It was our first visit to Tenerife we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The Concordia playa Hotel Puerto De Cruz was in a very good location.
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff very friendly. We used the Taxi a few times and the price they change is very reasonable.

Not a 4 star Hotel for sure, but definitely a 3 star to me.
Staff was super nice, location near the coast is fantastic.

I can not give 4 stars for this hotel! It's quite old, need renovation! Staff very friendly and helpful! Food was good but not perfect equally to the price! Very good location!

Stayed here for a week solo which I booked last minute. Room was perfect nice views from balcony, with the hotel being in a great location. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Reception staff were able to answer any query I had and had good knowledge of the local area, bar staff made excellent drinks and cleaning staff cleaned my room well. Enough of all groups of staff spoke perfect English too Food was ok and the pool area was nice too. Would recommend.

This is not 4 star hotel. It’s not even 3! The hotel inside is extremely backdated! Looks like this hotel had better times but over 30 years ago! Rooms are simple which is not a problem but when u have nightlight, all of the sockets and fridge doors broken this becomes a problem! We stayed there from 8-14 feb. Location is good close to everything! Most of hotel guests are over 60 ( they might enjoy the facilities but when u used to proper standard u will hate it there!). I would defo not recommend. It’s defo not for couples and not families! Pool tiny and tired! Restaurant it’s a kind of joke old and dirty! Cooks can’t handle small number of guest so u wonder how they can do it when they are busy!

The window in the room was dirty and the curtain was torn. The sofa bed was wrinkled and dirty and looked like it had been taken from the garbage. In the bathroom the ventilation hole was full of mold and dust. The ventilation duct hadn’t been cleaned for years - at least not since the bathroom walls were last painted because the paint partially covered the ventilation duct hatch. This is why the smell in the bathroom was awful. The dining room is a schokingly uncomfortable basement trap. The quality of the food varies: sometimes almost good but mostly monotonous and cold. Changing the places and serving dishes of the food does not improve the quality of the food. Only multilingual staff at the reception- maybe that’s why the service was a bit stiff and didn’t leave a good impression. The level of cleaning also varied. Clean sheets only when claimed to the reception. Positives: the hotel is perfectly located and the beds in the room were good. But definitely not four stars hotel - two stars would be the highest rate from us.

Staff were brilliant and very polite. Rooms were basic but expected for the price. Beds could’ve been comfier. However, boyfriend loved the bum washer. Breakfast had lots to choose from. Good location, right by the beach. Have some fun performances in the evening. Crowd was older than us.

This hotel has no chance of being 4*

Black mold in the bathroom. Rust on the ceiling and around the toilet.

Torn pillows, uncomfortable beds. And the person who designed the rooms has probably never entered one or used a toilet. Toilet paper holder behind the toilet itself? Come on.

Tv table was placed so stupidly that there was always no space, but that wasn’t the main problem. The problem was it’s corners which were exactly in the height of our daugter’s head and she hurt herself a multiple times.

When we asked for a different room, we were told all the rooms are the same.

Which brings me to another point- adding a welcome drink and a tiny fridge, which can’t fit anything, doesn’t make the room “premium”. This room was far below standard, definitely not premium.

The only good thing about the room was the balcony view.

Wifi was slow, but more or less working.

The hotel was presented as a family friendly hotel, but with absolute zero things for kids.

Swimming pool was totally useless as it’s open only 10-18 o’clock, so it closes exactly in time when you are returning to the hotel and you want to wash out some salt. But that actually doesn’t really matter, because it’s awfuly cold. The stairs leading to the pool barely held itself and felt like it’s gonna fall of. The last thing was prohibition of using floatables. So no kids again.

Staff at the reception hasn’t had any informations at all, not even where to get a post stamps.

Elevators should definitely go faster and at least one more would help a lot.

Hotel also offers a parking, but you have to come to the reception at 8:00 and ask if there’s any space for you. And if you’re lucky enough you’ll pay 10€/day. We haven’t had the luck and we rather parked at the mall around the corner for more than double the price. Which was actually okay, because the hotel parking entrance seemed like you’re entering some private staff area and was closed with a gate.

Food was kind of repetitive and the kitchen fumes went all around the dining area. Food wasn’t anyhow good or bad and it’s a matter of taste. Breakfasts were more or less same every day, but good. The only thing i was missing about the food were cards naming each plate as otherwise you can just guess what it is that you put on your plate. No alergen list as well.

But, to not only shame the hotel, i must admit that the housekeeping and dining staff does a great work and were very friendly and nice.

The rooms are ok, good that all have a balcony, and no matter which side you choose you will have a very nice view. The food they serve is almost suitable for all needs, and they have a wide variety of them, that's if you're not picky and used to only caviars and lobsters. The only thing I would improve would be the desserts. The staff is also very nice, helpful and very friendly. It's a good place for the money.

I am surprised after reading few bad reviews about this hotel, so here is my review:
- room, and bathroom are spacious, cleaned very well six days a week (we stayed at ninth floor)
- water pressure is great, plenty of hot water, bets and pillows are comfortable
- buffet breakfasts and suppers are great - versatile menus, plenty of choices
- hotel is close to everything
All three elevators operated during my stay, yes it was necessary to wait sometimes, but not for long. I didn’t interact with hotel staff much, so I can’t say much how friendly or efficient they are. To complainers about the hotel pool - cmon guys get a life, there are plenty of excellent beaches nearby, walking distance away.
Now some things to improve:
- air conditioning was loud and inefficient, luckily in November we can just open balcony door
- wifi is poor, often disconnecting or lowering speed
- juices served are actually a colored water, that turn into plain water as breakfast or supper progresses
- bathtub, but I prefer to have a shower cabin
- yes, in many other countries this would be a three star hotel, so what
