We spent two wonderful days at this resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, with impeccable cleanliness and stunning views of the sea. The resort itself is large and well-equipped, offering a variety of amenities and three excellent restaurants. The spa is well-maintained and never too crowded.
There are several swimming pools and a beautifully landscaped park. While there is no direct access to a private beach (as all beaches in Spain are public), it's just a short walk through a gate and down a pathway to reach the shoreline. However, do note that there are no resort-provided sunbeds or umbrellas on the beach.
The staff across the resort were highly professional and attentive. The breakfast selection was exceptional, offering a wide variety of choices.

A couple of things to keep in mind: the resort is family-friendly, which means children are often present, even in the spa, which can sometimes disrupt the otherwise peaceful atmosphere (I'd recommend restricting access for a more relaxing experience). Additionally, some of the amenities are quite overpriced—€10 for a bottle of water at the restaurant felt excessive, and it's worth noting that you can't drink tap water.

Overall, it's a fantastic resort with great facilities and service, but slightly overpriced for its real value.

We spent a week here as a family. The service is excellent the pool is stunning however the rooms are Giant, dated older Marriot-type hotel with St Regis prices. Given you pay premium price the rooms needs updating the sofa bed is very uncomfortable and hard, however the main bed is comfortable but does squeak. The shower head in the bathtub wasn’t very consistent with the water being hot and then cold. The shower was blocked one day, so it got flooded it was resolved quickly. The cleaning team do an excellent job though, they keep the rooms very very clean they deserve huge prices. Overall I’d give this place 3 stars it’s not worth the big price sadly we won’t be returning. They’re building Mandarin hotel right next door it should be finish next year so we might book with them when it’s open.

While the hotel and grounds were beautiful, and the service was excellent, I wouldn't stay here again. It was mid-August, the beach club isn't open for dinner on Wed or Thurs and was completely closed both days due to 'bad weather', which was really just an hour of rain. The adults outdoor pool was also being closed sporadically during the day. Tiny beach! Way too many children running around the hotel. This is not a romantic getaway for couples.

The amenities at this hotel are outstanding—truly beyond great. However, the rooms could use an update. We stayed in the garden suite and, unfortunately, didn’t enjoy our time there or get much sleep. The room was spacious but felt uninviting (not temperature-wise). It was dark, and the bathroom layout was odd. Nonetheless, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection of tasty options.

I’m a big fan of the St Regis brand and have stayed in many around the world. The service at this place be delivered on St Regis standards. No issues there. It’s the physical hotel itself that was below expectations. The new pool, restaurant and beach bar were all gorgeous. They need to do a similar remodel for the rooms. Size wise the room was great but it felt old and very tired. The hotel was built in 02 and the rooms feel lost in time and in dire need of a remodel.

After 3 days of having all of my meals on property, I was admitted to the hospital with food poisoning. The hotel did absolutely nothing to take any responsibility for the immense suffering I experienced. I spoke with the hotel manager multiple times. He was polite but did nothing. He ignored my requests for follow-up. If there was any question at all of where I ate the bad food, I would not expect them to do much, but in case, we did not leave the property for the first 3 days, so the source of the bad food was 100% from the St Regis. They have The records of all of our meals and that our car did not move for those 3 days. They knew it was from their resort but they did not care.

In addition to the poor experience related to the food, the service at this hotel is slow and inattentive. Furthermore, they advertise that each room comes with a “butler” - but that is not at all the case. The butler provides only 1 service - pressing up to 6 items a day. This is a great service, but it is hardly a butler.

The “smart” lighting system in the rooms is enough to not want to ever go back. They use motion sensitive night lights that light up at night if you need to use the restroom. Nice thought, but very poorly executed.

The grounds are beautiful, but they have grown the hedges so talk, you have no idea you are on the water. It feels like a backyard more than a resort on the sea.

There are several other options that have better locations for less than half the price.

Very disappointing experience for a five-star property. The spa treatments were average, though the staff there was pleasant. The spa pool is dated and lacks the service you might expect at similar properties. Otherwise, the food at Terra Restaurant was poor. The wait staff and main pool staff were apathetic and/or rude. Do not recommend with so many other high-end options on Mallorca.

Luxury beach hotel with beautiful rooms, excellent cuisine, wonderful outdoor areas with 3 terraced outdoor pools, separate children's pool and separate family area, direct beach access, amazing spa with beautiful indoor pool (underwater music) and nearby villages with local shops restaurants. The service was top notch. Recommended in every way! (Extended weekend in May 2007 or 2008)

What a spectacular hotel! We spent 2 nights at the St. Regis Mardavall and were speechless. The service was phenomenal. Thanks to Henry and the whole team for making this holiday a memorable one. The food at Aqua was the best food we ever had on the island. The spa is very relaxing and unique and the rooms, including the view, are just perfect. We can't wait to go back soon. Faltush family
