did have one afternoon was full but just walked from room in swimming costumes and placed towels on edge) did notice a couple of times there were beds reserved with towels at 8am and the people didnt turn up till 4pm!

Only a short walk from beach and lots of little supermarkets near by.

Wifi dont work any where other than reception area, the signal is there all over the resort but can't get ip address or connect to Internet (definitely a connection problem to the repeater router somewhere) our phones have unlimited data for roaming so didnt actually effect us but may do others.

This hotel was probably the best hotel I’ve ever been. The employees were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and also have a modern interior. Absolutely amazing was the buffet, it’s not always the same, that’s pretty nice to have a good variety of food.
The best for us was the big pool and the area around it. It’s very clean, modern and also not too crowded.

Our stay at Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel was a fantastic experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the entire team. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, setting a great tone for our holiday. The suites were well-suited for a family of two adults and two children, offering comfort and convenience. While some areas of the rooms could benefit from minor maintenance, this did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

For the price, the value exceeded expectations, making for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The evening kids’ mini disco was a delightful touch, though, like most hotels, it was brief at 30 minutes. The hotel’s peaceful atmosphere added to its charm, and its location—just a pleasant 25-minute walk from town—provided a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility.

We highly recommend Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel to families seeking a comfortable and serene holiday experience.

Wonderful hotel, staff are so lovely and welcoming. Rooms are nice, beds not the most comfy but not bad for a week. Breakfast is nice and they always have someone cooking fresh items like omelette. Dinners are different each evening. Cocktails from the bar were lovely with such friendly staff. There are some shops and restaurants about a 15 minute walk but to explore more you need to be able to walk a fair distance or be happy to get a taxi. Reception are brilliant with taxis and will help.
Loved our stay and will definitely come back to Lanzarote to explore further.

We stayed here all inclusive for 10 nights. Had a lovely stay, rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Food, a huge variety, different cuisines each day for dinner. It did feel a little repetitive after a few days, but food was tasty enough. Pool area was clean and always sun loungers available, says you can't put your towel on to save them but people still did, but as I say there were always some available. Snack bar was ok food was burger, hotdogs, fries or a toastie. It was ok nothing great. Cocktails were lovely. Entertainment was ok, bingo, kids disco, live singers etc. The 2 sisters were my favourite.
My door on our room wouldn't lock as it had dropped. Cleaners didn't realise so my door was left open after cleaning. They fixed it but after a couple of days it dropped again. I had to wait for my room to be cleaned before going out so I could lock up. Closest beach is about 20 mins walk flamingo beach. Main playa blanca is about a 40 minute walk. There are cats about too which I made friends with, if you go here give them some loves from me 🥰
