Location: 15 km from airport, 5 km from the centre of Palma, in the tourist area of Cala Mayor, 300 m from the Royal Palace Marivent, on the first line.

The bed in the hotel hall (Baroque, early nineteenth century), belonged to the Archduke Louis Salvador of Austria – the owner of the Nixe yacht, on behalf of which the hotel is named.

There are plenty of restaurants around but the hotel food and drinks were very good. The air conditioning was very strong and there was a digital button you could use to indicate you wanted housekeeping or did not want to be disturbed. Would recommend staying here to anybody traveling to Mallorca!
On the fourth night, we had to relocate to a new room. After turning on the air conditioning and leaving, we later discovered the air filter needed replacing. This oversight was particularly problematic given my allergys, which I had specified during booking in hopes of avoiding such issues. I had an uncomfortable night of sleep due to this. All of these details can be very annoying, and not expected from a 5-star hotel.
The very staff was nice and willing to help.
